모바일하버 선박의 계류안정화시스템의 개념 설계

  • 하역장치가 장착된 모바일하버 선박은 새로운 해상운송시스템 개념으로, 임시정박지에서 대형 컨테이너 선박에 계류하여 해상상태 3 이하 조건에서 선박간 해상계류 상태에서 신속하면서 효율적인 컨테이너 하역작업을 수행하는 것이다. 모바일하버와 관련한 주요 연구로는 고속하역시스템, 부유체 구조 설계, 안벽하역시스템 해석 및 작업크레인 설계 둥의 원천 기술 개발을 중심으로 수행되었다. 본 연구는 모바일하버 선박의 하역작업 중 동척 안전성 확보를 위한 계류안정화시스템을 개발하고자 하는 것으로, 국내외 계류장치에 대한 현황 분석을 기초로 현재 선박에 탑재되어 있는 의장장치인 윈치시스템에 계류안정화 기능을 추가시킨 포지셔녕 윈치를 개발하여 모선과의 상대운동을 최소화하는 방안에 대한 개념 설계를 제안한다.

  • In this paper, we compare and analyze the current state of the productivity of the stevedoring work among several container terminals in 1999. Based on these results of analysis, we firstly classify several factors which impede the efficient operations of container terminal as follows ; late arrival of container beyond cargo closing time(CCT), change of port of destination, change of vessel, and return cargo. Such factors are major cause for the cargo rehandling on terminals, thus deteriorate the overall performance of transfer crane during the stevedoring work. In order to improve the productivity of container terminal, we suggest that it is necessary for establishing and operating the efficient logistics management system. Especially, we emphasize the importance of information exchange on the scheduled cargoes among the relevant parties such as shippers, shipping companies, and terminal operators, which is the most effective way to alleviate the cargo rehandling.

  • The automatic Landing system is used for the automatic functions of automatic transfer crane in the automated container terminal. It confirms and adjusts the alignment and pose between spreader and container and accomplishes the automatic loading/unloading job of containers in yard. Specially, it is required in the automated container terminal and is well adapted under the coarse external environments. This system used the laser sensors to recognize the alignment between spreader and container. In this paper the algorithm of recognition of the alignment and pose is presented and the result of its simulation is shown.

  • The purpose of this paper is to describe the design of the decision support system for container terminal ship planning and to introduce the implemented system. The ship planning in container terminals consists of three major decision processes -the working schedule of gantry cranes the discharging sequence of inbound containers the loading position and sequence of outbound containers. For making these decision the proposed system can provide two ship planning modes the interactive planning mode with user-friendly GUI and the automated planning made. To implement the automated planning routine we acquired the planning rules from the expert planner in container terminals and developed an expert system based on the rules. Finally we evaluated the system developed and the potential for commercialization by using container terminal data.

  • The container handling times of automated transfer cranes(ATCs) significantly affect the productivity of container terminals. In this paper, evaluation models for the container handling times of ATCs are suggested for import container blocks with different transfer point configurations. Firstly, evaluation models for various motion times of stacking and retrieving operations of ATC are suggested for two basic alternatives of import container blocks. In addition, in considering the space allocation, evaluation methods for the container handling times of ATC are suggested. Finally, the container handling times for each case are compared with each other in order to analyze how the block shape and the transfer point locations affect the container handling times of ATC.

컨테이너 터미널에서 컨테이너 크레인의 하역능력 추정에 관한 시뮬레이션 연구 (A Simulation Study on Efficiency of Container Crane in Container Terminal)

  • This paper describes the simulation study which estimates the container crane efficiency in container terminal. In most simulation studies, it is assumed that container cranes are available at any time. Though the failures of container cranes don't occur often, they are very serious problems on terminal efficiency. As usual, the failures of container crane cause arrived ships to delay the departure time. In this study, a queueing simulation model for container terminal, which focuses on the failures of container cranes, is designed. The simulation approach appears to be the most appropriate one because it allows to avoid the usual exponential assumption on interarrivals of ships and service times of container cranes. Using the developed model, we tested the efficiency of container cranes considering failures with a real system size and performed the simulation experiment on real container terminal to validate the developed simulation model. The results of simulation experiment were analyzed using output statistics, which include the waiting times of vessels and yard tractors, the utilization for container cranes, and the berth occupancy rates.

  • 컨테이너 터미널은 게이트 시스템, 장치시스템, 이송시스템, 적양하시스템 등의 하부시스템으로 구성되어 있어서 시스템의 최적화가 요구되며, 운영에 있어서도 장비, 인력, 장치장 등 제한된 자원을 효율적으로 사용하는 것이 터미널 경쟁력 강화 측면에서 중요하다. 본 연구는 신항만 개발시 터미널 설계에 사용될 수 있는 시뮬레이션 모형을 제안하는 것이 목적이다. 문헌 조사를 통하여 기존 연구의 한계점을 도출하고 이를 보완하는 시뮬레이션 모형을 설계하고 모형을 개발하였다. 또한 가상의 터미널 개발을 가정하고 일부 모듈을 적용하여 신항만 개발시 요구되는 안벽길이, 안벽 크레인 수, 장치장 규모 등을 도출함으로써 제안된 시뮬레이션 모형의 활용 방안을 소개하였다.

  • Proper fatigue life prediction procedures are needed for mechanical structures which requires high durability and reliability. In this paper, a fatigue life prediction procedure has been developed for predicting fatigue life of moving structure under variable loadings. The developed procedure was efficiently applied for a fatigue life calculation of a container crane. Especially, the procedure is useful for safety assessment by computer simulation. A computer program was developed for fatigue life assessment by adopting the forementioned procedure.

  • In this paper, the container crane which transports containers between a container ship and trucks in the harbor is modeled. The equation of motion is simplified for control purpose. The pole placement technique is used to control the crane to minimize load swing angle The objective of the control is to transfer the load as quickly as possible, while minimizing the amplitude of swing at the end of transfer. Computer simulations are provided.
