In this review, we examine the latest technological developments in the utilization of truffles, a gourmet ingredient reputed to be one of the "world's three greatest delicacies," considering changing global consumption trends. Global demand for truffles is expected to increase steadily, with an average annual growth rate of 8.9% from 2023 to 2030. As truffles are expensive, the demand for truffles is expected to be concentrated in developed countries such as the United States, European countries, and Japan. In Korea, truffles are utilized in various industries, including food, functional foods, and cosmetics. Korean consumer demand for truffles has consistently remained high since 2019, and truffle products have been performing well in the market. Consequently, there exists substantial potential demand for newly developed truffle-related products and technologies. This review aims to provide objective research information through the systematic analysis of patent applications in Korea and internationally, focusing on technologies involving truffles, and can aid in setting directions for research and development.

본 고는 앞으로 자주 사용하게 될 PCT 국제특허 출원제도를 소개하여 이를 활성화하고자 작성하였다. 국제출원의 개요를 설명하고 PCT 출원 처리절차 특히 국제조사, 국제공개, 국제예비심사까지의 일련의 과정을 설명하여 연구원들의 이해를 높이고 장단점을 비교하여 어떻게 이 제도를 사용할 것인지를 설명하였다.

본고에서는 한국을 비롯하여 미국, 일본, 유럽의 최근 빅데이터 특허시장을 분석하였다. 분석결과 빅데이터 특허시장은 미국이 세계시장을 독과점하는 구조로 나타났다. 전 세계적으로 가장 활발한 특허 활동을 전개하고 있는 미국 특허를 대상으로 빅데이터 연구개발 트렌드를 조망해 보면 과거에는 다수 기업들에 의하여 많은 특허출원이 이루어지는 경향을 보였으나, 최근 들어 기존 기업들 간의 경쟁이 심화되면서 대기업 위주로 특허출원시장이 재편되어 가는 경향을 보이고 있다. 한편 과거에는 데이터 분석 및 처리기술에 많은 특허출원이 이루어졌으나 최근에는 데이터 운영 및 관리기술로 옮겨가는 것으로 조사되었으며, 특허출원 건수도 과거에 비하여 대폭 증가하고 있는 경향을 보이고 있다. 우리나라의 경우 실시간 처리기술, 저장기술, 표현기술은 상대적으로 높은 출원 점유율을 보이고 있으나, 데이터 수집 및 분석기술은 상대적으로 점유율이 낮게 나타나 관련 기술 강화를 위한 대책 마련이 시급한 것으로 조사되었다. 정부는 이를 위하여 데이터 사이언티스트 양성을 위한 정책적 지원을 확대할 필요가 있다.

본 논문은 스마트카 기술의 동향을 조사하기 위하여 2013년 7월까지 한국, 미국, 유럽, 일본 등의 스마트카 분야에서 출원된 특허 9306건을 분석하였다. 특허 출원이 많은 국가별 순위는 미국, 일본, 한국, 유럽 순이며 2000년 초반에 들어서 미국, 일본, 한국을 중심으로 출원이 증가하였다. 주요 기업의 특허 출원을 살펴보면 국내 기업의 경우 현대 자동차를 제외 하고는 대부분 국외 기업들이 특허를 출원하고 있으며, 대부분의 국외 기업들의 피인용지수가 높은 것으로 보아 원천 특허를 보유 하고 있을 것으로 판단된다. 향후 국내 기업들이 스마트카 분야에 진출 하기 위해서는 국외 기업에 많은 라이센싱 비용 소요 될 것으로 보이며, 특허분쟁 또한 빈번히 이루어 질 것으로 판단되어, 국가적인 관심과 국내 기업들의 다양한 연구가 필요하다고 판단된다.

엔터테인먼트 로봇 관련 특허가 미국과 한국에서 2000년대 초반부터 출원이 증가하였으며, 2006년 이후에 한국과 미국에서의 특허출원 건수가 다른 국가에 비해 높게 나타났다. 일본, 한국, 미국 국적 출원인의 특허 출원이 전체의 97%로 상위 3개 국적 출원인에 의해 기술개발이 진행되었다. 엔터테인먼트 로봇 기술개발 단계를 살펴보면 한국은 발전기, 미국은 성숙기, 일본은 회복기 단계로 분석 되었다.

This study classified hairdressing techniques into hairdressing equipment, beauty/care, and styling and investigated current trends in patent applications. In addition, it analyzed what aspects should be concentrated on in terms of future hairdressing techniques and their growth potential. The results found the following: Hairdressing techniques have been on the rise since 1990 in terms of patent activities. In particular, they have been most active in 'electric hairdressing equipment such as hair dryers and hair straighteners. According to analysis of applicants' application trends, technique leaders were different by sector. In hairdressing techniques, in other words, expertise should be developed by sector. It is anticipated that this study would facilitate and expand the hairdressing market by analyzing hairdressing technique patent trends and establishing future directions for R&D in hairdressing techniques.

The patents were searched to investigate the trend and the direction of technologies about the recycling of WEEE (waste electric and electronic equipment). Database was collected from WIPS site, and then 223 patents were selected by investigating abstracts. The patents from 1986 to 2007 were analyzed according to countries, international patent classification (IPC), companies, technologies, and recycling-target materials. The most patents were applied in Japan and by Japan companies. Patents about physical pretreatment technology are the most among the patents of the WEEE recycling technologies. Patents about printed circuit boards among target materials are the most because of its high value-added.
