In this study, we investigate child-care teachers' perceptions of emerging technologies, with a particular focus on fields connected to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. More specifically, we explore how satisfied child-care teachers are with existing educational tools, whether they are interested in or willing to use the latest technology within child care, and their perceived likelihood of adopting these new technologies within child care sites. A total of 181 directors and teachers working at child care institutions in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province participated in the survey. The findings are as follows: firstly, child-care teachers were moderately satisfied with current teaching methods and their effects; secondly, child-care teachers were not especially interested in emerging technologies; thirdly, although interest in applying the latest technology to child care sites was moderately high, refusal to use this technology was also somewhat high; fourthly, many agreed that this technology would eventually become common. This study is expected to provide useful information to those planning to introduce the latest technology to child care sites and basic data to improve teacher training.

The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect from acceptance of the latest 4th Industrial Revolution technologies on the relationships between interest in the latest technologies, resistance to the latest technologies, and anxiety in workers at welfare institutions for the disabled. In order to achieve this goal, data were collected from July to August 2018 from workers at disability welfare centers in P Metropolitan City, and we analyzed data from 187 persons. Multiple regression analysis was applied to test the causal relationships between variables; the step-by-step analysis model of Baron and Kenny (1986) was used to verify mediating effects, and the Sobel test was performed to verify their significance. The analyses verified that the degree of interest in the latest technologies affects the degree of resistance to, and anxiety over, the latest technologies through acceptance of the latest technologies. At the same time, we verified that the degree of interest had a complete mediation effect because it did not directly affect the acceptance. In addition, the Sobel test result showed that the mediating effect was statistically significant. In other words, it was found that the degree of interest in the latest 4th Industrial Revolution technologies from workers at welfare institutions for the disabled increases the possibility of adaptation to future society by lowering resistance and anxiety through acceptance of the latest technologies. Based on these results, a plan to reduce resistance to, and anxiety over, the latest technologies was sought, and related measures to increase interest in the latest technologies and their acceptance are suggested.

차세대 동영상 압축 표준화가 될 HEVC(High Efficiency Video Coding) 표준화는 선진 기업, 연구소 및 학계의 비디오 압축 전문가들이 모여, 최신 동영상 압축 기술에 대한 표준화 경쟁에 돌입했다. 동영상 압축 기술의 핵심 기술 중 하나인 인트라 압축 기술도 기존 표준화 기술보다 더욱 다양하고 향상된 최신 기술을 바탕으로 표준화가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문은 HEVC의 Test Model 1.0 (HM 1.0)에 채택이 결정된 최신 인트라 압축 기술을 설명하고, 현재 진행중인 인트라 압축관련 CE (Core Experiment)에 참여 중인 기술을 소개한다.

본고에서는 기존의 대표적인 피뢰 보호방식과 최신의 신형 ESE 피뢰침에 대해서 피뢰이론, 보호공간, 동작원리, 구조 및 제반 설치사항을 포함한 기술적 특성과 경제성 등을 비교, 검토하고 최신의 피뢰 보호이론 및 신형 피뢰침 설비의 특성을 비교 검토하여 가장 적합한 피뢰 보호설비의 적용 선정기준을 정립하고자 한다.
