Three-dimensional Holographic Display with Twin Image Noise Rejection Using Off-axis Hologram Converting (탈 축 홀로그램 합성을 이용한 쌍 영상 잡음 제거와 3차원 홀로그램 디스플레이)

  • We proposed a three-dimensional holographic display technique without twin image noise by converting a complex hologram to an off-axis hologram. To implement the proposed technique we record the complex hologram of a three dimensional object that is composed of two slides located with different depth locations. We added spatial carrier to the complex hologram and after that, extract the real part of the spatial-carrier-added hologram. This converts the complex hologram to an off-axis hologram. We also reconstruct the off-axis hologram using a spatial light modulator for three dimensional display.

  • In this paper, a new temporal decomposition method is proposed. where not oniy distortion but also entropy are involved in segmentation. The interpolation functions and the target feature vectors are determined by a dynamic Programing technique. where both distortion and entropy are simultaneously minimized. The interpolation functions are built by using a training speech corpus. An iterative method. where segmentation and estimation are iteratively performed. finds the locally optimum Points in the sense of minimizing both distortion and entropy. Simulation results -3how that in terms of both distortion and entropy. the Proposed temporal decomposition method Produced superior results to the conventional split vector-quantization method which is widely employed in the current speech coding methods. According to the results from the subjective listening test, the Proposed method reveals superior Performance in terms of qualify. comparing to the Previous vector quantization method.

요트 계류장의 운동측정 장치 개발과 평가 결과

  • 바람이나 파도에 의해서 요트 계류장과 요트 사이 또는 요트 계류장과 계류장 사이에는 충격이 발생하는데, 이러한 충격으로 인하여 계류장 또는 요트가 파손되거나 전복된다. 특히, 방파제 없이 외해에 설치한 요트 계류장은 이러한 위기에 항상 노출되어 있어 이에 대한 대책이 시급한 실정이다. 논문에서는 요트 계류장의 롤링, 히브, 핏칭 등의 운동을 측정하기 위한 하드웨어의 구축과 평가에 관해서 기술하였다. 하드웨어는 MEMS 기반 자이로와 가속도계 등의 관성 센서를 내장한 반도체 센서 SD746을 이용하여 구축하였고, 구축한 하드웨어를 이용하여 소형 요트 계류장에서 발생할 수 있는 운동을 수작업으로 생성하여 측정 및 평가하였다. 실험결과 x-축, y-축, z-축 등 3축 가속도와 3축 각속도 측정이 가능하여 요트 계류장의 운동 상태 모니터링이 가능함을 알았다. 본 연구는 추후 요트 계류장의 위기상태를 평가하고 통보하기 위한 시스템 구축에 이용할 예정이다.

Visualizing multidimensional data in multiple groups (다그룹 다차원 데이터의 시각화)

  • A typical approach to visualizing k (${\geq}2$)-group multidimensional data is to use Fisher's canonical discriminant analysis (CDA). CDA finds the best low-dimensional subspace that accommodates k group centroids in the Mahalanobis space. This paper proposes an alternative visualization procedure functioning in the Euclidean space, which finds the primary dimension with maximum discrimination of k group centroids and the secondary dimension with maximum dispersion of all observational units. This hybrid procedure is especially useful when the number of groups k is two.

  • 본 논문에서는 농구 경기에서의 대표적 자세 중 Standing shoot, Jump shoot, Pass, Dribble, Lay-up shoot, 총 5가지 자세를 인식하기 위해 각 자세와 3축 가속도 값과의 상관관계를 보여주고 있다. 스마트폰에 내장되어 있는 가속도 센서로부터 데이터를 생성해주는 어플리케이션인 Sensor log를 활용하여 얻은 3축 가속도 값으로 수직, 수평축과 3축 가속도의 크기를 구해 Instance로 사용하였다. 위 데이터는 대표적인 데이터 마이닝 도구인 Weka tool을 이용하여 각 모션과 데이터 값의 상관관계를 확인하였고, 실험 결과 10-fold에서 평균 59.8%를 보였으나 Training set과 Test set의 결과 80.8%를 보였다.

  • Ultra-low shrinkage concrete is very effective for securing the quality and appearance of a concrete structure because it can control the drying shrinkage cracks of the concrete structure to within a certain limit. In this study, with the purpose of commercializing ultra-low shrinkage concrete, the optimal amount of expansive agent and shrinkage reducing agent was determined through a lab test, and a concrete wall mock-up test was conducted to examine the shrinkage properties and crack control effects of ultra-low shrinkage concrete. As a result, it was confirmed that there was little drying shrinkage deformation in the wall specimen, and furthermore that no cracks were generated.

  • With the development of precision facility technology, the importance of four-axis CNC precision processing technology is increasing. However, due to complex shape processing, it is difficult to operate the system. This paper compared precision control and efficiency by manufacturing a four-axis control structure to solve this problem and implementing Bresenham's Line Algorithm and Runspeed Algorithm without using commercial programs. When Runspeed was applied, there was an error improvement of about 12.03% and curvature accuracy improvement compared to Bresenham. It was confirmed that precise processing was possible to a three-dimensional structure by driving a rotary shaft A motor.

Does Sarcopenic Obesity Affect Physical Function and Physical Fitness of Korean Older Women? (근위축비만이 국내 여성고령자의 신체기능과 체력에 미치는 영향)

  • BACKGROUND: Sarcopenic obesity(SO), a condition of the reduction in muscle mass paired with an increased fat mass has been paid attention because of its association with disability in later life. A few evidence, however, has reported the association with these factors. PURPOSE: To explore the association among SO, physical function and fitness in older women. METHOD: 257 older women(age of 74) were recruited from Y city and 7 physical functions and 4 fitness tests were measured. Participants were classified into one of four groups based on their body fat and muscle mass: Normal group (GR-A), high fat(GR-B), sarcopenia(GR-C), and sarcopenic obese(GR-D). GLMand LSD-test were conducted with SPSS 12.0. RESULTS: Chair stand, arm-curl, back-scratch, 2-min steps of GR-A was higher than GR-C and GR-D(p<.05). One-leg stand of GR-A was higher than GR-D(p<.01) and of GR-C was higher than GR-D(p<.01).8ft-TUG of GR-D was lower than GR-A(p<.01). Grip strength, knee extension of GR-A was higher than that of GR-C and GR-D(p<.01) and knee flexion of GR-A was also higher than that of GR-C and GR-D(p<.01). CONCLUSION: Based on our findings, we conclude that SO is significantly associated with lower physical function and fitness in older Korean women, which alarm the risk of frailty induced by SO.

A Study of Developing Korea Research Information Format(KRIF) (국내 연구현황정보 데이타 포맷 개발에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 우리나라 연구지원기관에서 기구축한 연구과제 데이타베이스 기술요소를 분석하여 CERIF(Common European Research Information Format)를 준용한 국내 연구과제정보 교환을 위한 데이타 포맷(KRIF)을 정의하였다. KRIF에서는 국내에 기구축된 연구과제정보 기술항목의 특성을 고려하여 CERIF를 확장 적용하였으며, 각 엔티티에 로컬정의 필드를 두어 교환이 불필요한 데이타요소를 로컬이 재량껏 정의할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 또한 본 논문에서는 이를 바탕으로 국내에 기구축된 이형의 연구정보를 단일 창구고 검색할 수 있는 국내통합연구현황정보 데이타베이스 구축 모형을 제안하였다.

  • 자기 베어링을 구동하는 코일은 회전축의 위치 정보를 가지고 있다. 따라서 코일의 인덕턴스를 알 수 있으면 위치 센서를 쓰지 않고도 회전축의 위치를 알아낼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 코일에 고주파 신호를 주입하여 인덕턴스를 알아내고, 이를 통해 회전축의 위치를 추정하는 방법을 제안하고, 그를 이용하여 자기 베어링의 센서리스 제어를 수행한다.
