Information delivery among young generation has a distinct tendency to prefer visual to text as means of information distribution and sharing recently, and it is natural to distribute information through Youtube or one-man broadcasting on Internet. That is, young generation usually get their information through this kind of distribution procedure. Many young generation are also drastic and more aggressive for decorating themselves very uniquely. It tends to create personal characteristics freely through drastic expression and attempt of face makeup, hair styling and fashion coordination without distinction of sex. Especially, face makeup becomes an object of major concern among males nowadays, and female of course, then it is the major means to express their personality. In this study, to meet the demands of the times, we design and implement the intellectual smart mirror application that efficiently retrieves and recommends the related videos among Youtube or one-man broadcastings produced by famous professional makeup artists to implement the face makeup congruous with our face shape, hair color & style, skin tone, fashion color & style in order to create the face makeup that represent our characteristics. We also introduce the AI technique to provide optimal solution based on the learning of user's search patterns and facial features, and finally provide the detailed makeup face images to give the chance to get the makeup skill stage by stage.

The purpose of this study is to examine the Characteristics of Fashion Trends($1996{\sim}2005$) of Korea by the trend elements - style, fabric and color. The results of this study are as followed. During 10years, 'modern(18%)', 'elegant(11%)' and 'romantic(10%)' styles were shown in order, and colors of YR(17%), Y(14%), R(13%) and PB(11%) were shown in order. Considering tones, m(16%), d(12%), gy(11%) and s(10%) tones were in the order of frequency. In the fabric trend 'elegant(19%)', 'modern(14%)' and 'natural(14%)' images showed the high frequency. Since 2000's, style trends and fabric trends were subdivided, and the contrary images coexisted. The trend images of 'natural', 'retro', 'manish' and 'fun' were mainly used in fabric trend, and 'romantic' and 'classic' images were frequently used in style trend. The changes of trend images in style and fabric have been similar until the early 2000's but the cycle of trend of style became shorter than fabric trend. Therefore the cycle of fabric trend should be changed to be a short term and subdivided in company with style trend.

In this study, we synthesized a self-photocuring intermediate(SPI) by Michael addition reaction and synthesized polyurethane acrylate oligomer. Analysis and physical properties of the synthesized SPI and polyurethane acrylate oligomer were confirmed by FT-IR, NMR and UTM. As the content of the SPI increased, the tensile strength increased and the elongation decreased. In addition, since the film was hydrophobic, the surface energy tended to decrease. When the content of the SPI was 40 wt%, adhesion, processability, and pencil hardness were excellent, and solvent resistance was excellent overall.

The thermal degradation behavior and reliability analysis were investigated using dynamic thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and accelerated degradation test (ADT) to characterize the dynamic parameters related to thermal degradation of plastic meterials for household electric appliances. In addition, the weathering of the plastic were performed by ADT using Xenon uc, and the color difference of the samples after ADT were measured with Color Eye 3010 specoophotometer. he activation energy for thermal degradation of the samples increased with increasing the rate of weight loss. The Kim-Park method was found to be more effective analysis in describing thermal degradation of plastic meterials. Plastic materials were very sensitive to ultra-violet rays in faster degradation.

The purpose of this study is to determine the meaning and function of black and white in the comic strip, which are mounted on the book pages. The role of space in comic strip, compared to the role of time in the cinema, enable to feel the role of the time in the book. Therefore storytelling of comic strip has been placed in the inseparable relationship with space. My aim is to think about the black and white meaning in the visual media, especially the use of black and white which is highlighted in the comic strip. Black and white doesn't mean a loss of color in the comic strip but it works around 2 important notions : readability, modernity (with minimalism). In comic strip, 'black and white' is not a true colour but it is complex items which indicate symbolic significances. Moreover it is also a notion which enhance 'existence and absence' and 'visible and invisible'. That's why to analyze and to understand how the space is organized in comic strip page, i chose several examples extract from black and white comic strip.

A mobile phone became the practical necessities of Chinese life that can not be explained without a mobile phone as it is rapidly popularized in China in recent years. As income increases due to economic growth, so did desire to buy better products. And This desire has made consumers in China more concerned about design and consequently leads to artistic design of a mobile phone. And also this trend is getting linked to people's personalisation in that people prefer rather to choose products they like than standardized ones in the middle of a variety of cultural inflows. This study mainly focuses on the development of the characterized mobile phone with a high class brand by use of traditional elements and of design identity of a mobile phone with Chines style that is well harmonized with cultural and personalized identity as consumers' preferences are quite different from each other depending on each country's culture. For this, this study investigates traditional elements such as patterns, colors and characters as well as development and features of the mobile phone design. This will also lead to the development of a mobile phone with traditional elements of China by studying utilization of design with traditional patterns. To do this, the study analyzes to research traditional patterns(Dragon, Phoenix, Peony, Lotus Flower), colors(Red, Yellow, Blue, Black, White) and historical origin and concept of characters. The study also looks into instances and personalisation of mobile phone design by analyzing literatures.

Celebrities form a dominant culture of one era and are cultivating influence to lead new fashion. Domestic women celebrities attending Seoul Fashion Week build their image as a fashion leader by exposing their own fashion aesthetics to the public. This promotes PR and sales of the brand of fashion designers in the collection. This study considers the fashion trends of women celebrities by analyzing the fashion style of women celebrities in Seoul Collection over the recent five years. The results of this study on contents analysis are as follows. First, straight silhouettes, achromatic colors, and an absence of a pattern or decoration comprised a high proportion. Celebrities preferred a modern and minimal style. Second, they preferred a feminine style that shows traditional feminine beauty through slim and princess silhouettes, one-piece dress or skirts, soft materials, and decorations with ruffles. In addition, as a matching jacket on one-piece dresses also appeared, it showed that celebrities attempted to change the chic feminine style with masculine beauty. Third, boxy silhouettes, multi-color mixed with colorful colors, graphic or lettering patterns, glittering materials and lots of details comprised a high proportion. This means celebrities pursue a maximal style that reveals their strong presence as fashion leaders.

As much time is being spent with the family at weekends by the development of leisure culture, many people have begun to enjoy camping in the field. While many people use pensions or camping cars, many families or groups of friends go on camping in the summer holiday season. Although the tent design in this country has gradually been developed, it is not as developed as overseas designs with unique design characteristics according to climate, cultural behavior and colors. In this research, the American and Korea tent designs are compared in terms of color and frame. The differences are analyzed and a direction for tent designs appropriate for Korea in terms of size, area, ease of carriage and installation is proposed through theoretical data and idea sketches. The frame weight has been minimized and the durability increased for the ease of carriage and installation. The style and number of windows have been increased in order to provide a comfortable space by understanding the influx of airflow and the size of the tent has also been increased to provide extra space for storage. The information on the overseas and domestic tent design trends led to a color comparison and the extraction of images of language. The tent based on the new design is currently being mass-produced in China following 3 months of preparation including sample making and testing.

This study is to explore the characteristics and trends of the interior design of the residence area of the cruise ships. The interior of the cruise ships running three Asian countries - Korea, Japan and China was analyzed to understand the design of the public area and the cabin area. The interior of the ships showed the modern, high-tech style with their unique concept. Also, the feeling of the openness was emphasized in two ways- the visual and psychological expression and the spatial application. The contrast of color and the effect of artificial lighting used to express the extended feeling of the closed space inside the cruise ship. The results are expected to contribute to understand the interior design of the worldwide cruise ship and be used as a valuable data for the development of the interior design of the cruise ship.

This paper is to investigate experimentally an effect of carbon amino silica black-superplasticizer(CASB-SP)on the engineering properties and chromaticity of black color concrete with 0.45 of W/C(water to cement). CASB-SP and carbon black were applied for pigment of the concrete. To prevent efflorescence of concrete, four different water repellent agents were also applied. As results, it was found that use of CASB-SP increased the slump and air contents. Furthermore, the use of CASB-SP increased the compressive strength. As CASB-SP dosages increased, chromaticity was well developed. For the effect of water repellent agent, the use of epoxy type was effective for protection from efflorescence. Based on test results, it was evaluated that 0.5% of CASB-SP effectively improve the concrete quality as well as enhance the chromaticity with proper dosage.
