  • 최근 감성ICT산업은 성숙기 IT산업을 새롭게 도약시킬 핵심 산업으로 인식되면서 관련 산업계의 주목을 받고 있으며 다양한 분야에 접목되고 있다. 특히, 인간표정을 인식하는 IT기술은 사회적 측면에서 인간중심의 미래생활 패러다임의 변화가 감성이해를 통한 사용자 친화적 솔루션으로 발전하고 있다. 효율적인 경영을 위해 기업은 고객의 요구사항을 정확히 파악하는 것이 중요한데 본 연구에서는 이러한 감성ICT 기술을 이용한 새로운 커뮤니케이션의 사례로서 고객의 감정 중에 특히 얼굴표정을 파악하여 고객중심의 맞춤형 서비스 기능을 제공할 수 있도록 얼굴표정에 의해 호감도를 특정할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이것은 기존의 7개 표정인식 알고리즘을 이용하여 고객만족도를 특정할 수 있도록 한 것이다.

  • 얼굴인식의 인식률 향상과 계산량을 줄이기 위한 방법으로 Curvelet 변환과 (2D)$^2$PCA(Two directional two-dimensional PCA) 를 통한 특징추출 및 차원축소 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 Wavelet 변환과 PCA 를 통한 기법들이 소개되어 인식률 향상을 이끌어 냈다. 그런데 Curvelet Transform 은 곡선의 정보를 효과적으로 표현할 수 있는 장점이 있고, (2D)$^2$PCA 는 PCA 에 비해 계산량이 적은 장점이 있기 때문에 이를 이용하여 인식률과 처리성능 측면에서 개선된 결과를 얻고자 한다.

  • With the advance of ICT, the necessity of user authentication to verify the identity of an opponent online not face to face is increasing. The authentication, the basis of the security, is used in various fields. Because ID-based authentication has weaknesses in terms of stability and losses, two or more than two authentication tools are used in the place in which the security is important. Recently, biometric authentication rather than ID, OTP, SMS authentication has been an issue in terms of credibility and efficiency. As the fields applied to current biometric recognition technologies are increasing, the application of the biometric recognition is being used in various fields such as mobile payment system, intelligent CCTV, immigration inspection, and access control. As the biometric recognition, finger print, iris, retina, vein, and face recognition have been studied actively. This study is to inspect the current state of domestic and foreign standardization including understanding of the face recognition and the trend of technology.

  • 새로운 기술과 문명의 출현에는 이로 인한 생활편익과 더불어 다양한 역기능이 수반된다. 이를테면 유전공학은 생명연장의 꿈을 실현시킬 수 있겠지만 인간의 존엄성을 훼손하는 부정적인 측면을 지니고 있다. 오늘날 정보통신기술에 의한 인터넷 역시 지식정보를 무한정 얻을 수 있으나 컴퓨터 바이러스, 사이버 범죄 등으로 피해를 당하기 쉽다. 공업화에 따른 환경오염의 전철을 교훈삼아 정보화 초기부터 다양한 역기능에 미리 대처해야 미래에 발생할 수 있는 사회적 비용을 크게 줄일 수 있다.

  • 과거 우리나라의 부엌은 주부의 노동공간으로 여겨져 왔지만 현대에 와서는 주방의 기능적 측면이 충분히 반영되어 적극적인 서비스 공간으로 인식되고 있다. 또 핵가족 시대의 가족유대를 도모할 수 있는 공간으로 변화하고 있다. 한 가족이라 하더라도 각자 다른 생활패턴을 가지고 있어 가족구성원이 서로 얼굴을 대할 수 있는 시간은 식사시간 정도가 전부일 것이다. 따라서 주방은 조리 휴식 대화의 복합기능을 수행할 수 있는 기능성 편의성 안락함을 지닌 공간이 되고 있다. 최근에는 주방이 식사와 더불어 가족들간의 자연스런 대화를 가능하게 하는 생활중심공간이라고 여겨지고 있으며, 아울러 주방을 하나의 '문화공간'으로 간주하기도 하여 주택의 내부와 조화를 이루는 주방인테리어의 필요성이 대두되고 있다.

  • e-Learning education system as the next educational trend supporting remote and multimedia education. However, the students stay mainly at remote place and it is hard to certificate whether he is really studying now or not. To solve this problem, some solutions were proposed such as instructor's supervision by real time motion picture or message exchanging. Unhappily, as you can see, it needs much cost to establish the motion exchanging system and trampling upon human rights could occasion to reduce the student's will. Accordingly, we propose the new intelligent system based on face recognition to reduce the system cost. The e-Learning system running on the web page can check the student's status by motion image, and the images transfer to the instructor. For this study, 20 students and one instructor takes part in capturing and recognizing the face images. And the result produces the prevention the leave of students from lecture and improvement of attention.

  • In modern times, many IoT products are being used as all things and devices are connected to the Internet and IoT products become easily accessible through the network. For the convenience of users, IoT products can be remotely operated automatically without manual operation. Various research and development are underway to improve the convenience of users by using IoT products. However, since only the convenience of the users is pursued, in terms of security, there is a serious problem that exposes the user's personal information. This paper has proposed a method to apply $moir{\acute{e}}$ technology to IoT products in order to improve the performance of security, and a method to increase the safety of IoT products using user face authentication based on shadow $moir{\acute{e}}$ as a $moir{\acute{e}}$ phenomenon method, and the projection $moir{\acute{e}}$. When comparing the existing IoT products and IoT products applied with $moir{\acute{e}}$ technology, IoT products applied with $moir{\acute{e}}$ technology are safer in terms of security.

Efficient Emotional Relaxation Framework with Anisotropic Features Based Dijkstra Algorithm

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient emotional relaxation framework using Dijkstra algorithm based on anisotropic features. Emotional relaxation is as important as emotional analysis. This is a framework that can automatically alleviate the person's depression or loneliness. This is very important for HCI (Human-Computer Interaction). In this paper, 1) Emotion value changing from facial expression is calculated using Microsoft's Emotion API, 2) Using these differences in emotion values, we recognize abnormal feelings such as depression or loneliness. 3) Finally, emotional mesh based matching process considering the emotional histogram and anisotropic characteristics is proposed, which suggests emotional relaxation to the user. In this paper, we propose a system which can recognize the change of emotion easily by using face image and train personal emotion by emotion relaxation.

A New Confidence Measure for Eye Detection Using Pixel Selection (눈 검출에서의 픽셀 선택을 이용한 신뢰 척도)

  • In this paper, we propose a new confidence measure using pixel selection for eye detection and design a hybrid eye detector. For this, we produce sub-images by applying a pixel selection method to the eye patches and construct the BDA(Biased Discriminant Analysis) feature space for measuring the confidence of the eye detection results. For a hybrid eye detector, we select HFED(Haar-like Feature based Eye Detector) and MFED(MCT Feature based Eye Detector), which are complementary to each other, as basic detectors. For a given image, each basic detector conducts eye detection and the confidence of each result is estimated in the BDA feature space by calculating the distances between the produced eye patches and the mean of positive samples in the training set. Then, the result with higher confidence is adopted as the final eye detection result and is used to the face alignment process for face recognition. The experimental results for various face databases show that the proposed method performs more accurate eye detection and consequently results in better face recognition performance compared with other methods.

Face Recognition on complex backgrounds using Neural Network (복잡한 배경에서 신경망을 이용한 얼굴인식)

  • Detecting faces in images with complex backgrounds is a difficult task. Our approach, which obtains state of the art results, is based on a generative neural network model: the Constrained Generative Model (CGM). To detect side view faces and to decrease the number of false alarms, a conditional mixture of networks is used. To decrease the computational time cost, a fast search algorithm is proposed. The level of performance reached, in terms of detection accuracy and processing time, allows to apply this detector to a real word application: the indexation of face images on the Web.
