Ingested Foreign Body Trapped in the Appendix: A Case Report (충수에서 발견된 섭취된 이물질 1예)

  • Foreign body ingestion is a frequent event in the pediatric age group, but the incidence of foreign bodies in the appendix is very low. The authors report a case of ingested foreign body trapped in the appendix in a 7-year-old girl. The foreign body was successfully treated by laparoscopic appendectomy under fluoroscopic guidance.

  • We have designed and fabricated a thermal scanning electron microscopy. It includes an electron source, two condenser lenses, one objective lens, a scanning coil and a stigmator coil for focusing in column and also have a secondary electron detector for constructing the image in chamber with a high vacuum condition and control part for operating the SEM. Especially, in order for us to find out the optical characteristics, our attention and studies have been concentrated on the effects of two condenser lenses and one objective lens for high resolution with SEM. Finally, we developed a high resolution thermal scanning electron microscopy.

  • A field emission electron gun including 3 electrodes including one cathode and two anodes is very important for high resolution electron microscope. To have functions to control the initially-emitted electron beam, two anodes act as an electrostatic lens according to equipotential lines by adjusting the spot size, intensity, and working distance. To verify the action of the electron beam by the electrostatic lens by changing several parameters such as electrode shape, displacement and applied voltage to the electrodes, the two lenses were design and simulated and then their performances were analyzed with angular beam intensity(distribution), electrical optic axis variation and their stability.

  • Recently in manufacturing environment, manufacturing order is characterized by unstable market demand, shorter product life cycle, a variety of product and shorter production lead time. In order to adapt this manufacturing order, flexible manufacturing system(FMS) in manufacturing technology advances into the direction that machines become further versatile functionally and that tools are controlled by fast tool delivery device. Unlike conventional FMS to mainly focus on part flow, it is important to control tool flow in single-stage multimachine systems(SSMS), consisting of versatile machines and fast tool delivery device. In this paper, in SSMS under dynamic tool allocation strategy to share tools among machines, we propose real-time part release and tool allocation algorithms which can apply real factory and which can improve system performance.

  • Recently, The business environment is very rapidly changed and complicated. Therefore, the companies are confront with the biggest difficulty. To overcome this difficulty, the management should be able to accomplish the human resources management and the efficient business management. Korea railroad industry has a close association with national life as it carries out public works based on its public nature as well as purses the corporate spirit. For that reason, Korea railroad industry has a great spin-off on national economy and exerts a tremendous impact on the improvement of productivity around the industries and the international competitiveness at aspect of efficiency resulting from business rationalization. Railroad system can be described as organic. Railroad Employs take a great role in this system. According the psychology and the Organization Behavior, the decision maker's personality and employee' work satisfaction have influence on performance. The purpose of this study is to examine the Railroad Employs' Personality and Work satisfaction which influence on the efficient business management.

  • Laser texturing process for the strip casting-roll is investigated and is realized using PC system and Argon Ion Laser. This laser system can imprint any dimple of patterns on the roll-surface with the resolution of ${\mu}m$ unit.

  • This paper presents a new approach for assessing the dynamic reliability in a complex system such as a nuclear power plant. The method is applied to a dynamic analysis of the potential accident sequences which may occur during mid-loop operation. Mid-loop operation is defined as an operation to make RCS water level below the top of the flow area of the hot legs at the junction with the reactor vessel for repairs and maintenance of steam generators and reactor coolant pumps for a specific time. The Idea behind this approach consists of both the use of the concept of the performance achievement/requirement correlation and of a dynamic event tree generation method. The assessment of the system reliability depends on the determination of both the required performance distribution and the achieved performance distribution. The quantified correlation between requirement and achievement represents a comparison between two competing variables. It is demonstrated that this method is easily applicable and flexible in that it can be applied to any kind of dynamic reliability problem.

  • XML은 데이터 교환을 위한 표준으로서 데이터를 효과적으로 조직하고 표현 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 XML 데이터를 무선방송하기위한 스트림을 생성하는 시뮬레이션 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 구현한 시스템은 서버 모듈과 클라이언트 모듈로 구성되는데 서버 모듈은 XML 데이터에 대하여 스트림을 생성하는 역할을 하고 클라이언트 모듈은 생성된 스트링에 대해서 질의를 수행하고 생성된 스트림으로부터 XML 데이터를 복구하는 역할을 한다. 질의 수행에 대한 결과로 결과 XML 데이터가 출력되고 성능 평가요소로 질의를 수행하는 동안 걸린 수행시간을 측정할 수 있다.

  • 사용자 고유의 공정설계 노하우는 설계 도면정보에서 가공정보로의 변환의 일관성 유지를 어렵게 하고 또한 그 기술획득에 많은 시간을 필요로 한다. 가공방법과 가공기계가 결정된 후, 세부 작업내용, 작업순서, 절삭공구, 절삭조건, 공수 등을 결정하는 밀링 작업계획 모듈을 공작기계 부품을 대상으로 개발하였다. 설계 도면정보를 특징형상에 따라 입력하여 최적절삭조건 모듈 및 I/MILL 상용 프로그램의 도움을 받아 작업지시서와 NC 프로그램을 출력한다. 특징형상을 중심으로 작업계획 생산정보의 입/출력 내용과 작업계획 항목을 결정하는 본 시스템 개발을 통해 생산정보 통합 기술에 대한 이해를 기대한다.

  • 레이저를 이용한 속도측정은 비접촉식 정밀측정이라는 장점 때문에 산업현장의 생산라인에서 온-라인 계측장비로 이용되고 있다. 특히, 철강업에서는 각종 설비의 제어를 위한 속도측정이나 연신률 측정 및 길이측정에 활용되고 있으며 제지분야나 고무생산 현장에서도 계측장비로 활용성이 점점 높아지고 있다. 본 연구는 레이저를 이용하여 비접촉식 속도계(Laser Doppler Velocimeter; LDV)를 제작하고 특성을 연구하였다. 기본 원리는 두 개의 레이저 빔을 측정대상의 한 지점에 입사시키고 이 지점에서 산란된 빛의 세기를 광검지기로 측정한 후 광검지기 출력의 주파수를 분석하여 측정대상의 속도를 산출하는 방법으로 두 개의 레이저 빔의 주파수가 같은 homodyne type과 주파수가 다른 heterodyne type으로 나누어지고 있다. Heterodyne type의 LDV 시스템은 속도값과 함께 측정대상의 이동방향을 알 수 있고, 측정신호가 고주파 대역에 있으므로 레이저의 불안정성이나 전원잡음 등에 의한 저주파 잡음을 용이하게 제거할 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. (중략)
