Numerical Analysis on Effective Countermeasure for Ground Subsidence due to Mining Hazard (광해로 인한 지반침하의 효율적인 보강방안에 관한 수치해석)

  • When the structure such as roadway, railway are constructed on abandoned coal mine area, the countermeasure to prevent settlements is necessary. In this study, numerical analyses are performed to evaluate the effect of the various countermeasures. As a results, the method which is filling the coal mine is more effective than that of reinforcing the ground above the coal mine. The ground settlement decreases hyperbolically with increasing the filling ratio of the coal mine. Also, the relationship between the filling ratio and the settlement reduction ratio is discussed precisely.

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 EV/PHEV(전기자동차 및 하이브리드전기자동차)용으로 주목 받고 있는 리튬 이온 이차전지의 충전 알고리즘들 중에서 펄스(Pulse) 충전 알고리즘과 가변 주파수 펄스 충전 알고리즘을 CC/CV(정전류/정전압) 충전 알고리즘과 충전시간과 안정도, 전지 수명 부분에서 비교 및 분석한다. 그 결과 제시되는 펄스 충전 알고리즘의 장점을 기존의 결과론적인 분석에서 나아가 전기적, 화학적 근거를 통해 정성적으로 분석한다.

Prediction of Temperature Distribution to Evaluate Axial Strength of Unprotected Concrete-filled Steel Tubular Columns under Fire (화재 시 무피복 CFT 기둥의 축강도 평가를 위한 단면온도분포 예측기법의 개발)

  • A simple but accurate analytical method to evaluate the fire resistance of unprotected concrete filled tubular (CFT) columns under standard fire condition is proposed based on the fire design framework of EC4. To this end, the accuracy of the current tabulation method for the temperature prediction proposed by Lawson et al. was first critically evaluated, and a new prediction equation for the temperature gradient across the CFT section was then proposed based on available test and finite element analysis results. Overall, the axial strength predicted by using the proposed equation under the general fire design framework of EC4 was more accurate than that based on existing methods and appeared reasonable for design purposes. The results of this study are directly usable for the more rational fire analysis and design of unprotected CFT columns.

  • Concrete filled steel tube(CFT), which has superior ductility and strength, is used for building column, bridge piers of ocean structure. Shear design equations of CFT existing in structural design provisions are excessively conservative. It has an effect on constructability and the economics of CFT. However, to suggest the reasonable shear design equation, experimental studies on the shear capacity of CFT have been rarely conducted. This study is analytical research to suggest improved shear design equations of large-diameter concrete-filled steel tubes. This analytical research was conducted to apply finite element analysis model of CFT based on the prior research. It was verified by comparison with prior test results. The verified model was used for parameter studies to estimate the influence of overhang length, concrete compressive strength and diameter-thickness ratio on shear strength.

  • The use of Concrete filled circular hollow steel section (CFCHS) members in bridge design is a relatively new concept. The most important part of the design and durability of such structures is the design and the construction of the joints. In the design of recently constructed steel-concrete composite bridges using CFCHS truss girders for the main load carrying structure, the fatigue verification of the tubular spatial truss joints was a main issue. Welded CFCHS joints are very sensitive to fatigue because the geometric discontinuities of the welds lead to a high stress concentration. New research done on the fatigue behaviour of such joints has focused on CFCHS N-joints, directly welded, with finite element analysis method. A commercial software, ABAQUS, is adopted to perform the finite element analysis on the N-joints. This paper is main focused on these topics, including hot spot stress.

Designing Mold Feed Systems for Plug Cover Housing with Filling Analysis (충전해석에 의한 Plug Cover Housing 금형의 피드시스템 설계)

  • In this study, the optimum design of mold feed systems is determined for plug cover housing (PCH), which is a cover-assembly product that protects the wiring of automobile connectors. The design goal is to achieve the filling balance of the resin in the left and right covers while avoiding the occurrence of weld lines in the hinge as much as possible. For the optimization, an orthogonal array experiment and a main effect analysis of the design factors are performed, and the factors that cause the interactions with the two design characteristics are selected as the design variables. We present some design alternatives, i.e., some combinations of the design variables, and analyze the filling-simulation results, expected molding risk, and cost economics to select an optimum design solution among the design alternatives. In the optimal solution, the weld line is generated at a position outside the hinge, and the filling balance is also acceptable, showing that both design goals can be satisfied simultaneously despite conflicting with each other.

  • 사출성형은 열가소성수지의 가공법으로써 정밀도나 고품질의 제품을 효과적으로 생산하는데 널리 이용되며 플라스틱은 현재 광범위하게 사용되고 있는 공업재료 중의 하나이다. 과거에는 플라스틱을 일회용품 및 외장재로 사용하였다. 그러나 산업기술이 발전하며 플라스틱은 금속을 대체 할 수 있는 재료로서 사용할 수 있다는 인식의 변화로 점차 기계요소용 재료로 사용되고 있으며 기계요소용 재료로 사용됨에 따라 플라스틱 제품이 정밀한 부품으로 사용되기 위해서는 금형의 가공뿐만 아니라 사출성형 시 용융수지가 금형의 각 캐비티에 균형적으로 충전되는것이 요구된다. 이러한 요구조건을 만족하기 위해서는 각 캐비티의 가공치수는 매우 높은 정밀도를 유지해야 하며, 각 캐비티에서의 충전과 냉각도 동일한 상태를 유지해야 한다. 충전 불균형은 성형품의 품질에 큰 저해 요인으로서 플라스틱 제품의 치수성, 밀도, 외관품질, 강도 등에 불균일한 결과를 가져오는 요인으로 지적되고 있다. 실제로 충전 불균형은 충전 단계에서 런너 내에서 발생하는 불균일한 전단분포에 기인하여 발생되므로 점도변화에 영향을 주는 수지의 물성, 런너의 배열과 같은 외부 요인과 사출압력, 사출속도, 수지온도, 금형온도와 같은 성형공정 조건에 의한 요인에 의한 충전 불균형의 양상이 달라지게 된다. 본 연구는 다수 캐비티 금형에서 충전 불균형 현상에 대한 원인을 검토하고 실제로 사출성형을 실시하기 전 사출성형해석 소프트웨어를 이용하여 시뮬레이션을 하여 다수 캐비티에 대한 충전 패턴을 미리 예측하여 보았다.

  • The anisotropy caused by the fiber orientation, which is inevitably generated by the flow during injection molding of short fiber reinforced polymers, greatly influences dimensional accuracy, mechanical properties, and other quality of the final product. Since the filling stage of the injection molding process plays a vital role in determining fiber orientation, an accurate analysis of flow field for the filling stage is needed. Unbalanced filling occurs when a complex or a multi-cavity mold is used leading to development of regions where the fiber suspension is under compression. It is impossible to make an accurate calculation of the flow field during filling with the analysis assuming incompressible fluid. A mold with four cavities with different filling times was produced to compare the numerical analysis results with the experimental data. There was a good agreement between the experimental and theoretical results when the compressibility of the polymer melt was considered for the numerical simulation. The fiber orientation states for compressible and incompressible fluids were also compared qualitatively as well as quantitatively in this study.

  • 본 논문에서는 전기 자동차 탑재형 충전기 모듈에 대하여 설명한다. 기존의 충전기와는 달리 저압 충전부를 겸비하고 있어 저압 배터리도 동시에 충전시킬 수 있는 절연형 3.3kW 충전기 모듈이다. 전기 자동차 탑재형으로 온도와 진동에 강한 전장용 부품을 사용하여 주요 하드웨어를 구성하였으며, 유로해석 및 PCB진동해석을 통해 외부 온도변화와 진동에 강인하도록 설계하였다.

  • 본 논문은 계통 전원 정전 시 계통 전원을 대신하여 전력을 엘리베이터 구동 시스템에 공급함으로써 정전으로 기동이 정지된 엘리베이터 내부에 고립된 승객에 대한 비상구출 운전을 실시하는 자동 비상 구출 운전 시스템의 축전지 충전 회로에 관한 Simulink 및 PSpice 연동 해석 모델 개발을 실시한다.
