위성 탑재채 지향성능 향상을 위한 가변댐핑 반수동 진동제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on Variable Damping Semi-Passive Vibration Isolation for Enhancing Pointing Performance of On-Board Payload)

  • 위성 탑재체의 지향성능을 향상시키기 위하여 반수동 진동제어법을 제안하고, 시뮬레이션에 의해 진동절연 효과를 검증하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 반수동 진동제어법은 고주파수 영역에서의 저댐핑 수동제어와, 구조물의 공진을 포함하는 저주파수 영역에서의 고댐핑 수동제어가 갖는 진동절연 효과를 동시에 만족시키기 위해 고안되었다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 반수동 진동제어법이 상기의 효과를 구현하는데 있어 효과적임을 나타낸다.

  • Launch vehicles and satellites experience severe vibration and pyroshock during the flight phase. These severe dynamic loading could result in the malfunction of electric devices which equipped in the launch vehicle and satellite. In this paper, mesh washer isolators are applied to attenuate these severe shock and vibration and isolation performances are enhanced by applying pseudoelasitic SMA wire material. Through random vibration and ground pyroshock tests, outstanding isolation performances are studied. Especially, comparison of isolation performances due to the change of pre-compressive displacement of mesh washer itself are suggested and applicablity to the adaptive vibration control are confirmed.

압전 하이브리드 마운트의 진동제어 성능에 대한 실험적 고찰 (Experimental Investigation on Vibration Control Performances of the Piezoelectric Hybrid Mount)

  • 본 연구에서는 자동차 엔진에 적용되는 고무마운트의 성능을 극대화하여 시동초기 진동특성를 개선하기 위해 능동형 하이브리드 마운트를 제안하고 진동절연 성능을 실험적으로 고찰하고자 한다. 제안된 하이브리드 마운트는 수동형 고무요소와 능동형 압전작동기로 구성되었으며, 동적 특성과 제어력의 실험적 고찰을 통해 하이브리드 마운트가 제작되었다. 수직방향의 진동을 고려하여 관성질량을 갖는 압전-고무 하이브리드 마운트의 동적 지배방정식을 수학적으로 모델링하였으며 상태 공간 방정식으로 표현하였다. 본 연구에서는 진동을 절연하기 위해 강건한 슬라이딩 모드 제어기가 구성되어 진동제어 실험에 적용되었다. 마지막으로 넓은 주파수 영역에서 진동제어 성능을 실험적으로 고찰하였으며 주파수 영역에서의 전달율과 시간영역에서 진동절연 성능을 평가하였다.

SMA 메쉬 와셔를 적용한 우주용 냉각기 수동형 진동절연기의 궤도 미소진동 절연성능 검증 (On-orbit Micro-vibration Isolation Performance Verification for Spaceborne Cryocooler Passive Vibration Isolator Using SMA Mesh Washer)

  • Pulse tube-type spaceborne cryocooler is widely used to cool down the infrared sensor of observation satellites. However, such cryocooler also generates micro-vibration which is the one of main sources to seriously affect the image quality during its on-orbit operation. Therefore, to comply with the mission requirement of high resolution observation satellite, additional technical efforts have been required. In this study, we proposed a spaceborne cryocooler passive vibration isolator using SMA mesh washer, which guarantees the structural safety of both the micro-vibration disturbance source and itself under harsh launch vibration loads without an additional holding mechanism and the micro-vibration isolation performance on orbit environment. To verify the micro-vibration isolation performance of the proposed vibration isolator, we performed the micro-vibration isolation measurement test using the dedicated micro-vibration measurement device proposed in this study.

진동절연을 위한 에어컨 압축기의 파이프 배열기술 개발 (Development of Pipe configuration of Air Conditioner Compressor for Vibration Isolation)

  • Rubber mounts so called grommets and pipes are two major paths of vibration transmission from a compressor, an important vibration source in an air conditioner, to the whole unit. A procedure of configuring the suction and discharge pipes of the compressor was developed in this paper so as to reduce the vibration transmission through the pipes as well as the grommets. Through investigating the effects of shapes and connecting disrections of pipe elements on vibration transmission, a guideline to configure the pipe layout, which enables to reduce vibration transmission, was proposed. The initial pipe layout by the guideline was optimized with the objective function, minimization of boty vibration transmission and the cost, and with the constraints to yield the final dimensions of the pipes. The procedure not only minimizes the transmitted force to the circumferential devices but enables to eliminate rubber blocks or dampers, which are generally used to avoid resonances of the pipe system.

레버형 반공진 진동 절연기의 진동 특성 연구 (Study on Performances of the Lever Type Anti-resonance Vibration Isolator)

  • Parametric study on the lever type dynamic anti-resonance vibration isolator (DAVI) is executed to introduce the system in the path of vibration transmission for the vibratory response attenuation. The effects of inertia and location of the lever on the system performances are investigated using FEA. The effects of other parameters such as ratio of lever lengths, ratio of masses and the location of pivot are studied with analytical approach. According to the results, all the parameters except lever location affect the system response in their own ways. Consequently, the optimal lever type DAVI for translational or rotational system can be efficiently designed by selecting system parameters using the procedure introduced in this study.

  • This paper presents a proof-of-concept study on the evaluation of torsional vibration isolation performance through in-situ output torque measurement by using a non-contacting magneto-elastic torque transducer installed in the vehicle driveline system. The de-trending processing is first conducted to extract the torsional vibration from the measured driveline output torque. In order to estimate the transmissibility, primary performance indicator of a vibration isolator, the magnitude of transmitted torsional vibration with different frequencies is compared. From the conservative estimation results, the torsional damper built in a lock-up clutch of a torque converter is identified to be a vibration isolator. The evaluation results show that the fluid damping by torque converter outperforms the vibration isolation function of a torsional damper, and the isolation performance needs to be enhanced.

자동차용 고무호스의 진동 절연성능 향상에 관한 연구 (Improvement of Insulation Performance of Vehicle Rubber Hoses)

  • We considered an approach in terms of materials for improvement of insulation performance of vehicle rubber hoses. Ethylene propylene rubber(EPDM) for heater hoses in cooling system and acrylic rubber(AR) for intercooler hose in intake system were chosen for mixing for the vibration and noise performance. We modified EPDM and AR through changing compound of base polymer, reinforcement fillers and additives. Dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA) was used to measure viscoelastic properties such as shear modulus and loss factor($tan{\delta}$). Vehicle acceleration test was also conducted to observe indoor changes in insulation performance of hoses.
