The research is basically designed to reveal a revisiting behavior for Chung Nam Dae which is inherently characterized sightseeing site. Distributional lag model is tentatively employed to analyze economic factors such as entrance fee and a different level of income. Empirical findings investigate that the revisiting behavior that is associated with a long run effect is more closely connected to the level of national income, but not the level of incomes in Chung Cheong region and Chung Buk province as well. As far as revisiting intention concerns, the entrance fee tends to affect to it by a shorter distributional lag, but the level of income affects to it by way of a pretty much longer distributional lags. To this end, perceived value for Chung Nam Dae should be exposed in order to induce a re-visitor. Such a goal could be attainable by taking care of its system for entrance fee, expanding facilities, re-branding, service improvement, and developing useful programs. Also, setting up an inter-connected networking system with a sightseeing site around is highly recommended.

To increase the synergies of rural experience tourism and overcome the limitations rural tourism are study. A basic cooperative model and theme model have been set up and comprehensive cooperative tourism model has been offered. In order to the development of model example, experience resources has been investigated and problems and features for 7 rural experience tourism villages of Cheongwon have been identified. The basic cooperative model has been selected main line and part hub type. The theme model has been separated nature experience, history and character experience, traditional culture and theme experience, agriculture and rural area experience. Based on this, The thematic cooperative tourism model and the comprehensive cooperative tourism model, its a schedule have been exemplified.

Purpose - The purpose of current study is to investigate the determinants of quality of life in Chungbuk province using Korean longitudinal study aging data. Design/methodology/approach - This study used quality of life and perceived healthiness as the dependent variables. This study selected perceived healthiness, economic participation, annual travel frequency, religion, and fellowship as the independent variables to account for quality of life. For the data analysis, this study implemented econometric analysis, which includes ordinary least square, one-way fixed effect, and feasible generalized least square. Findings - Perceived healthiness positively affected quality of life. Also, quality of life is positively influenced by economic participation and annual travel frequency. However, religion and fellowship appeared as non-significant attribute to account for quality of life. The results also present that perceived healthiness is positively influenced by economic participation, annual travel frequency, and fellowship. Research implications or Originality - Given the results, this offers the implication for the senior citizen welfare policy. This study also produced policy implication for local community.

The objectives of this study are: (1) to compare the satisfaction level between local residents and visitors regarding Jechon Medicinal-Herb Festivals ; (2) to examine methods to improve visitor satisfaction levels concerning Medicinal-Herb Festivals ; and (3) to make proposals to Festival organizers with regarding to developing successful Jechon Medicinal-Herb Festivals. The results from the study are as follows. Firstly, local visitor satisfaction levels were higher than other domestic visitors. Second, festival visitors enjoyed experiencing to the traditional medicine with which they are familiar. So it is necessary to develop more experience programs to increase visitor satisfaction levels. Finally, visitors were more satisfied with their tour when accompanied by guides who were explaining a traditional Medicinal Herb. It suggests that the more knowledgeable guides of traditional medicine, the higher resultant satisfaction levels. The importance of the role of a guide in the festival was reexamined throughout this study.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of a life cycle of a theme park through looking at Everland in Yongin, Korea. The life cycle of Everland is divided into four stages. In "initial development" stage(1976 - the mid-80's), Everland become inclined the characteristics of an amusement park by constructing the amusement facilities in the Flower Center(botanical garden). In "growth" stage(the mid-80's - the early 90's), Everland had full grown to the amusement park and inclined to a theme park. In "maturity" stage(the early 90's - the mid-90's), many visitors were not motivated to re-visit Everland because the facilities and events did not change often. Therefore, Everland makes plans for multiple theme park. In "rejuvenation" stage(after the mid-90's), Everland has practiced the plans for multiple theme park and has become the family and accommodating-oriented theme resort park. Since 1976 when Everland was opened, it has evolved from an amusement park to a theme park by creating various and continuous innovations in facilities and events.

현존하는 세계 최고의 금속활자본인 직지심체요절의 문화적 자산가치는 8694억원이라는 조사결과가 나왔다. 충북개발연구원(원장 이태열)은 최근 '직지의 가치추정 및 활용방안'이라는 연구보고서를 통해 "비시장 재화에 대한 화폐가치를 평가하는 조건부 가치측정(CVM) 방식으로 직지의 가치를 조사한 결과 이같이 추정됐다"고 밝혔다. 조건부 가치측정이란 환경과 문화, 관광자원 등 거래가 되지 않는 재화에 대한 가치를 평가하는 방법 중 하나로, 이번 조사에 제시된 조건은 '직지의 보전 및 세계화에 부담금을 낸다면 얼마를 낼 용의가 있는가'였다. 전국 340여명의 표본조사 응답자들은 이 질문에 44.4%(151명)가 '부담 의사있다'고 답변했고, 부담금은 5년간 매년 1만840원이 적정할 것이라고 말했다. 연구원 측은 이를 근거로 전국 가구 수에 적용할 경우 직지의 문화적 총자산가치는 8694억원에 달할 것으로 추정했다. 다음은 이번 보고서의 주요 내용을 요약한 것이다.
