  • This paper suggests a new object-oriented methodology, ESBD(Evolutionary Simulation Based Design), for the development of an automated manufacturing system in shipbuilding. The target system, AHMS(Automated Hull-piece Manufacturing System), is a virtualized and distributed system controlling the manufacturing processes of storing, surface-pretreatment, cutting, 1st and 2nd curvature generation of material plates. The control and product-flow simulation is applied for the real-time product monitoring and product data management(PDM). The prototype system of AHMS also outlines the layout of the new automated factory.

A Genetic Algorithm for Scheduling of Trucks with Inbound and Outbound Process in Multi-Door Cross Docking Terminals (다수의 도어를 갖는 크로스도킹 터미널에서 입고와 출고를 병행하는 트럭일정계획을 위한 유전알고리즘)

  • Cross docking is a logistics management concept in which items delivered to a terminal by inbound trucks are immediately sorted out, routed and loaded into outbound trucks for delivery to customers. Two main advantages by introducing a cross docking terminal are to consolidate multiple smaller shipment into full truck load and remove storage and order picking processes to save up logistics costs related to warehousing and transportation costs. This research considers the scheduling problem of trucks in the cross docking terminals with multi-door in an inbound and outbound dock, respectively. The trucks sequentially deal with the storage process at the one of inbound doors and the shipping process at the one of the outbound doors. A mathematical model for an optimal solution is derived, and genetic algorithms with two different chromosome representations are proposed. To verify performance of the GA algorithms, we compare the solutions of GAs with the optimal solutions and the best solution using randomly generated several examples.

  • Smart factory has the function of integrated management of production process management, logistics management as a intelligent factory, it is also emerging as the core of new industry which converges ICT and manufacturing business. We suggested Smart factory logistics management system which embedded position tracking technology and the system converges ICT and IoT. This suggested system can manage all the processes from production to release by tracking route and position based on signal strength of bluetooth 4.0 beacon tag. For the more, we will expect to apply to the various type of factory environments like detachable installation, optimized management using sensor.

  • The shoes process management monitoring system for supporting SCM is developed in this study. This system consists of a monitoring program, a conveyer system, a pneumatic unit, a controller, an USB camera, and a server and a client computer. To operate the developed system easily, the monitoring program using LabVIEW in the Windows environment is developed. This program consists of 5 modules: production management, inventory control, media management, defective management, and communication management. The developed system has several advantages: reduced time for managing process work, decreased labor costs, effective operation, and continuous work without an operator. Nowadays advanced manufacturing companies are trying to find a way to check the performance of their production equipments and plants from remote sites. Thus, to manage the developed system from remote sites, communication network is constructed. In order to evaluate the performance of the monitoring system, experiments were performed. The experimental results showed that the developed system provided a reliable performance and a stable communication.

Minimize Order Picking Time through Relocation of Products in Warehouse Based on Reinforcement Learning (물품 출고 시간 최소화를 위한 강화학습 기반 적재창고 내 물품 재배치)

  • In order to minimize the picking time when the products are released from the warehouse, they should be located close to the exit when the products are released. Currently, the warehouse determines the loading location based on the order of the requirement of products, that is, the frequency of arrival and departure. Items with lower requirement ranks are loaded away from the exit, and items with higher requirement ranks are loaded closer from the exit. This is a case in which the delivery time is faster than the products located near the exit, even if the products are loaded far from the exit due to the low requirement ranking. In this case, there is a problem in that the transit time increases when the product is released. In order to solve the problem, we use the idle time of the stocker in the warehouse to rearrange the products according to the order of delivery time. Temporal difference learning method using Q_learning control, which is one of reinforcement learning types, was used when relocating items. The results of rearranging the products using the reinforcement learning method were compared and analyzed with the results of the existing method.

  • Re-manufacturing is the process of recovering the function and performance of the original product through a re-assembly process such as a new product assembly process after reprocessing by recovering used products or parts that are in the disposal stage at the end of their lifespan. One of the manufacturing methods. The remanufacturing industry is important not only in terms of environmental protection, but also in terms of economics. The success or failure of the industry as a whole depends on trust in products and price competitiveness. Image processing systems are used to reduce labor costs and improve product reliability in the product manufacturing process. In this study, foreign substances and defects that are difficult to identify with the human eye are detected by using the pre-processing step of determining whether to recycle the drum and image processing immediately before shipment after regenerating the drum to regenerate the waste drum.

  • 세계적으로 물류 자동화 시장은 2026년까지 약 44조원으로 예상되며, 연평균 10.6%의 성장률을 기록할 것으로 예측된다. 특히 국내 시장은 2025년까지 연평균 성장률 11.5%로 1조원 이상으로 전망되고 있다. 2025년까지 물류 자동화 시장은 270억 달러로 급성장할 것으로 예상되며, 반도체 분야에서 로봇이 상품 입고, 보관, 상품 피킹, 분류, 출고 작업을 담당하는 트렌드가 강조된다. 본 논문은 반도체 물류 분야를 대상으로 작은 크기와 민첩성을 갖춘 로봇을 개발하여 작업 공간을 효율적으로 활용하고 인력을 최소화하려는 목적이다. 수직 및 수평 로봇은 효율적인 자동화 시스템을 제공하며, UI를 사용하여 AGV, 선반, 스카라 로봇을 하나의 통합 시스템으로 개발하고자 한다. 특히 코드 인식, 초음파 센서, 아두이노 MCU, 스카라 로봇, AGV 등을 활용한 로봇 시스템을 개발하여 반도체 물류 작업을 효율적으로 수행하고자 한다. 다양한 분야에서 활용 가능한 스카라 로봇을 개발하기 위해 마이크로 스텝과 풀리, 타이밍 벨트를 이용한 구동 방식 등을 채택한다. 반도체 물류 센터에서의 자동화는 물류 공간의 확대와 인건비 절감을 기대할 수 있으며, 로봇 및 드론을 활용하여 인건비 절감과 효율성 향상을 통해 기업 비용 절감에 기여할 것으로 예상된다.

  • 한국통합 물류협회에 따르면 총 택배 물량은 2020년은 약34억 개, 2021년은 약36억 만 개로 매년 꾸준히 성장하였다. 택배 물류센터에서 택배를 고객에게 전달시키기 위해서는 포장, 검수, 진열, 파지, 상차, 하차 등 많은 공정이 필요하다. 고용 인력의 부족, 인건비 상승, 부상의 위험, 높은 노동의 강도 등의 문제가 발생하였고, 소비자들의 입장에서도 제품 손상 또는 배송 지연 등의 여러 가지 문제를 야기해왔다. 본 논문은 로봇과 자율주행 기술을 활용하여 상품의 분류 및 배송과정을 자동화 하는 '스마트 물류창고 시스템'을 제안한다. 컨베이어 벨트를 이용해 택배물품의 분류를 자동화하고 자율주행 차량을 통해 배송을 하게 되고 DB를 통해 물품을 관리하게 되어 효율적인 운영을 가능하게 하고 경제적 손실을 줄인다. 적외선 센서, 바코드 센서를 이용해 컨베이어 벨트 구동 및 물품의 정보를 알 수 있으며 서보모터로 물품을 분류한다. 또한 입출고 차량이 명령을 통해 물품을 자동으로 입고 및 출고하여 DB에게 물품의 정보를 전송한다. 스마트 물류창고 시스템을 통해 인건비 절감, 오 배송, 물품 파손 등이 사라지게 되고 물류창고 뿐만 아니라 다양한 분야에서 적용 할 수 있을 것이다.

  • RFID and Kiosk has been acquiring the essential position not only for providing simple information but also as the tool for establishing Ubiquitous based society. Especially it can be said that the time for developing various Kiosks as important methods to conducting marketing and service through the differentiation and easiness on dealing information has come. Considering the present requirement, 'U-Commerce System' has been designed and developed. In the system, the RFID reader installed in 'U-Shop Kiosk System' recognizes the RFID tag on situated the specific products and detail product information and related multimedia advertisement are provided. Moreover, when the customers have the needs to purchase concerned products on the spot, they can pay and order by using credit cards. By employing the system, the amount of stock and delivery condition can be monitored in real time and the gathered information in DB can be used for dealing with stock related matters. In addition, a system can be developed to monitor and manage the remote shops in real time base. Furthermore, to overcome the limit of simple unmanned ubiquitous style Kiosk, the possibility of developing an expansion model of ubiquitous style CRM Kiosk has been suggested.

  • The inspection of distance to go train control system conducted only when train is in main line or inspecting line, that affects low work efficiency and hazard elements to safe operation. Before or after train operation, the interface test between on-board and wayside signal system must be conducted. In this paper, onboard signal interface inspection system based on the real-time automatic analysis of onboard system status information that is transmitted to the wayside system and the operation status check of the onboard signal device operates as a virtual train information that is transmitted to the onboard system have been proposed. And after building the inspection system to the inspecting track of Daejeon Subway Line 1, Panam Depot, the verification algorithm of proposed interface test and the results was presented. therefore, it has enhanced work efficiency to do not carry train operation of a half hour in test line to test on-board system.
