A Study on the Management Activities and the Characteristic of Food Restaurant Entrepreneur (외식업 창업자의 특성과 경영관리활동에 관한 연구)

  • This study is preliminary founding start-ups of restaurant entrepreneurs to study the characteristics of management in order to provide useful information was studied. Survey period is from 2013 March 15 to August 31. About the nature of the preparation and establishment founder findings restaurant entrepreneurs of Western Gyeongnam area were most often in the form of an independent establishment has been compiled, work experience and other industries operating experience was more than restaurant entrepreneurs of operating experience. Hypothesis Testing in accordance with results of this study are as follows. First, the 50 founders than 30 founders quickly when the customer complaint or that service, order food and non-food note is issued after obtaining the order or that provide food, no customer is often inconvenient check the sharing services, such as personnel activities were devoting a lot of effort. Second, the re-startups restaurant entrepreneurs than new startups restaurant entrepreneurs was founded after the founder of career-related customer complaints about food more active coping was, and re-startups restaurant entrepreneurs by the founder other than business founded by the founder of the food-related customer complaints more aggressively for coping, respectively. Third, restaurant entrepreneurs of the store operations management has integrity, words and actions match, such as the degree of belief in the promise of reliability and the possibility of failure, which means the degree of recognition and response efforts are having an impact deal. Fourth, restaurant of food service management services and after-sales service has impact on the founder of the self-efficacy and self-efficacy of pre-service features and reliability founder affecting. Fifth, the revenue of the restaurant for dealing with customer complaints management includes efforts are having an impact. Sixth, restaurant founder of reliability and customer care has influenced the self-efficacy.   • There is growing empirical evidence that passion is an important part of entrepreneurship and influences the intentions, behaviors and performance of entrepreneurs, employees and startups. Passion is especially important in an entrepreneurial context, given the effort and challenge that entrepreneurs starting a startup must overcome. The purpose of this study was to confirm the effect of the passion of startup entrepreneurs participating in the accelerator incubation program and the passion of accelerator entrepreneurs and managers on the entrepreneurial performance of incubator startups. In addition, we tried to confirm whether entrepreneurial self-efficacy plays a mediating role in this influence relationship. The survey was conducted online by startups entrepreneur who completed the accelerator incubation program. A total of 330 questionnaires were used for the analysis. As a result of the empirical analysis, it was confirmed that the passion of startup entrepreneurs and the passion of accelerator entrepreneurs and managers all had a positive (+) effect on the entrepreneurial performance of incubator startups. The influence of passion was found to be high in the order of startup entrepreneurs, accelerator entrepreneurs, and accelerator managers. It was confirmed that entrepreneurial self-efficacy plays a mediating role between the passion of startup entrepreneurs, the passion of accelerator entrepreneurs, and the entrepreneurial performance of incubator startups, respectively. However, no significant mediating role was identified between the passion of accelerator managers and the entrepreneurial performance of incubator startups. This study is significant in empirically confirming for the first time that the passion of accelerator entrepreneurs and managers has a positive effect on the entrepreneurial performance of incubator startups. The passion of accelerator entrepreneurs and managers is playing an important role as a hidden lynchpin in creating the entrepreneurial performance of incubator startups. In particular, since the passion of accelerator entrepreneurs has a great influence on the performance of incubator startups, it is necessary to recognize this fact and carefully examine their passion reputation when startups select accelerators.

창업실패관련 개인평가와 사업실패로 인한 손실경험이 재창업의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

  • 2015년 기업생멸 행정통계에 따르면, 우리나라의 최근 5년 동안('2010~2014년) 연평균 창업은 77만개, 폐업은 69만개인 것으로 나타났다. 지난 2015년 한해에만 개인사업자로 106만8313명이 창업을 하고 73만9420명이 폐업을 했다. 이는 하루 평균 3000명이 창업을 하고 2000명이 문을 닫는 셈이다. 실패를 경험한 기업인들은 여러 가지 심리적, 경제적 어려움에 직면하게 된다고 연구 보고되고 있다. 이같은 결과는 사업실패를 경험한 기업인들에 대한 케어의 필요성을 보여준다. 지난 2010년부터 정부가 실패기업인들에 대한 재기지원사업에 나서고는 있으나 재창업지원제도의 효과성에 대해서는 보장하기 어려운 상태다. 일각에서는 재창업지원이 양적인면에서는 활성화됐으나 질적으로는 아직 미흡하다고 지적이 나오고 있다. 이같은 상황에 착안하여 본 연구는 사업실패를 경험한 기업인들이 겪게되는 심리적 특성과 재기를 하고자 할 때 방해요소로 작용하는 감정요인에 초점을 맞추고자 한다. 따라서 선행연구를 통해 사업실패를 경험한 기업인들의 감정메카니즘을 규명한 모델(건강신념 모델:Health Belief Model)을 적용한 창업실패관련 개인평가와 사업실패경험(재무적 손실, 비재무적 손실)이 재창업의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 규명하고자 한다. 감정요인인 창업실패관련 개인평가는 지각된 심각성, 지각된 취약성, 지각된 장애로 구성했다. 또 창업실패관련 개인평가와 재창업의도 사이, 사업실패경험과 재창업의도 사이에 재창업지원정책, 창업자기효능감이 각각 조절작용을 하는지 유의미한 관계성을 알아보고자한다. 연구 대상은 정부 재창업지원 프로그램을 진행하고 있는 중소기업진흥공단, 서울산업진흥원, 재도전지원센터등 기관의 재창업지원을 받은 기업인을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 이들이 재창업지원서비스를 받기 전과 후에 대한 측정을 통해 실증분석을 하려고 한다.이 연구가 설정한 가설이 맞을 경우, 시사점으로는 정부의 재창업지원 프로그램의 효과성에 대한 검증이 될 것이다. 또 창업실패관련 감정메카니즘 규명으로 사업실패 기업인들의 재기를 도울 수 있는 재창업지원정책의 고도화가 가능해 질 것으로 판단된다.

The Effect of Perceived Loss of Financial·Market·Social Capital Based on Recurrence Intention of Failed Small Business : Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Fear of Failure and the Moderating of Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy (폐업 소상공인의 재무적자본·시장경쟁력·사회적자본 손실지각이 재기의도에 미치는 영향 : 실패두려움의 매개효과와 창업자기효능감의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • This study surveyed 413 small business owners who experienced closure to see how the loss perception experienced by small business owners affects their comeback through fear of failure. The analysis results are as follows. First, the larger the received loss of financial capital, market capital, and social capital, the greater the fear of failure. Second, the greater the fear of failure, the less willingness to re-start-up, but it did not affect the willingness to work. Third, perceived loss of financial capital, market capital, and social capital grew fear of failure, which negatively affected the willingness to re-start. However, as for the willingness to work, only the perception of loss to market competitiveness strengthened the willingness to work through fear of failure. This suggests that if you think you are out of business due to market competitiveness, you are more likely to choose to get a job than to start a business. Fourth, those with higher entrepreneurial self-efficiency had less effect of perceived loss on fair of failure than those with lower entrepreneurial loss. In other words, it can be seen that a person with high entrepreneurial self-efficiency is likely to start-up. It is noteworthy that despite the tendency to fail due to market competition and lack of understanding of risks, small business operators were most aware of the loss of social capital. This is presumed to have had the greatest impact on fear of failure because small business owners try to receive funding or business revitalization support through social networks such as acquaintances and relatives. Based on the above results, this study requires sufficient market research to secure a competitive advantage when preparing for start-ups through policy practice suggestions, and suggests ways to reduce financial loss through the establishment of sophisticated business plans.

The Influence of Entrepreneurial Experience on Entrepreneurial Intention: Mediation Effect of Social Cognitive Attributes (창업경험과 창업의도의 관계에 대한 연구: 사회인지적 요인의 매개효과 및 성별의 조절효과)

  • Identifying the factors that influence the formation of the entrepreneurial intention is important in cultivating entrepreneurs and inducing entrepreneurial innovation in the country. Previous studies have mainly examined the direct effects of social cognition attributes as predictors on entrepreneurial intentions or entrepreneurial activities. However, the fundamental factors that these social cognition attributes are derived from have not been sufficiently addressed in the field of entrepreneurship. Based on social cognitive theory and schema theory, this study assumes that an individual's entrepreneurial experience is an important antecedent factor in forming social cognitive attributes, and reveals the mechanism for how experience forms entrepreneurial intention. To this end, this study analyzes the influence of entrepreneurs' prior experience of entrepreneurial activities on entrepreneurial self-efficacy, opportunity recognition, and fear of failure which are considered to be the main variables that shape entrepreneurial intention. And it analyzes how these factors have a significant effect on entrepreneurship intention. Along with this, the mediating role of these social cognitive attributes is analyzed in order to understand the path that leads from entrepreneurial experience to entrepreneurial intention. This study also suggests how gender moderates the effect of entrepreneurship experience on social cognitive attributes. As a result of the analysis, it was found that entrepreneurial experience increase entrepreneurial self-efficacy and opportunity recognition of entrepreneurs, and decrease the fear of failure. These social perception attribute significantly mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial experience and entrepreneurial intention. This study also found that there are significant moderating effects of gender on the relationship of entrepreneurial experience and both of entrepreneurial self-efficacy and fear of failure. This study also analyzed the impact of the entrepreneurial experience of failure, which corresponds to the detailed experience. Similar to the results of entrepreneurial experience analysis, entrepreneurial experience of failure plays a role in enhancing entrepreneurial self-efficacy. However, its effect on opportunity recognition and fear of failure were not significant. An empirical analysis of data related to 25,047 entrepreneurs from 87 countries, using the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM), shows the differences in the formation of individuals' entrepreneurial intentions according to entrepreneurial experience and the mediating role of social cognitive attributes. The study has embodied the social cognitive theory on entrepreneurial intention by shedding light on the variables that are important but alienated for increasing entrepreneurial intention. Moreover, the study enhances the understanding of cognitive processes leading from individual experiences to entrepreneurial intentions. This study also emphasizes the importance of differentiated approach by gender for boosting entrepreneurial intention through analysis of moderating effect of gender.

Entrepreneurship Education and Entrepreneurial Intention: Fear to Start-up and Start-up Communities in Class (기업가 정신 교육과 창업 의도: 창업 실패에 대한 두려움, 창업 동아리를 중심으로)

  • Fear to start-up failures has been known to have a negative impact on entrepreneurial intention. This is one of the reasons why the government adopts a policy to help university students overcome their fear of start-ups. Setting educational goals to foster innovative and progressive entrepreneurs, universities have been conducting entrepreneurship education, but it is hard to say that constructive results have been achieved so far. Rather than adopting the practice of optional entrepreneurship education, there is a need to have all university freshmen mandatorily take the course of entrepreneurship education. This study aims to uncover the impact of more aggressive entrepreneurship education position in the university by analyzing empirical data. The relationship between an entrepreneurship level and entrepreneurial intention was tested, and start-up fear was also considered. In the research model, self-leadership and self-efficacy were included as regressors to entrepreneurship levels. Especially, this study tested moderate effects of start-up community during the course. The results from the sample of 2,500 freshmen indicate that entrepreneurship level is significantly improved by taking the course; however, fear to start-up failures remains still. In addition, empirical findings show that putting start-up communities in the entrepreneurship education helps students by moderating self-leadership and self-efficacy. This study extends our knowledge of entrepreneurship education in university by analyzing university freshmen data empirically.

청년자영업자의 기업가정신이 사업성과에 미치는 영향: 긍정심리자본의 매개효과를 중심으로

  • 우리나라 전체 자영업자에서 청년 자영업자의 비율은 감소하고, 중장년 자영업자의 비율이 증가하고 있다. 또한 청년층 자영업의 평균 지속기간은 37개월로 대략 3년의 자영업 유지기간을 보이고 있으나, 청년 자영업자 40% 정도는 2년 이내에 자영업에서 이탈하는 것으로 나타났다. 청년자영업자 사업의 짧은 지속 기간과 높은 이탈률에도 불구하고, 우리나라의 자영업 시장구조가 50~60대 중장년층을 중심으로 형성되어 있기 때문에 20~30대 청년층의 경우 분석 및 논의 대상에서 큰 비중을 차지하지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 청년 자영업자의 미래지향적이며, 창조적인 아이디어를 갖고 적극적으로 실행해보고자 하는 성향과 위험을 감수하는 기업가정신이 사업성과에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 상황에 주목하였으며, 이러한 상황에서 개인의 '자기효능감, 낙관주의, 복원력, 희망'과 같은 긍정심리자본이 매개한다고 가정하고 연구모형을 설정하였다. 이를 위해 기업가정신의 구성요소인 '혁신성, 진취성, 위험감수성'을 독립변수로, '균형성과관리(BSC)의 재무적 관점, 고객 관점, 내부 프로세스 관점, 학습과 성장 관점'을 도입한 사업성과를 종속변수로 설정하였다. 또한 선행연구를 기반으로 긍정심리자본을 매개변수로 채택하여 변수 간의 관계를 실증적 분석을 통하여 검증하고자 한다.

A Study on the Factors Affecting the Entrepreneurial Intentions of Manufacturing Industry Employees: Focused on the Effects of Entrepreneurship and Personal Characteristics (중소 제조업 종사자의 창업의도에 미치는 영향 요인에 관한 연구: 기술개발 지원사업의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • This research attempts to analyze the factors influencing the entrepreneurial intention of employees in manufacturing field. In particular, key factors of entrepreneurship and personal characteristics explain a significant association with the intention to start-up. And study whether R&D support from public enterprise adjusts intention to entrepreneurial Intention. This study conducted a online survey on 292 small and medium-sized enterprise manufacturing employees in May 2020. Using linear regression model and binary logistic model. The main study results are the following: First, among the key factors(innovativeness, proactiveness, risk-taking) of entrepreneurship, proactiveness hardly influenced the opportunity competency. Second, among the factors(risk-taking propensity, locus of control, tolerance for ambiguity) of personal characteristics, locus of control hardly influenced the opportunity competency. Third, opportunity competency(opportunity recognition and opportunity evaluation) had positive influence to entrepreneurial intention. Fourth, the study investigated the mediated effect of opportunity competency. The result showed that among the factors of entrepreneurship and personal characteristics, only two factors that are proactiveness and locus of control were not mediated by opportunity competency. and opportunity evaluation was acted as a mediator between proactiveness and entrepreneurial Intention, compared with opportunity recognition. Lastly, public enterprise's R&D supporting moderated the entrepreneurial intention). Based on the result, the study showed that first, the key factors of entrepreneurship except for proactiveness and personal characteristics(risk-taking propensity, locus of control, tolerance for ambiguity) except for locus of control affect the intention to start-up, repeatedly. This results are explained that employees have not started a business yet. Second, research on start-up suggests the need to analyze factors differentiated before and after the start-ups. Based on the results, entrepreneurship and personal characteristics show that study on the effects of start-up intentions should be carried out before and after the actual start-up takes place, and can be used as effective data in policies to promoting start-ups in manufacturing field.

Effects of High School Students' Career Education Counseling on Career Decision Satisfaction and Self-Efficacy (고등학생의 학교 진로교육 상담이 교육 만족도와 진로결정 자기효능감에 미친 효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 'career decision making', 'school career education activities and participation', and 'school career education satisfaction' after 568 high school students. Methods: The subjects were surveyed after the counseling training. Results: 49.3% of the respondents answered that they had "decided but considered" in the "career decision information items" of the questionnaire about the subjects after the school career counseling education. 28.0% of the parents' advice was the most helpful when choosing their career, and 52.2% of the career decision making at school. There were 13 items in 'participation in school career education activity', and the average value was 3.49. The highest score was 3.66 points for "college or major experience" and the lowest score of 3.27 points for career-linked career education. In 'satisfaction with School Career Education', 94.7% of creative experiential activities and 94% of career and vocational courses were enthusiasts, and entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship experience (10.6%) were low. The career decision - making self - efficacy was also high in the group with high satisfaction of career education. Conclusions: School career decisions for high school students were effective when they were devoted to parental advice, university experience, creative vocational and career, and vocational education. The career decision - making self - efficacy was high in the group with high satisfaction of career education. Therefore, career counseling education considered adequate if it is devoted to education professionals.

A Study on the Information Protection Intention of Digital Healthcare Service Providers (디지털 헬스케어 서비스 제공자의 정보보호의도에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigates the IPI (Information Protection Intention) of DHS (Digital Healthcare Service) providers by introducing PMT (Protection Motivation Theory). This study examines the effects of protection motivation, such as threat appraisal and coping appraisal, on IPI, such as ICI(Induction Control Intention) and SDI(Self Defense Intention). The research model, based on the PMT, adopted severity, vulnerability, reaction efficacy and self-efficacy as independent variables. The research model was validated through quantitative research, a survey of 222 DHS providers in South Korea, using structural equation modeling. The results show that (1) a clear awareness of the consequences of security threats increases the understanding of DHS providers on the severity of closure of healthcare information, and thus may decreases abuse of DHS by providers; (2) user confidence and satisfaction on the security system may make them be confident that they can handle the closure of healthcare information by themselves; and (3) although DHS providers are realizing the consequences of closure of healthcare information, they think that they are unlikely to encounter such situations. As a result of this study, venture companies that provide DHS need to provide contents that can continuously increase providers' security level in order to increase providers' information protection intention. It suggests that IPI is important through trust of healthcare service providers.
