The present study was investigate the effects of feedback on mathematical achievement and attitude toward mathematics. Referring to the improvement of mathematics achievement, feedback groups(group I and II) turns out to be more efficient than the normal learning group(group III)(p<.05), there found no significant differ between group I and II(p>.05). As for the poor level of mathematics achievement, feedback groups(group I and II) turns out to be more efficient than the normal learning group(group III)(p<.05), there for fine level, found no significant differ between feedback group(group I and II)and the normal learning group(group III)(p>.05). Referring to the improvement of attitude toward mathematics, feedback groups(group I and II) turns out to be more efficient than the normal learning group(group III)(p<.05), there found no significant differ between feedback groups(group I and II)and the normal learning group(group III)(p>.05). As for the level(find or poor) of mathematics achievement, feedback groups(group I and II) turns out to be more efficient than the normal learning group(group III)(p<.05), there found no significant differ between feedback group(group I and II) and the normal learning group(groupIII)(p>.05).
The goal of this study was to investigate the differences in the effect of feedback from different providers on elementary school students' science achievement and to examine the responses of the students regarding the feedback. Three 6th grade classes were chosen to be assigned as experimental group 1, experimental group 2, and control group, respectively. In experimental group 1, the teacher provided feedback with students concerning the formative evaluations which were conducted periodically. Experimental group 2 was the one in which students were organized into small groups to compose and exchange feedback with one another. No feedback was of offered to students in the control group. The results of the science achievement test indicated ,that the provision of feedback by the teacher resulted in more gains in student academic achievement. The interviews with students revealed that the learners made positive responses to the feedback provided by the teacher while they showed negative attitudes toward the feedback exchange among students. There were also differences in student responses to feedback between high and low achievers in science. Implications for science lessons and science education research were presented and discussed.

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of neurofeedback (NFB) on attention in college students with ADHD. Participants were 27 university students, 10 in an NFB training group (experiment group), eight in a CBT group (comparison group) and nine in a no-treatment group. The score of CAARS-K decreased significantly in both the NFB group and the CBT group relative to the no-treatment group. Additionally, the score of the digit span test increased significantly in the NFB group, CBT, and no-treatment group, and the scores of these three groups differed significantly. Moreover, significant changes in EEG were found in the NFB Group, while the CBT group showed no significant changes in EEG. The significant change in EEG implies that NFB training improved the stability of brain function on the cerebral neurological level. The effects of improved attention remained after 5 weeks in both the NFB and CBT group. Finally, implications, limitations, and suggestions for future studies were discussed.
Recently, many organizations are utilizing the team system. However, researches on a technique for efficient and effective feedback to improve a team performance is few. This study compared the relative effects of individual and group feedback on the quantity and quality of work performance. The task was to type English documents on a PC computer and both the number of words typed (quantity) and the percentage of correctly typed words (quality) were measured. Mixed design was adopted and 48 participants were randomly assigned to either individual or group feedback condition. Each group consisted of three participants and completed four sessions together. Under the individual feedback condition, each participant was provided with information on his/her own work performance, while under the group feedback condition, three participants were provided with information on their total work performance. Results showed that both feedback were effective to increase the quantity of performance. However, the effect size of treatment was more high under the group feedback than individual feedback. In addition, the accuracy of typed words was significantly improved only under the group feedback condition. Therefore, the group feedback was more effective and efficient than individual feedback to increase team performance. However, more studies are needed to generalize these results, especially, it is necessary to consider the cultural differences and type of task in the future studies.
This study explored the effects of neurofeedback on electroencephalogram, impulsivity, sensation seeking, game addiction symptoms and game craving of university students with game addiction symptoms. Twelve university students participated in this study, six were assigned to the experimental group, and the rest were assigned to the control group. The experiment group received 20 sessions of neurofeedback, but the control group received any treatment. The neurofeedback group showed more significant improvement in EEG, game addiction symptom severity and impulsivity than control group, and the improvements were maintained at follow up.

This study investigated the effects of situational context feedback in CAI upon students' conceptual understanding, science learning motivation, and the perception of CAI. Seventh graders (N = 114) from a coed middle school in Incheon were assigned to the situational context feedback CAI (SCF-CAI), the feedback CAI (F-CAI) and the CAI groups, and were taught about ‘three states of matter' and ‘motion of molecules' for 8 class hours. Prior science achievement test score used as a blocking variable. Two-way ANCOVA results revealed that the conceptual understanding test scores of the SCF-CAI group were significantly higher than those of the other groups. For the higher achievers, the scores of the F-CAI group in science learning motivation test were significantly higher than those of the CAI group. However, there was no significant difference among the lower achievers of three groups. The higher achievers in the SCFCAI and the F-CAI groups perceived the CAI more positively than those of the CAI group. The lower achievers in the FCAI group perceived the CAI more negatively than those of the other groups. Educational implications are discussed.

In this study, the effects of feedback types in self-assessment on the students' science concept understanding and science-related attitudes were investigated. Student's perceptions towards the self-assessment and the feedback provided were also examined. Ten classes from a middle school were chosen. Five of those classes were assigned to the comparative group that any type of feedback was not provided and the other five classes were assigned to the experimental group which feedback was provided. The experimental group was further divided into three groups for implement of three types of feedback. Experimental group A was given feedback in the form of written comments and experimental group B was provided feedback through correct-wrong response to the students answer. Experimental group C was provided oral feedback to the whole class. The tests of science-related attitudes were administered before and after the instruction period. The science concepts understanding test was done only after the instruction. There were significant differences between the experimental group and comparative group in understanding of scientific concepts. The enhancement of science-related attitudes was also significantly higher for the experimental group. There were significant differences between the experimental groups in science-related attitudes. However, there were no significant differences in understanding of scientific concepts in relation to the types of feedback in experiment groups. Interviews with the students of the experimental groups showed that students had positive attitudes towards self-assessment and the types of feedback. And they regarded self-assessment and feedback as helping them understand the science concepts. In conclusion, it was acknowledged that providing feedback in self-assessment showed considerably positive influences on the improvement of the understanding of scientific concepts and science-related attitudes.
