After the advent of the Ubiquitous environment, the movement for effective information management is progressing vividly. According to this situation, this paper conducts individualized context structure for individual service and also suggests 5W1H and HFC modeling which apply using priority to manage vast context data. Thus this modeling will function as a base model to embody Ubiquitous environment and offer context based service.

In this paper, we propose the method configuring social networks among users based on users' context and profile. Recently, many researchers are concerned about social networks related with collaborative systems. In case of the existing researches, however, it is difficult to configure social networks dynamically because they are based on static data types, such as log and profile of users. The proposed method uses not only user profiles but also context reflecting users' behavior dynamically. It computes the similarity among users' behavior contexts using hierarchical structure of context domain knowledge model. And it calculates relationships between contexts by given weight factors of category of context model. In order to verify usefulness of the method, we conduct an experiment on configuring social network according to change of user context. We expect that it makes dynamic analysis of relationship of users possible.

Context-aware technologies for ubiquitous computing are necessary to study the representation of gathered context-information appropriately, the understanding of user's intention using context-information, and the offer of pertinent services for users. In this paper, we propose the WS-CAM(Web Services based Context-Aware Middleware) framework for context-aware computing. WS-CAM provides ample power of expression and inference mechanisms to various context-information using an ontology-based context model. We also consider that WS-CAM is the middleware-independent structure to adopt web services with characteristic of loosely coupling as a matter of communication of context-information. In this paper, we describe a scenario for lecture services based on the ubiquitous computing e e e e e e to verify the utilization of WS-CAM We also show an example of middleware-independent system expansion to display the merits of web-based services. WS-CAM for lecture services represented context-information itodomaits as OWL-based ontology model effectively, and we confirmed the information is inferred to high level context-information by user-defined rules. We also confirmed the context-information is transferred to application services middleware-independently using various web methods provided by web services.

This paper is about our experience of developing a context-aware exhibit guide system called MyGuide by applying Simtext development methodology. In particular, we introduce some issues to be considered in development process, the way that we solved them, and other things related to context. In requirements elicitation phase, we reduced the complexity of requirements by separating business logic requirements and context-awareness related requirements. After that, we modeled context, and designed software architecture, classes, and database in sequence during design phase. We considered system requirements and context modeling issues for context modeling because it influences class and database design.

휴대폰의 사용영역이 넓어지면서 휴대폰에 저장되는 컨텍스트 정보 활용에 관심이 높아지고 있다. 하지만 정보의 양이 방대하기 때문에 개인이 정보를 분석하여 자신에게 필요한 정보로 바꾸기 위해서는 많은 노력이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 휴대폰으로부터 컨텍스트 정보를 수집하여 활용할 수 있는 방법으로 개인이 하루 동안 경험한 일에 대한 정보를 한 눈에 알아볼 수 있도록 도와주는 계층적 이야기 구성 모델을 제안한다. 계층적 이야기 구성 모델은 3단계로 구성된다. 우선 각각의 로그를 분석하여 관련 있는 것들을 그룹으로 분류하고 분류된 그룹 내에서 설정된 경로에 대한 가중치를 계산하여 해당 그룹의 가중치로 저장한다. 마지막으로 그룹간의 경로에 대한 가중치를 계산하여 가장 높은 가중치를 갖는 경로를 한아 이야기 구성 모델로 설정한다. 계층적으로 이야기 경로를 선택한 경우와 그룹으로 분류하지 않고 경로를 계산한 경우의 시간 복잡도를 비교 평가하여 성능을 측정하였다. 이야기 구성모델을 계층적으로 분류했을 때의 성능이 분류하지 않은 경우보다 경로를 선정할 때 더 높은 성능을 나타내었다.

스마트 폰의 사용이 증가하고, 광고, 개인정보를 QRCode에 삽입하여 제공하는 서비스 기술이 이슈가 되면서 프라이버시 침해의 위험 발생이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구는 개인정보 공개등급에 따른 서비스 제공을 위한 스마트폰 환경에서의 규칙기반 컨텍스트 모델링을 제안한다. 제안하는 모델은 스마트 폰 상에서 QRCode 스캔 시, 정보 주체자의 공개등급을 고려하여 등급별 서비스를 제공한다. 사용자는 스마트폰을 통해 QRCode를 스캔한 사용자이다. 공개등급은 개인정보를 사용자에게 보여주는 것에 대한 접근 권한이다. 컨텍스트 모델은 데이터로부터 컨텍스트를 추상화하고, 규칙을 정의하여 QRCode 사용자의 프로파일 정보를 토대로 특정인의 프라이버시 정보를 사용자의 등급에 따라 제공한다. 제안하는 방법은 오프라인 상에서의 학회 정보 서비스 도메인에 적용하여 본 시스템의 정확성을 증명한다.

Context-aware mobile computing has become the primary approach to realize automatic, autonomous, and user-centric computing in the context of largely increasing the amount of mobile devices used that embed available sensors. However, designing an inference engine nonetheless requires the tasks of analyzing contexts, situations that can be inferred, etc. Moreover, a mobile device has limited resources and limited computation capability, which results in recognizing the common sense of its unsuitable environment for processing inference. Hence, we propose context-situation reasoning elements and their formal models in this paper, and we verify the formal models' applicability by applying them to an example. Finally, we design and implement an inference engine that realize the context-situation inference elements in computing environment, and we experiment an example by using the proposed inference engine to verify applicability and reusability of the inference engine.

영상 이해는 컴퓨터 비전의 가장 높은 수준의 처리 기법이다. 영상을 이해하기 위해서는 위치 정보, 물체 존재정보와 같은 기본 컨텍스트들을 추출하는 것이 중요하다. 그러나 실내 환경의 영상 정보는 카메라의 흔들림이나 각도, 빛의 상태에 따라 불확실해지기 때문에 이러한 불확실함에 강인한 영상 인식 기법이 필요하다. 동적 베이지안 네트워크(DBN)는 이러한 불확실한 정보의 처리에 강인하며 장소와 물체의 관계등 고수준의 컨텍스트를 모델링하는데 좋은 성능을 보이는 확률 모델이다. 또한 DBN은 이전 상태를 추론에 활용할 수 있으므로 장소 인식과 같은 컨텍스트의 추출에 좋다. 본 연구에서는 불확실한 실내 환경 영상으로부터 영상 전처리를 통해 특징값을 추출하고, 회전이나 크기 변화에 강인한 물체인식기법인 크기불변 특징 변환기법(SIFT)을 이용하여 물체 존재정보를 추출하여 고수준 컨텍스트가 모델링된 DBN 추론으로 장소 및 물체를 인식하는 방법을 제안한다. 실제 대학 실내 환경에서의 실험으로 DBN을 이용한 영상 인식기법이 좋은 성능을 보임을 확인할 수 있었다.

본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경의 사용자에게 적절한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 필요한 시나리오를 웹 서비스 기반의 워크플로우를 이용하여 편집할 수 있는 uFlow 시나리오 편집기를 소개한다. 시나리오 편집기는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 발생하는 컨텍스트와 이를 이용하는 서비스간의 연관 관계를 구조적 컨텍스트 모델 기반의 서술 방식으로 표현하는 uWDL (Ubiquitous Workflow Description Langauge)을 자동으로 생성하기 위한 도구로서 해당 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 사용 가능한 컨텍스트 및 서비스의 검색과 검색된 컨텍스트 리스트 정보에 따라 워크플로우의 흐름을 결정하기 위한 컨텍스트 표현 기술을 포함하며, 시나리오 개발자가 손쉽게 유비쿼터스 환경을 위한 시나리오를 uWDL 형태로 작성할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 패러다임은 사용자 컨텍스트에 반응하는 컴퓨팅 환경을 구축하는데 있다. 유비쿼터스 환경에서 이상적인 파일 시스템은 현재 컨텍스트를 성공적으로 인식하여 파일관리를 자동화할 수 있는 시스템이다. 유비쿼터스 파일관리에서의 핵심은 휴리스틱(heuristics)에 기반한 클러스터링 방법을 시스템에 적용함에 의해서 수립될 수 있다. 적용된 휴리스틱은 전통적인 파일 시스템에서 파일을 손으로 다루기 위해 사용자에 의해서 파일 속성으로 사용되어졌던 것들이다. 파일 속성은 파일들을 가장 적절한 작업 컨텍스트로 관련짓기 위해서 사용될 수 있고 파일간 관계(inter-file relationship)를 이끌어 낼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 파일 시스템으로부터 주어진 파일 정보를 연결하는 방법에 대해 논의한다. 이 방법은 개별적인 파일보다는 컨텍스트 관련 작업 집합으로서 파일 관리를 가능하게 해 준다. 조사는 규칙적인 컴퓨터 사용자를 대상으로 수행되었으며 집계된 결과는 본 논문에서 제안한 컨텍스트 기반 파일 클러스터링 방법을 지지해 준다. 수행된 실험 결과는 파일 휴리스틱에서 본 논문에서 제안하는 모델이 파일간 의미있는 관계를 찾아주는 효과적인 결과를 보여주게 되었다.
