Probabilistic reasoning and combinational reasoning are essential to build a logical thinking and a process of thinking dealing with everyday life as well as scientific knowledge. This research aims at finding the optimal period to teach reasoning to the students who haven't developed probabilistic reasoning and combinational reasoning. The treatment program was performed for 20 students from each grade who couldn't develop two parts of reasoning. The treatment program using baduk stones and cards was performed repeatedly, focusing on the specific activities. After four weeks of treatment program, the test to check the development of probabilistic reasoning and combinational reasoning was performed again and the changes of reasoning development were identified. After giving treatment program for reasoning development, 15.0%, 25.0% and 40.0% of improvement in the 4th, the 5th, the 6th graders respectively were shown. With regard to the combinational reasoning, the results showed the improvement of 20.0% in the 4th grades, 25.0% in the 5th graders and 63.2% in the 6th graders. As a result of research in the above, students, who were not formed probabilistic reasoning and combinational reasoning, could be known to be enhanced through learning, but to fail to be formed the qualitative change like the cognitive development. It is expected that this research can contribute to the improvement of students' cognitive level and there would be more active researches in different fields to improve the cognitive level of the 6th graders who are in their optimal periods to learn two parts of reasoning.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the recognition of middle school students on 'Thinking Science' activities and the influence on the understanding of the gas particles behavior concepts. For this study 125 students of four classes first grade in middle school were divided into two groups, the experimental and the control group. The SRT II test was carried out to identify the cognitive level of the students. The logical factors, needed to understand of the gas particles behavior concepts, were extracted. And the 9 'Thinking Science' activities designed to develop these factors were chosen and then implemented to the students of the experimental group. After the lesson for the gas particles behaviors, the achievement test of understanding of the gas particles behavior concepts and the survey of the students' recognition on 'Thinking Science' activities were administered. According to the results of the achievement test, there was not significant difference between the two groups on the whole. But only mature concrete operational students in the experimental group got high scores than those in the control group in analyzing the effect size. According to the results of the ANCOVA analysis, there was significant difference between the two girls' group. When students in the experimental group had a positive perceptions about 'Thinking Science' activities, they got higher achievement scores. This implied that there was a correlation between perception about 'Thinking Science' activities and their achievement in the gas particles behavior concepts. Especially, students with positive perception in mature concrete operational period got higher scores in science achievement. After the 'Thinking Science' activities, there was a high perceptions about improving in scientific thinking.

This thesis tried applying Ayurvedic hair and scalp care program and analyzing its effect. Ayurvedic treatment strengthens our immunity through natural healing power. I measured with MIC test and Halo test in order to examine the antibacterial efficacy against colonies which reside in head, when Ayurvedic base oils and essential oils were used on hair and scalp. Finally, I reached the results as follows. I examined the antibacterial efficacy of base oils and essential oils against Bacillus subtilis and Propionibacterium acnes, based on the MIC test with 9 kinds of base oil and 18 kinds of essential oil. By way of experiment, base oils did not show the antibacterial efficacy from all colonies, and in case of essential oils, such as Chamomile, Clary sage, Jasmine, Neroli and Rose oil, the antibacterial efficacy against two colonies did not appear by the measure of below 5%. It turned out that Thyme, Geranium, Lavender and Tea tree had an high effect on two colonies. According to the Halo test which experimented on 7 kinds of bacteria with the essential oils like Geranium, Lavender and Thyme and with the base oils like Sesame and Coconut, it went to prove that base oils was inefficient on antibiosis. It was examined that all of essential oils had the effect on antibiosis from 7 kinds of bacteria. Thyme showed the best efficacy of antibiosis in the MIC and the Halo test.

Purpose: We explored the mydriatic effects of injected intracameral epinephrine after phacoemulsification (PE) combined with phacovitrectomy to treat proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR). Methods: We enrolled 96 patients (96 eyes) who underwent phacovitrectomy to treat PDR; we used ImageJ software to measure pupil sizes and the ratios of pupil to cornea area (PCA) before and after PE and after pars plana vitrectomy (PPV). We compared pupil sizes between those who received intracameral epinephrine (0.001% w/v) after PE but before PPV (study group, 46 eyes) and patients not so treated (control group, 50 eyes). Results: The PCA ratios of the study group were $0.52{\pm}0.11$ before PE, $0.43{\pm}0.12$ after PE, and $0.51{\pm}0.11$ after PPV, respectively. Changes in pupil size were significant (p < 0.001, p < 0.001 respectively). The PCA ratios of the control group were $0.52{\pm}0.10$ before PE, $0.39{\pm}0.15$ after PE, and $0.43{\pm}0.15$ after PPV, respectively. Changes in pupil size after PE were significant (p = 0.011) but the change after PPV was not (p = 0.056). Conclusions: Intracameral epinephrine given after PE but before PPV effectively dilates the pupils during phacovitrectomy to treat PDR.

This study is a similar experimental study before and after the inequality control group to investigate the effect of PETTLEP model-based image training on fundamental nursing practice education on the confidence and competence ability of core basic nursing skills, and participation in autonomous practice. Data were collected by randomly assigning 74 students who understood the purpose of the study and voluntarily agreed to participate in the study among second-year students of the Department of Nursing at U University located in K Province, randomly assigned to an experimental group and a control group. For the collected data, frequency and percentage were used for general characteristics of subjects using SPSS Statistics 23.0 program, skewness and kurtosis were used for normality test, and the dependent variable test for measuring the effect of experimental treatment was analyzed by paired t-test. As a result of the study, PETTLEP model-based image training showed confidence in core basic nursing skills(t=4.18, p<.001) and competence (knowledge(t=2.241, p=.032), nursing skills(t=8.402, p<.001)), there were statistically significant differences in self-practice participation(t=6.822, p<.001). Based on the results of this study, the PETTLEP model-based image training provided Based on the results of this study, it was confirmed that PETTLEP model-based image training can be a teaching and learning method applicable to basic nursing education. In addition, PETTLEP model-based image training is expected to be utilized as a learning method to improve the competence of core basic nursing skills, which are recognized as difficult due to their high level of difficulty.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of learning achievement by comparing project approach group and the control group on the unit of growing flowers and vegetables in practical arts education. For this purpose, the experimental study on the unit of growing flowers and vegetables was achieved with 63 students(5th grade 2 classes) in S elementary school. The project approach model (Chung, Sung-bong) was applied to the experimental group, and the traditional model to the control group. To verify the effects of each class, nonequivalent control group post test-only design was applied 10 times. The SPSSWIN(ver 12. 0. 1) was used for analyzing the frequency and t-tests. The results of this study were as follows ; First, there was significant effect of learning achievement(cognitive domain) in the project approach groups. In addition, learning achievement of the experimental group has been showed significant difference about intellectual function and ability but not about knowledge. Second, there was significant effect of learning achievement(psychomotor domain) in the project approach groups. In other words, there has been showed significant difference in basic skill and integrated skill for growing flowers and vegetables but not in elemental skill for planting. Third, as the post test, there existed significant effect(affective domain) in the project approach groups. In other words, there was a meaningful difference in acceptance, value, belief, actualization but not in interest. Based on these results, It is believed that the project approach model in the unit of 'growing flowers and vegetables' is more effective than the traditional learning method in learning achievement of learners' cognitive, psychomotor and affective domain.
The purpose of this study was to understand educational changes and effects of cognitive behavioral art therapy using the smart device. The participant of the study was a 4th grade of male elementary school student who had aggressiveness and impulsiveness with emotional instability. The study was conducted one to two times a week for six months with a total of 30 educational sessions. Among 80 minutes per session, 60 minutes of art therapy and 20 minutes of cognitive behavioral therapy were applied, and during the sessions, cognitive action art therapy (drawing and shaping activities), cognitive restructuring, behavioral modification, systemic dullness, social skills training, empathy and landscaping training were applied. For the numeral assessment, Traffic Anxiety Inventory for Children (TAIC), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) and emotional instability measures were used. Research showed that cognitive behavioral art therapy using smart devices had the effect of positive emotional change in children with emotional anxiety, and based on this, future development directions including systematic instructional design, scientific analysis and feedback technologies were discussed.

The purpose of this study was to determine whether unstable surface core exercise is more effective than stable surface core exercise on improving functional movement and balance and reducing pain in sedentary female workers with backpain. Participants were randomly assigned to an unstable surface core exercise(UEG; n=10) or a stable surface core exercise(SEG; n=10) group. They participated in the given exercise for 8 weeks. FMS, Y-Balance and VAS were measured before and after the participation in exercise, which were subjected to a repeated-measures ANOVA. In the case of a significant interaction between time and group, paired sample t-tests were conducted for a post hoc analysis within each subject group. Results indicated that FMS of the UEG had a significant effect on HS (p<.01), ASLR (p<.05) and TS(p<.001), but not for other variables. YBT did not show a significant effect for any variable (AT, PL, PM, TS), although the main effect of time was significant in both subject groups. VAS had a significant effect only in the UEG(p<.001). Our findings indicate that compared to SEG, UEG is more effective for improving functional movement and reducing pain, but not for improving balance, in sedentary female workers with backpain.
The importance of identifying gifted children during early childhood is becoming recognized. Nonetheless, most researchers preferred to study the primary and secondary levels where children are already and more clearly demonstrating what talents they have, and where more reliable predictions of gifted may be made. Comparatively lisle work has been done in this area. When we identify giftedness during early childhood, we have to consider the potential of the young children rather than on actual achievement. Giftedness during early childhood is still developing and less stable than that of older children and this prevents us from making firm and accurate predictions based on children's actual achievement. Dynamic assessment, based on Vygotsky's concept of the zone of proximal development(ZPD), suggests a new idea in the way the gifted young children are identified. In light of dynamic assessment, for identifying the potential giftedness of young children. we need to involve measuring both unassisted and assisted performance. Dynamic assessment usually consists of a test-intervene-retest format that focuses attention on the improvement in child performance when an adult provides mediated assistance on how to master the testing task. The advantages of the dynamic assessment are as follows: First, the dynamic assessment approach can provide a useful means for assessing young gifted child who have not demonstrated high ability on traditional identification method. Second, the dynamic assessment approach can assess the learning process of young children. Third, the dynamic assessment can lead an individualized education by the early identification of young gifted children. Fourth, the dynamic assessment can be a more accurate predictor of potential by linking diagnosis and instruction. Thus, it can make us provide an educational treatment effectively for young gifted children.
