  • 본 논문에서는 안드로이드 기반의 스마트폰에서 운전자의 운전 패턴에 따른 연료 소비량을 감소하기 위한 운전 습관을 유도하는 방법을 제안하였다. 이 시스템은 차량의 정확한 내부 상태 정보를 바탕으로 운전 상태를 스마트폰으로 제공한다. 차량의 상태정보를 추출하기 위해서 차량 네트워크인 CAN 버스를 사용하였으며, 이를 하드웨어로 구현하였다. 효율적인 ECO_Driving을 위한 차량 데이터들을 추출하여 분석하였으며, 이들 데이터를 바탕으로 운전자에게 에코여부를 제공하는 애플리케이션을 구현하였다. 이 시스템으로 경제운전으로 배기가스 감축, 에너지절약과 사고 예방을 유도할 수 있다.

  • In the paper, embedded system that manage, control the status of vehicle through internet and mobile instruments are designed. The network is composed of the distributed control system using CAN communication, where communication is possible with two lines, and the bluetooth, where wireless communication is possible. We also designed the Embedded system to make up the web server only for the vehicle, made it possible to catch hold of the conditions of the vehicle and control the vehicle through internet by interfacing the destributed controller. We also made such a Web Server possible th be monitored and controlled by the mobile instruments such as PDA, mobile phones.

  • In this paper, a telematics service platform, which supports the management and diagnosis of automobile and controls the automobile's convenience equipment is designed and implemented. Using the service platform, telematics software can be developed independent of the lower part of automobiles's network devices, each hardware devices, and wireless network devices. The platform classifies each device's service and provides it with the fixed form of API(Application Programming Interface). This API consists of the wireless connection for a mobile device, the CAN network for controlling an automobile, the receiving part of GPS data for location base service, and the message parser for different data formats of different network.

  • The high performance intelligent robots have become to use a lot of sensors, actuators and controllers which are connected via bus-type networks while the point to point connection was widely used in-robot networks of existing robots. The bus topology makes the robot system share data internally and it can also reduce the weight of the robot because of smaller wiring harness. The CAN is one of serial bus communication protocols typically used for in-vehicle networks and now it can also be used for in-robot networks because of its low cost and reliability. A performance evaluation system for this type of networked system is developed to analyze the real-time operation and the reliability of a serial-bus network, and the usefulness of the developed evaluation system is shown by some experiments for a network of many CAN nodes.

  • Recently, CAN(Controller Area Network) being used in vehicle network system is suitable Network Protocol for smart vehicles with a future that need many ECUs, and it guarantees stability and reliability. It is revealed that being equipped many ECU could reduce the increasing of energy consumption and energy cost from the increasing of Wiring Harness's space and weight. In this paper, future smart vehicle control Air conditioner and heater for convenient and comfortable driving as using CAN protocol and implement auto control system According to driver's requirement using temperature in the vehicle.

  • MOST(Media Oriented Systems Transport) is a network protocol for vehicle multimedia, where it guarantees large bandwidth and reliability. However, previous MOST device utilized I2C or I2S communication method to data manage or transfer, Bandwidth of MOST have increased and additional equipments are added to one device, requiring a larger form of bandwidth communication method. Therefore, this research suggests of the methods in improving the efficiency of asynchronous data transfer, and suggest an algorithm, which will improve the reliability.

Recognition of Special Vehicles Using Roof Marks (루프 마크를 이용한 특수차량 인식)

  • In case of an emergency on a busy road of a city, drivers should make way for special vehicles such as police cars, fire engines, or ambulance as soon as possible. If road infrastructures recognize the movements of special vehicles, and transfer alert message to traffic signal controllers and normal cars through wireless network such as WAVE or TPEG, normal cars can prepare to make way in advance. As a result, it help special vehicles move faster. In this paper, we install a roof mark on the roof of a special vehicle, detect the mark through a mark recognition algorithm which includes perspective transformation, and get the inner information by decoding the digital pattern on it. The experiment results show that mark can be recognized 100% and 93.3% of inner digital data of the mark can be recognized, when the size of a mark is larger than $88cm{\times}88cm$ and the mark moves at a speed of 50km/s.

  • According to increase of the number of electronic devices for user comfort and safety, electronic systems are being constructed by using network to effectively control the devices. In this paper, we design and implement the MOST network diagnostic system by using wireless LAN to diagnose MOST network and the devices connected by the network and to effectively manage them. MOST, which is a vehicle multimedia network standard for the next generation, is being used for construction of car infotainment systems, and enables to develop various devices which are required for them. The wireless diagnostic system implemented in this paper enables to self-diagnose MOST network and also to check errors by diagnosing status of MOST electronic devices. We also can check and manage status of a in-vehicle MOST network system using mobile devices based on wireless LAN.

  • IVN (in-vehicle network) connects various electronic modules in the vehicles. It requires real-time, low noise, high reliability, and high flexibility. It includes CAN (controller area network), CAN-FD (CAN flexible data rate), FlexRay, LIN (local interconnect network), SENT (single edge nibble transmission), and PSI5 (peripheral sensor interface 5). In this paper, their operation priciples, target applications, and pros and cons are explained.

  • 국내에서 차량용 멀티미디어 네트워크인 MOST에서 내부 네트워킹에 관한 사례는 있으나 MOST 네트워크에서 TCP/IP 지원을 위한 MAMAC 프로토콜에 관한 사례는 알려져 있지 않다. MAMAC 프로토콜은 MOST 네트워크와 Ethernet과의 패킷전송을 위한 효율적 프로토콜로 MOST협회에서 표준화를 하였고 현재 MOST MAMAC Specification 1.1까지 진행되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 MOST 네트워크와 Ethernet간의 데이터 전송을 위한 MAMAC 프로토콜을 분석하며 TCP/IP를 지원하는 MOST 장비 개발 시 MAMAC 프로토콜기술 적용 방안을 제시하였다.
