Classifying a Strength of Dependency between classes by using Software Metrics and Machine Learning in Object-Oriented System (기계학습과 품질 메트릭을 활용한 객체간 링크결합강도 분류에 관한 연구)

  • Object oriented design brought up improvement of productivity and software quality by adopting some concepts such as inheritance and encapsulation. However, both the number of software's classes and object couplings are increasing as the software volume is becoming larger. The object coupling between classes is closely related with software complexity, and high complexity causes decreasing software quality. In order to solve the object coupling issue, IT-field researchers adopt a component based development and software quality metrics. The component based development requires explicit representation of dependencies between classes and the software quality metrics evaluates quality of software. As part of the research, we intend to gain a basic data that will be used on decomposing software. We focused on properties of the linkage between classes rather than previous studies evaluated and accumulated the qualities of individual classes. Our method exploits machine learning technique to analyze the properties of linkage and predict the strength of dependency between classes, as a new perspective on analyzing software property.

Techniques to Transform EJB 2.1 Components to EJB 3.0 for Performance Improvement and Component Reusability (컴포넌트의 성능향상과 재사용을 위한 EJB 2.1 컴포넌트에서 EJB 3.0로의 변환기법)

  • The EJB 3.0 specifications, which were improved in terms of performance and ease of development, were recently announced. Accordingly, for the EJB 3.0 application environment, developers generally prefer the gradual transformation of components whose performance must be improved to the complete transformation of all the EJB 2.1 components into EJB 3.0 components. Previous studies, however, did not consider the service of the application and did not ensure the compatibility and reusability of the components in the full replacement of EJB 3.0 due to the transformation using different specifications. This study proposed three transformation techniques that consider the service supported in the existing application, wherein the compatibility and reusability of the components are ensured in the case of the full replacement of EJB 3.0. The proposed transformation techniques are techniques for gradual transformation, such as direct transformation that directly connects components, indirect transformation that uses the EJB connector, and indirect template transformation wherein the template pattern is applied to the indirect transformation. The proposed transformation techniques were verified by comparing the reusability and processing capability of the components per second, and the standards for selecting a technique were provided based on the characteristics of the transformation into EJB 3.0 that were found in this study.

  • This paper is introduced about Design driven testing, for real time system, based on use case approaches, We focuses on a part of an extended use case approach for real time software development, which partitions design schema into layered design component architecture of functional components called "design component", We developed a use case action matrix to contain a collection of related scenarios each describing a specific variant of an executable sequence of use case action units, which reflected the behavioral properties of the real time system design, in this paper, we attempt to apply real time system with design driven testing with test plan metrics which is introduced which produces an ordering of this scenario set to enhance productivity and both promote and capitalize on test case reusability of existing scenarios.scenarios.

  • 웹사이트는 정보 미디어와 애플리케이션 플랫폼을 가지고 널리 사용되어지고 있다. 작은 기업들이 큰 기업들과 경쟁하기 위해서 웹사이트 구축과 웹에 기반한 애플리케이션 개발이 절실히 요구되어지고 있다. 하지만, 대부분의 웹사이트 구축과 웹 애플리케이션의 생성은 체계적인 프로세스 없이 개발자들의 지식과 경험에 의존하여 임시직으로 개발되어 왔다. 따라서, 이러한 웹사이트 구축과 웹 애플리케이션 생성에 체계적인 프로세스를 가지는 소프트웨어 공학이 적용되어 개발, 유지되어져야 한다. 본 논문에서는 최근에 ActiveX, Java, ASP, CORBA등 다양한 형태의 코드와 플러그-인으로 개발되는 웹사이트와 웹 응용 애플리케이션에서 컴포넌트의 형태로 요소들을 구성, 접근하여 사용하고, 다른 웹사이트 구축이나 다른 웹 애플리케이션에서 이미 사용한 구성 성분을 재사용 함으로써 새로운 웹사이트 구축과 웹 애플리케이션 개발이 가능한 성분조립모델(the Component Assembly Model)을 웹사이트 개발 프로세스로써 활용하고자 한다.

  • 시스템 개발환경이 대형화, 복잡화됨에 따라 개발 생명주기의 각 단계에서 발생하는 요건은 기술적, 관리적 측면에서 많은 영향을 받게 되었다. 즉, 개발 생명주기의 초기단계에서 요건에 대한 잘못된 이해나 분석, 개발 영역에 대한 충분한 이해와 관리의 부재 및 계속적인 변경 요구는 부정확성하고 불완전한 요건을 발생시키고, 다른 요건과의 충돌 및 일관성 결여 등을 발생시킬 수 있다. 이러한 결과는 전체적인 시스템의 완전성과 성능 등에 커다란 영향을 주고 유지보수에 많은 비용과 노력을 요구한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 실무 프로젝트 개발에 적용할 수 있도록 요건관리와 관련된 프로세스와 활동을 요구공학을 기반으로 완전성과 일치성을 가진 요구사항의 생성 및 관리 등을 포함하는 총체적인 활동과 원칙에 대한 공학적 접근을 제시하여 전체 소프트웨어 개발비용과 위험부담을 경감시키며 품질향상을 이룰 수 있도록 한다. 또한, 각 업무 도메인과 개발 환경에 따라 적절하게 적용할 수 있도록 프로세스와 활동을 커스터마이징 및 컴포넌트화하고 요구사항 관리 도구의 프로토타입을 제시한다.

  • Game Designs & Developers that system designs improve, the product and the change of tasks to all developers are essential in achieving On-Line Game project. Existent Or-line Game project management designs supper the definition and the change of project activities, and configuration management designs support version check, workspace management, build management, etc. In this paper. the proposed Design defines Game component based development process model, and achieves recording of process progression, processing the request of change, reporting the progression of each task, product registering and change, version recording, artifact or form search, etc. using UML. Furthermore, study on the stake holders get the systematic management and standardization by sharing information that are necessary in Game design & development and configuration management in distributed environment using the system integrated management design.

Task Parallelism System of Application for Multicore-Based Mobile Platform (멀티코어 기반 모바일 플랫폼을 위한 애플리케이션의 태스크 병렬화 시스템)

  • This paper proposes a task parallelism system (BioMP) to improve applications' execution time of multicore based mobile device. When application developers append the functions of parallel specification into the existing software, our proposed system supports the parallel processing of threads as well as a compatibility. BioMP improves the software in order that an existing large-scale source can recognize the multicore architecture. From our experiment, our idea improved the execution time of application until about 64% against the existing system in multicore environment based on quad core. In addition, BioMP does not require any additional modification of a mobile platform because BioMP is independent component. Consequently, when application developers release multicore-aware applications into the application store, users can immediately run without any modification of the mobile device.

  • As software systems become more complex and larger, software systems require a way to reuse software components or modules to provide new functionality. This paper designed a development method of web system combining SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) with MPSL(Multi-Software Product Line). According to provides SOA and MPSL, this paper suggested to service providers and service users to provide and reuse variable services. From the viewpoint of service provider, the suggested method identifies and implements reusable variable services as features by syntax-based, functional-based, and behavior-based methods applying feature identification guidelines and manages them as reuse assets. From the user's point of view, it is possible to develop a web system by constructing a service by workflow model as a method of structure and reconfigure services. As a result of measuring the reuse of the web system constructed in this paper by the function point, the cost reduction effect was verified by applying it to the similar project with the increase of reuse.

  • As the information-intensive society in 21c based on the environment of global internet is promoted, the software is getting more large and complex, and the demand for the software is increasing briskly. So, it becomes an important issue in academic and industrial field to activate reuse by developing and exchanging the standardized component. Currently, the information services as a product type of each company are provided in foreign market place for reusing a commercial component, but the components which are serviced in each market place are different, insufficient and unstandardized. That is, construction for Component Data Registry based on ISO 11179, is not accomplished. Hence, the national government has stepped up the plan for sending out public component at 2001. Therefore, the systems as a tool for sharing and exchange of data, have to support the meta-information of standardized component. In this paper, we will propose the C_MDR system: a tool to register and manage the standardized meta-information, based upon ISO 11179, for the commercialized common component. The purpose of this system is to systemically share and exchange the data in chain of acceleration of reusing the component. So, we will show the platform of specification for the component meta-information, then define the meta-information according to this platform, also represent the meta-information using XML for enhancing the interoperability of information with other system. Moreover, we will show that three-layered expression make modeling to be simple and understandable. The implementation of this system is to construct a prototype system of the component meta-information through the internet on www, this system uses ASP as a development language and RDBMS Oracle for PC. Thus, we may expect the standardization of the exchanged component metadata, and be able to apply to the exchanged reuse tool.
