This study was conducted to determine the effects of growth regulators, temperature, and light on the germination of Chwinamul(Aster scaber, Aster tataricus, Synurus deltoides, Solidago virga-aurea var. asiatica, Ligularia fisheri) seeds. Compared to GA, IAA, and kinetin, BA (150ppm) stimulated best seed germination of all five species under the both light and dark condition at $25^{\circ}C$. The effect of growth regulators was not observed significantly under the light condition except of Ligularia fisheri and Synurus deltoides while it was shown markedly under the dark condition. Germination rates of Ligularia fisheri and Synurus deltoides in different concentration of BA were relatively higher under the light at $15^{\circ}C$ while those of other species varied in different concentration and temperature.

The purpose of this study was to investigate sensory and mechanical characteristics of Surichwi-injeulmi by adding Surichwi contents. According to sensory evaluation of Surichwi-injeulmi, the acceptance was the best in the color, flavor and overall quality when adding 20% Surichwi. As the additional ratio of Surichwi was increased, the lightness and yellowness were decreased, however, the redness was negatively increased. As a results of textural analysis of Surichwi-injeulmi by adding Surichwi contents in storing at 20$\^{C}$, the hardness, chewiness, gumminess and cohesiveness were decreased with the increased by adding Surichwi contents. The hardness, chewiness, gumminess and cohesiveness were decreased by increased storage time, whereas the elasticity was increased. Textural characteristics of Surichwi-injeulmi added 30% and 40% Surichwi in storing at 20$\^{C}$ showed less change than those of 0 and 10% group.

Saussurea taquetii reported from Jejudo Island is either treated as a synonym of S. japonica or is recognized as a distinct taxon. Saussurea japonica and S. pulchella belong to the sect. Theodorea by having peculiar outer phyllaries with pale purplish scarious apical appendages; they are closely related to each other morphologically and are known to occur widely throughout the Korean Peninsula. To assess the taxonomic status of S. taquetii, we investigated representative populations of S. taquetii from jejudo Island, Korea, and S. japonica from Kyushu in Japan. We conducted a comparative study morphologically using specimens of three species from KH, CNU, and TI. Saussurea taquetii is very similar morphologically and ecologically to S. japonica in Kyushu. Unlike previous floristic treatments, we concluded that the two taxa, S. pulchella and S. taquetii, occur on the Korean Peninsula and on jejudo Island, respectively.

초대 이승만 대통령으로부터 제18대 박근혜 대통령 취임사를 네트워크 기반으로 분석하였다. 연합뉴스에서 제공하는 데이터베이스는 역대 대통령 취임사 단어구름으로 보여줌으로써 키워드를 파악할 수 있도록 하였다. 이 경우 특정 단어의 등장 횟수에 비례하여 중심 단어를 찾아주기 때문에 취임사 전체에 흐르는 문맥이나 대통령의 의중을 반영하지 못한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 본 연구에서 18개 대통령 취임사에 등장하는 키워드 네트워크를 구축하였다. 네트워크상에서 허브(hub)에 해당하는 단어를 연결하면 대통령의 의도나 통치 방향을 파악할 수 있다. 대한민국의 18개 대통령 취임사는 네트워크의 동적 변화를 분석할 수 있는 좋은 자료다. 초대 취임사 네트워크에 두 번째 취임사 네트워크를 추가하여 점진적으로 확장되는 네트워크를 구축하여 동적변화를 분석하였다. 네트워크 동적 분석 결과는 시대의 흐름에 따른 대통령 통치 방향과 변화가 담겨져 있기에 대한민국 현대사 흐름을 파악하는데 기여하는 것으로 나타났다. 이제 복잡계를 이해하는 방법의 하나인 네트워크에 관한 연구는 사회현상, 자연현상, 생명현상을 넘어서 대통령 취임사에 이르기까지 다양한 영역에 함축된 복잡한 현상을 이해하려는 시도에 방법론적 실마리를 제공하고 있다.

한국코닥(주) 이수범 대표이사는 지난 1월 5일 서울 상암동에 위치한 본사 회의실에서 취임 이후 첫 기자 간담회를 갖고 대표 취임소감을 비롯, 신년 계획, 국내 시장에 대한 견해 등을 밝혔다. 다소 늦은 취임 3개월여 만에 공식적으로 언론에 모습을 드러낸 이 대표는 시종일관 자신감 넘치는 모습으로 다양한 사안에 대한 의견을 피력했다. 간담회의 주요 내용을 소개한다.

Transglutaminase (TGase), which forms linkages among proteins, has been used to improve food quality. In the current study, quality characteristics such as color values, texture profile parameters, and sensory profiles of the frozen surichwi (Synurus deltoids) rice cake made using transglutaminase (TGase) treated-rice flour were investigated, with a view to producing high-value rice products. The results indicate that Hunter color values (L and b) and TPA parameter values (hardness, gumminess and chewiness) of frozen surichwi rice cake made with TGase-treated rice flour were significantly changed, and that these properties may be applied to improve the sensory qualities of final products. Also, the sensory acceptability scores related to color, appearance, taste and texture, as well as overall acceptability of the TGase-treated frozen surichwi rice cake, were found to be significantly higher compared to controls. In conclusion, the results clearly indicate that TGase-treated rice flour carries the potential to improve the overall quality of frozen rice cake, and that surichwi is an effective ingredient for sensory profiles.

Hardness and elasticity for SurichwijuIPyun(Korean rice cake supplemented with Surichwi) made with various levels of Surichwi(O∼40%) boiled in 1% sodium bicarbonate added water were decreased by increasing additional rate of Surichwi, but adhesiveness and cohesiveness didn't show constant increase or decrease. Guminess and chewiness showed significant differences by decreasing additional rate of Surichwi. As a results of sensory evaluation of Surichwiiulpyun, Julpyun supplemented with 20fs Surichwi showed the most favorite tendency in color, flavor and overall acceptability. Textural characteristics of Surichwijulpyun supplemented with 20 and 30% Surichwi in storing at 20$^{\circ}C$ showed less change than those of 0 and loft group. Gumminess and chewiness showed similar trend to hardness, and there were significant differences in additional rate of Surichwi and storage time.

This study handled underachievement issue of gifted students by developing and validating educational programs as a solution, or relief, of their academic underachievement problems. The proposed educational program was designed to enhancing reading comprehension ability of gifted students with underachievement. Based on comprehensive literature review, this study found that key issues of underachievement have to do with learning strategy, and also that learning strategy was established as 'reading comprehension strategy.' Considering diverse reading comprehension models and strategies suggested by preceding studies, the reading comprehension strategy program in Korean was customized for underachieving gifted students on the middle school level. The effectiveness of the reading comprehension strategy program as a solution to underachievement of gifted students was explored by applying the developed program to 36 identified students after school twice a week for 6 weeks, conducting pre- and post-tests that were selected to measure their reading comprehension abilities, collecting their academic achievement data before and after the intervention by this study, and interviewing students. As the results of this study, reading metacognition ability, reading comprehension skills, and school grades of gifted students with underachievement were meaningfully improved as a group. On the individual level, 12 identified students, exactly one third of the whole group of underachieving gifted students, showed so improved academic achievement as we can say they overcame underachievement based on the Supplee's definition.

This study examines the sustaining power of program effects of Reading Comprehensive Strategy Program, for underachieving gifted students in middle schools, which was developed and applied by Choi(2015). The study was a kind of follow up study of Choi(2015) as this study traced and collected all data from the same samples that Choi(2015) used since Choi(2015) stopped his program and data collection from 31 participants for 9 to 12 months. As the results, Among 11 subjects, who overcome underachievement through Choi(2015)'s Reading Comprehensive Strategy Program, 5 subjects could consistently maintained their performance level. However, 3 subjects could not maintain their performance and went back to the underachieving level, and another 3 showed instability as they went up and down around the border line. And among 20 subjects, who could not help the underachieving level through Choi(2015)'s program, 5 subjects could reach the achieving level. But 15 subjects still remained in their underachieving level. In conclusion, we may say that at least 16.1%(5 among 31) of underachieving gifed students could overcome their underachiving issue by Choi(2015)'s program even in the most pessimistic view, and 51.6%(16 amoung 3) in the most optimistic view. After all, at least about 50% cases could not be explained only by cognitive factors such as absence of reading comprehensive strategy. We suggest that we should handle the underachieving issues of gifted students by more comprehensive approaches.

In this research, The new CEO is expected to increase a reporting income through earning management for individual benefit such as a good reputation, high compensation and CEO' s contract extension in the early years of service, of which may influence value relevance of the accounting numbers. We investigate the change of value relevance from 2004 to 2014, compare firms with a change of CEO and firms with non-change of CEO and analysis the value relevance in the early years and in the late years of the new CEO. The results of research are as follows. First, value relevance of EPS of firms with change of CEO are decreased, whereas value relevance of BPS are increased in the regression of all sample. Second, value relevance of EPS are decreased, whereas value relevance of BPS are increased in the early years of the new CEO. This research makes a contribution to provide the first proof about influence of value relevance by the earning management in the early years of the new CEO in Korea.
