Comparative analysis of glycerin in cosmetics by LC/MS and 1H NMR (LC/MS와 1H NMR을 이용한 화장품속의 글리세린 비교분석)

  • The comparative analysis of glycerin in cosmetic samples was carried out by LC/MS and $^1H$ NMR spectrometry. For the LC/MS analysis, aqueous solution was controlled in strong basic condition with sodium hydroxide, and benzoyl chloride was added to the solution for the derivatization of glycerin. The derivative was extracted using pentane and analyzed by the LC/MS. For the $^1H$ NMR analysis, sample was directly dissolved in $D_2O$ solvent without pretreatment. The quantitative analysis of glycerin was done by $^1H$ NMR ERETIC method. The analysis results of LC/MS and $^1H$ NMR showed that the calibration curves were a good linearity with $r^2=0.9991$ in the range of 0.1 to $10{\mu}g/mL$ and $r^2=1$ in the range of 25 to $500{\mu}g/mL$, respectively.

Evolution of Mechanical Properties through Various Heat Treatments of a Cast Co-based Superalloy (주조용 코발트기 초내열합금의 열처리에 따른 기계적 특성 변화)

  • The effects of a heat treatment on the carbide formation behavior and mechanical properties of the cobalt-based superalloy X-45 were investigated here. Coarse primary carbides formed in the interdendritic region in the as-cast specimen, along with the precipitation of fine secondary carbides in the vicinity of the primary carbides. Most of the carbides formed in the interdendritic region were dissolved into the matrix by a solution treatment at $1274^{\circ}C$. Solutionizing at $1150^{\circ}C$ led to the dissolution of some carbides at the grain boundaries, though this also caused the precipitation of fine carbides in the vicinity of coarse primary carbides. A solution treatment followed by an aging treatment at $927^{\circ}C$ led to the precipitation of fine secondary carbides in the interdendritic region. Very fine carbides were precipitated in the dendritic region by an aging heat treatment at $927^{\circ}C$ and $982^{\circ}C$ without a solution treatment. The hardness value of the alloy solutionized at $1150^{\circ}C$ was somewhat higher than that in the as-cast condition; however, various aging treatments did not strongly influence the hardness value. The specimens as-cast and aged at $927^{\circ}C$ showed the highest hardness values, though they were not significantly affected by the aging time. The specimens aged only at $982^{\circ}C$ showed outstanding tensile and creep properties. Thermal exposure at high temperatures for 8000 hours led to the precipitation of carbide at the center of the dendrite region and an improvement of the creep rupture lifetimes.

  • Mg-Zn-Ca합금의 잉곳트는 BN을 내벽에 바른 4x$10^{-5}$Torr의 진공의 석영관내에서 제조하였다. Mg-Zn합금계의 입자미세화를 위하여 0.5-5wt.%조성범위의 Ca를 첨가하였다. 제조된 합금을 용체화처리한 후 결정립크기와 경도를 측정하였다. Mg-6wt.%Zn합금의 입자미세화효과는 Ca가 1.5wt%첨가 될 때 최적의 조건이었다. Mg-6wt.% Zn과 Mg-6wt.% Zn-2wt.% Ca및 Mg-6wt.% Zn-1.5wt.% Si합금을 시효처리하여 시효거동을 조사하였다. 입자미세화에 의한 경도증가효과는 Mg-Zn-Ca합금계에서 크게 나타났으며 시효에 의한 경도증가효과는 Mg-Zn-Si합금계에서 크게 나타났다. Mg-6wt.%Zn합금의 부식전류밀도는 0.5wt.% Ca의 조성에서 감소되었다.

  • 콘텐츠 산업은 디지털 기술의 발달로 콘텐츠 속성이 아날로그에서 디지털 융복화로 변화되고 있으며, IPTV, DMB, WiBro, 3DTV 등과 같은 뉴미디어를 통해 융복합 서비스로 제공되고 있다. 또한 디지털콘텐츠 산업의 영역은 과거 엔터테인먼트 위주에서 미래에는 제조, 서비스를 포함한 산업 전영역에 체화 및 융합되어 산업의 경계를 초월할 것으로 전망된다. 이러한 콘텐츠 산업에 있어서의 융합 현상은 산업간 경계약화, 기술의 발달 및 고객수요의 다양화 등에 의해 빠르게 확산중에 있으며, 특히 문화기술(CT)의 진보가 근본적으로 콘텐츠 산업에서의 융합을 가속화시키고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 콘텐츠 산업에서의 융합 유형을 4가지(강화, 확장, 결합, 창조)로 구분하여 주요 사례들을 살펴보고, 미래 콘텐츠 산업의 트렌드를 전망해 봄으로써 융합형 콘텐츠 산업의 육성 및 발전을 위한 정책을 수립하고 시행하는 데 기여하고자 한다.

  • A simple and sensitive high performance liquid chromatographic method to quantitate ursodeoxycholic acid in crude drug pharmaceuticals was investigated. Ursodeoxycholic acid react with 2-bromoacetyl-6-methoxynaphthalene (Br-AMN) in the presence of triethylamine to form highly fluorescent derivative. The derivatization procedure was performed at 7$0^{\circ}C$ and completed within 30 min. The optimal wavelength of the fluorescence detector are λ$_{ex}$=300 nm and λ$_{em}$ = 460 nm. The LOD of the ursodeoxycholic acid was 25 ng/mι based on the S/N =3, and the LOQ was 80 ng/mι based on S/N = 10. Crude drug pharmaceuticals pretreated by solid phase extraction (Sep-pak $C_{18}$ cartridge) which were shown very good separation and recovery values for the compound.d.

  • Extraction of quaternary ammonium compounds (choline and betaine) from plant samples (spinach) using ion exchange resin (AG1, OH form) is a very simple and inexpensive approach. However, it is very hard to determine amounts of choline and betaine simultaneously using high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet (HPLC-UV) detection. Unlike choline, betaine has low molar absorptivity in UV-visible (UV-Vis) region, which makes it difficult to carry out UV-Vis detection of betaine. The mixture of quaternary ammonium compounds (choline and betaine) was derivatized using 2-bromo acetophenone as a derivatizing agent. As a result, choline did not react with the derivatizing agent, whereas betaine formed a betaine derivative. This betaine derivative exhibited detectable UV absorption with baseline separation between choline and the betaine derivative. Thus, with this method, choline and betaine can be determined simultaneously by using the HPLCUV method through one-step derivatization, which is an easy, sensitive, and reliable method.

  • 아세틸화(化) 고분자(高分子) 축합(縮合)탄닌의 젤침투 크로마토그래피 분석(分析)을 위해 일반적(一般的)으로 사용(使用)되고 있는 폴리스타이렌 표준물질(標準物質)은 부정확(不正確)한 교정(矯正)값을 준다. 한편 유도체화 하지않은 축합탄닌의 젤침투 크로마토그래피는 폴리스타이렌 디비닐벤젠 코폴리머 컬럼과 디메틸 포름아미드를 용매(溶媒)로 사용(使用)하여 매우 만족스럽게 분석(分析)될 수 있었다. 그 컬럼의 교정은 유도처리 되지않은 고분자(高分子) 축합(縮合)탄닌을 이용(利用)하여 수행되었으며 고분자 탄닌을 유도처리 할 필요가 없으므로 탄닌의 신속한 분자량(分子量) 결정(決定)이 가능하고 컬럼 크로마토그래피로 분리(分離)되어지는 탄닌을 연속적으로 분석(分析)할 수 있는 장점(長點)을 가진다.

잔류응력 완화를 위한 극저온 열처리 시 7075 알루미늄 합금의 기계적 특성 및 미세조직의 변화

  • 7075알루미늄 합금은 기계적 강도가 가장 높은 고강도 합금으로 열처리 공정이 반드시 필요하다. 그러나 열처리 공정 중 재료의 두께에 따른 내부 온도의 차이로 인한 잔류응력이 발생하여 최종 제품의 치수에 변화를 일으켜 제품 생산에 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서 극저온 열처리 공정을 통하여 야기되는 7075알루미늄 합금의 기계적 특성 및 미세조직에 관하여 연구하였다. 7075 알루미늄 합금은 석출경화를 통한 강화가 이루어지며, 석출경화를 위해서 용체화 처리를 하여 인공시효를 하는 기존 공정과 비교하여 극저온 열처리 공정은 두 개의 추가적인 단계를 가지고 있다. 첫 번째 단계는 -196도의 액체 질소 속에 샘플을 극저온 ��칭을 하는 단계이고, 두 번째 단계는 샘플의 온도를 급격하게 올리는 up-hill quenching이다. 잔류응력은 X-ray diffraction을 이용한 $sin2{\psi}$ 방법으로 측정되었다. 극저온 열처리 후 기계적 특성을 평가하기 위하여 vickers hardness를 측정하였으며 미세 조직의 특성을 파악하기 위하여 EBSD와 TEM을 이용하여 평가하였다.

  • A high performance liquid chromatographic method was developed for the simultaneous determination of free and glycine conjugated bile acids. Free and glycine conjugated bile acids were extracted from bear gall bladder by methanol and from serum using a Sep-pak $C_{18}$ catridge. The extracted bile acids were labeled with 2-bromoacetyltriphenylene in acetonitrite using 18-crown-6-ether as a catalyst. Derivatized bile acids were separated from the individual bile acids on a reversedphase column (Chemcosorb 5-ODS-H) using acetonitrile-methanol-water(10:50:30) as a mobile phase and monitored by an UV-detector at 254nm. Linearities of calibration curve were obtained between 4 ng and 24 ng, and recoveries from bear gall bladder sample were higher than 94%.
