  • In order to manage the correct posture in daily life, it is necessary to evaluate the objective posture and appropriate prescription and management. The posture evaluation program is widely used as a method to evaluate posture relatively easily and safely. However, the existing posture evaluation program is evaluated by utilizing the position of the skeletal system, but lacks feedback on the result of the evaluation because the muscle information causing the posture is lacking and the efficiency of the program is decreased. Therefore, we will improve the existing posture evaluation program and design the system that helps the correct posture management by the appropriate exercise prescription based on the feedback that the server measures and stores the evaluation result through the SOAP message.

Hair Growth Activity and Melanogenic Activity of Oriental Medical Prescription (한방복합처방단의 발모효과 및 멜라닌 생성 촉진효과)

  • To develop a new natural cosmetic hair care product for scalp treatment, we investigated the effect of enzyme modified (Viscozyme, Pectinex) oriental medical prescriptions on hair growth and melanogenesis. Enzyme modified oriental medical prescriptions showed the antioxidative effect, inhibitory effects on lipoxygenase activity and $5{\alpha}$-reductase activity and melanogenic activity. In human irritation test, they did not show any adverse effect. Based on these results, we suggest that enzyme modified oriental medical prescriptions may potentially be used in a cosmeceutical hair care product for scalp treatment.

  • In this paper, we develop a muscle exercise prescription system and present a prescription method by analyzing bioelectric signal of human muscles. This system is designed to give right exercise prescriptions include strength, duration, frequency of exercise after diagnosing personal body condition using EMG(Electromyography). With the help of these prescriptions all users can keep there optimum exercise status and avoid excess exercise symptom and, we van utilize in all the measurements like abnormal posture, muscle power, muscle regidity, muscle fatigue, muscle balance. Also easily accessable system can offer variable utilizations such as in health care center, sports center, social welfare center, social medical center, school, and kinder garden.

  • 본 연구는 실내외 자전거 운동 시 빈번히 발생하고 있는 무릎상해를 예방하기 위해 자전거 운동을 실시할 때 올바른 자세를 유지 할 수 있도록 도와주는 보호 장비 개발 내용이다. 자전거 운동 시 발생할 수 있는 손상을 예방하기 위해서는 안장의 높이, 좌우 무릎사이의 간격, 무릎 각도가 안전한 각도 범위내에 있어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 무릎의 올바른 정렬을 유지한 채 운동을 지속할 수 있도록 센서부와 제어기로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 센서부는 가속도 센서, 자이로 센서, 속도감지 센서로 구성하여 자전거 운동 시 정상적인 무릎정렬과 비교하여 올바르지 못한 정렬 상태에서 운동 시 즉시 피드백하여 자세를 수정할 수 있도록 유도해 무릎의 상해를 예방하는 실내외 자전거 이용 시 운동 상해를 예방하기 위한 무릎 보호대를 개발하고자 한다.

A Multi-level Analysis of Injection Requests and Associated Patient Characteristics in the Korean Acute-care Outpatient Setting (국내 병의원 이용 환자들의 주사제 요청과 관련된 특성에 대한 다수준 분석)

  • 서론: 주사제 사용을 줄이기 위한 정책의 일환으로 건강보험심사평가원은 의료기관별 주사제 처방률을 통보하고 있으나, 여전히 주사제 처방은 높은 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 주사제에 대한 환자의 인식수준을 살펴보고, 환자의 주사제 요청에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 최근 6개월 이내에 병의원을 방문한 전국의 20세 이상의 남녀를 대상으로 전화조사한 단면설계 연구다. 환자의 일반적 특성과 주사제에 대한 태도, 인식을 조사하였고, 환자가 주사제를 요청하는데 영향을 미치는 특성을 규명하기 위해 일반적 특성(성, 연령, 결혼여부, 보험형태, 지역규모, 질환, 교육, 소득 등), 주사제에 대한 인식, 태도를 독립변수로 하고, 주사제 처방 요청여부를 종속변수로 하며, 16개 행정지역을 무작위 효과로 층화한 다수 준 분석을 실시하였다.결과: 연구대상에 포함된 응답자는 997명이었고(응답률 82.2%), 응답자 중 24%가 병의원 방문 당시 주사제를 요구했다고 응답했고, 58%가 한번 이상 주사제를 맞은 경험이 있다고 보고했다. 92%가 주사제에 대해 잘못된 인식을 갖고 있었고, 15%는 의사가 부적절하게 주사제를 처방한다고 응답했다. 다수준 로지스틱 회귀분석 결과, 남성의 경우(Odds ratio(OR) 0.71, 95% confidence interval(CI) 0.52-0.99), 고졸이상자(OR 0.63, 95% CI 0.41-0.96), 기혼자(OR 1.72, 95% CI 1.01-2.92)가 주사제를 더 요구하는 것으로 나타났고, 대도시에 비해 농촌지역 환자가(OR 2.12, 95% CI 1.24-3.63), 호흡기계 질환으로 방문한 경우(OR 1.48, 95% CI 1.03-2.12), 주사제를 처방하면 경구제에 비해 신뢰감이 생긴다는 응답자의 경우(OR 1.91, 95% CI 1.33-2.73) 주사제를 더 요구하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 본 연구결과 여성, 기혼자, 농촌 거주자, 호흡기계 질환으로 방문한 환자의 경우와 주사를 맞으면 신뢰감이 생긴다는 잘못된 태도를 가진 환자가 주사제를 요구하는 것으로 나타났고, 이러한 환자특성을 고려하여 주사제 사용을 감소시키기 위한 정책을 실시하는 것이 필요하겠다.

  • The current study attempted to develop and operate an exercise prescription expert system based on cloud computing. Recently, concerns on health are increasing due to the development of healthcare technology, increased life expectancy, and enhanced concerns on the body figure and wellbeing among Koreans. This trend pushes up the demand for the personal trainers and exercise specialists. However, supply of the exercise specialists are less than the demand. This study tries to develop exercise prescription system, aggregate diverse data, develop artificial intelligence rule, and operate exercise prescription expert system and education system. This system may assist training exercise professionals by replacing off-line training programs into on-line training programs. Further researches are recommended to connect diverse IoT devices and big data.

  • Active studies are under way on telemedicine and medical support based on mobile devices in order to vitalize U-Healthcare. Especially when the medical law is revised to allow a remote prescription system, studies on a mobile prescription system will rapidly increase. And yet since mobile apps have less compatibility due to the nature of mobile platform, there is a restriction that they have to be redeveloped to be compatible with the platform. To compensate this problem, this study designs a mobile web prescription interface by using HLTML5, the standard language of mobile web development and jQuery Mobile, a JavaScript Library. It also adds a feature of converting to a form of standard protocol HL7-based messages to share data with existing hospital information system. This interface makes it possible to be interlocked with the existing hospital information system through the transmission of the HL7 messages. The advantage of the proposed system is that it can be used in various environments since it is independent of mobile platforms and compatible with general computers.

  • This study was carried out the exercise monitoring utilizing mobile device which is easily accessible and personalized exercise prescription based on it. For this, a variety of exercise monitoring and status of those were investigated and suggested the potential of personalized exercise prescription. If individual users send their body and vital informations using a mobile device, all informations are collected in u-Fitness center. After then exercise expert provide a customized prescription based on the collected information and feed data into database of u-Fitness center. System of U-Fitness center will provide the best personalized exercise prescription by automatically connecting to the content providers. In the future, a variety of mobile devices and services will work together and it can be evolved as an open platform that can be used for multiple services according to the needs of individual users on a single platform.

Effects of Hair Treatment with Shea Butter on Bleached Hair (시어버터가 함유된 헤어트리트먼트가 탈색 모발에 미치는 영향)

  • The current study aimed to find the effects of hair treatment with shea butter on bleached hair and hair protection. The agent for hair treatment with shea butter was developed in different concentration levels (0%,1%,3%,5%) for experimentation. After applying the agent to bleached hair, hair samples were evaluated as follows. Increase in hair thickness was highest in the hair sample that had 5% of shea butter. The amount of amino acids was also highest in the hair sample that contained 5% of shea butter. Comparing the difference of the surface color, hair sample with 5% of shea butter showed low level of L⁎ while the level of a⁎ value that reflects the redness was high and the level of b⁎ value that reflects yellowness was low. Observation through the scanning microscope confirmed the positive effects by showing smoother surfaces in the sample with shea butter than in the bleached hair. This study showed shea butter is considered to be cosmetics to protect damaged hair by bleaching.
