세계의 인쇄인: 이봉창(李奉昌)의사와 보성사

  • 오는 4월 13일은 임시정부수립기념일이다. 이에 상하이의 인쇄사에서 잠시 근무했던 이봉창 의사와 독립선언서를 인쇄했던 보성사에 대해 알아본다. 이봉창 선생은 1932년 1월 8일 일본제국주의의 심장부인 도쿄에서 삼엄한 경호를 받으며 궁성으로 돌아가던 일왕에게 수류탄을 투척, 일본인의 간담을 서늘케 하고 전 세계 피압박 민족에게 큰 충격을 준 인물이다. 이 선생이 터뜨린 한발의 수류탄은 당시 침체일로에 있던 상해임시정부에 새로운 전기를 마련해 주었다. 정부는 지난 62년 선생의 장거를 기리어 건국훈장 대통령장을 추서했다. 보성사터 기념비는 지금의 조계사 좌측 수송소공원에 있는데, 천도교에서 경영하던 인쇄사로 보성학교 뒷마당에 자리 잡고 있었다. 1919년 당신 최남선이 경영하던 신문관과 함께 최대 인쇄사로 꼽혔다. 보성사는 1919년 6월 28일 일본의 방화로 추정되는 화재로 전소됐다.

A study on Significance of Literary History in Kwon Goohyeon's and Han Yongwoon's Sijo (권구현과 한용운 시조의 문학사적 의의 - 1920-1930년대 시조부흥운동의 재인식 -)

  • Si is a genre which has been steadily loved by Korean, Particularly, 1920's through 1930's, the Revival Movement of Sijo is made by the school of Literary for People, including Choi Namseon, Lee Byeonggi and Lee Eunsang. And Kwon Goohyeon, a member of KAPF, and Han Yongwoon, not belonging to any literary group were interested in Sijo. Kwon Goohyeon, both a member of KAPF and an anarchist has published A Present of Black Room(1927), which is one of the two published in 1920's-1920's saw only two volumes of Sijo works be published: Choi Namseon's 108 Agony(1926) and Kwon's. However, Kwon Goohyeon's work has not been illuminated. compared with Choi Namseon's and the Revival Movement Sijo by the school of Literary for People. It is because Korean literary world has been under the anti-communism ideology since the Liberation of Korea. However, it caused to explore proletarianism Sijo (Joh woon) and proletarianism poetry (Park Yeonghee) that Kwon is a memeber of KAPF and an anarchist. Han Yongwoon, not belonging to any literary group, was very famous as the poet of My Belolved One's Silence(1926), not as a Sijo poet. It means that he s not been illuminated as a Sijo poet. However, his Sijo is enough to contain his various features such as a man of Independence Movement, a Buddhist monk, a lyrical poet and so on. His first Sijo is For Planting Mookoonghwa-Poetry Written in Prison(1922), which has been published four years prior to My Beloved One's. And his affection on Sijo is inferred from the fact that he has constantly published Sijo more than free verse. The aim this thesis is to find out a position of Sijo 1920's through 1930's from a study on Kwon Goohyeon's and Han Yongwoon's Sijo. Sijo, Korean traditional literary genre, was written by most of the poets including not only the school of Literary for People but Kwon Goohyeon and Han Yongwoon 1920's through 1930's. As a result, the writing of Sijo was not a partial movement by the anti-KAPF group, but by a paradigm in 1920's through 1930's.

Study on the Tone of Yukdang's and Manhae's Sijo (육당(六堂)과 만해(萬海) 시조(時調)의 어조(語調))

  • In this study, I've researched the sijo written by Yukdang, Choi, Nam Sun, and Manhae. Han, Yong Woon who were the leading intellectual and the pioneers experiencing the time of flowering and the colonial period. Their lives had the common things in various way. They were involved in Independence movement as the intellectual at that time. They also showed the various activities such as modern poem. sijo, and even Chinese poetry. In this thesis, 1 compared their sijo and considered them. Especially, I've researched the two divided parts focused on the tone shown in the sin one part was focused on the 'lover', and the other was on the 'life'. The summarise which I've researched is as followings. First, I've researched the sijo focused on the 'lover' They have the common things in having the presupposition of farewell to their 'lover'. But there were significant differences as followings. In the case of Yukdang, he expressed the passive tone based upon the despondency and the loss with the absence of his lover. Meanwhile, Manhae tended to reveal the resigned and negative tone based to his lyrical world. The contrasted tone in their poems is considered to have something to do with their realistic matters. There should also be several things to be discussed in the future.

  • Several bisphosphine- and bisphosphite-substituted Re-imido complexes have been prepared from Re(NPh)(PPh3)2Cl3, 1, and Re(N-C6H3-i-Pr2)2Cl3(py), 4. Compound 1 reacted with trimethyl phosphate (P(OMe)3) to give a mixture of two isomers,mer,trans-Re(NPh)(P(OMe)3)2Cl3, 2, and fac,cis-Re(NPh)(P(OMe)3)2Cl3, 2a. In this reaction, the mer,trans-isomer is a major product. Complex 1 also reacted with triethylphosphine (PEt3) to exclusively give mertrans-Re(NPh)(PEt3)2Cl3, 3. Compound 4 reacted with trimethylphosphine (PMe3) to give mer,trans-Re(N-C6H3-i-Pr2)(PMe3)2Cl3, 5, which was converted to mer-Re(N-C6H3-i-Pr2)(PMe)(OPMe3)Cl3, 6, on exposure to air. Crystallographic data for 2: monoclinic space group P21/n, a = 8.870(2) Å, b = 14.393(3) Å, c = 17.114(4) Å, β = 101.43(2)°, Z = 4, R(wR2) = 0.0521(0.1293). Crystallographic data for 5: orthorhombic space group P212121, a = 11.307(l) Å, b = 11.802(l) Å, c = 19.193(2) Å, Z = 4, R(wR2) = 0.0250(0.0593). Crystallographic data for 6: orthorhombic space group P212121, a = 14.036(4) Å, b = 16.486(5) Å, c = 11.397(3) Å, Z = 4, R(wR2) = 0.0261(0.0630).

The Aspects of Change of Sijo (시조의 변이 양상)

  • Korean verse has flexibly changed its form and contents according to the historical background of the times. This fact arouses reader sympathy because it has reflected ideas, historical aspects and realities of the times. However, korean verse has kept its own characteristics in some ways, allowing it to exist today. It holds its form as 3 verses of three by three or four meter and three letters of the last of three verses. It makes every different version which has specific aspects of each times in the same 'sijo' area. 'Sijo' in Korean poems, is the first form that has been changed from formal to private functionally. As a result of that common verses in the Goryeo to Joseon eras were going with the stream of the times. Verse was the plate for justice so that there was no double meaning, symbols, or technical sentences. It had to show the idea of Myungchundo Jwonginryun. The theme was commonly fitted within certain areas. such as blessings, fidelity, devotion, etc. Around the end of the Joseon era, there was activation of private verses - a form of sijo with no restrictions on the length of the first two verses. Some ideas had been changed because Sarimpa gained power, domestic conflict, and the introduction of practical science. These things had an effect on the form of Sijo. After all, it shows the ideas of collapsing feudalism, resistance of confucian ideas, equality of the sexes, and opposition to the group who rule the government. Thus Sasul Sijo seems to have the tendency of resistance to reality. It was a specialty of realism poetry It explained our life in detail and reflected real life by being an intermediary of realism. This met and represented the demand of a reader's expectations. After 1905, there was new form of sijo that is very different, in form and content, from the previous versions. It was even different in areas of what people accepted. They started to think sijo was not the form of lyrical verse that is once was. It became a 'record of reading'. The form changed to 'hung or huhung' that satirized the times and the ending of a word in the last verse. Although this form could deliver the tension in statement, it was too iu from the original form. Therefore, it didn't last long, and its position got smaller because of the free verse that had western influence and was emerging in the times. In the middle of 1920, there was a movement of Sijo revival. It was lead by Choinamsun. He wrote poems and Sijo which were effected by western ideas in his early works. Although he worked with that, he took the lead in the movement of Sijo revival. He published the collection of Sijo $\ulcorner$Baekpalbunnwoi$\lrcorner$ that has one major theme-patriotic sentiment. He thought an ancient poem was a part of racial characteristics so that he expressed the main theme which represented the times and situations of his era. Modern Sijo is difficult. Sijo has to have modern and Korean verse characteristics at the same time. If it considers a modern aspect too much, it could not be distinguished from sijo and free verse. If it overly leans toward Sijo. it would seem to be too conservative which it then could be said to have no real charm of a poem. In spite of these problems, it is written constantly, because it has its own specialty. It has been focused on some works because they reflect awareness of modern times, the democratic idea, and realism. Overall, the authors of Modern Sijo express various themes by using different forms. The more what we can guess in this work, Sijo will exist permanently because of its flexibility. Furthermore, one special characteristic-flexibility of the korean verse will make it last forever and it will be a genre in Korean poetry.
