Estimation of the Dynamic Behavior for Korean High Speed Train at 350km/h using the Accelerations according to the UIC Code 518OR (UIC 518의 진동 가속도 계측을 통한 한국형 고속전철의 350km/h 주행 동적 거동 평가)

  • The characteristics of dynamic vibration are generally analyzed by an acceleration of a car body of high speed train and the acceleration can be applied to evaluation of running safety. The test of process and the analysis method about it are well explained on UIC Code 518 OR which is the spacial international standard about running safety and dynamic behavior on the line test for railway vehicle. Korean High Speed Train designed to operate at speed 350km/h has been tested on high speed line since it was developed in 2002 and it recorded the highest speed 352.4km/h at the 16th Dec. 2004 in Korea. This paper includes the analysis of running behavior of this train at speed 350km/h and the analysis of dynamic safety is presented in it, extending to the range of high speed while the UIC 518 limit the speed below 200km/h.

  • Torque fluctuation of engine generate gear rattle noise of transmission and many researches have been studied to decrease rattle noise by adjusting clutch damper system. So design optimization of clutch system is very important to decrease rattle noise and need knowing clutch dynamic torque at real vehicle driving condition. This makes it possible to measure clutch dynamic torque by using a small-size magnetic sensor. We install a small-size magnetic sensor on the input shaft of the transmission and measure the relative angular displacement between clutch hub and disc plate. We can obtain the clutch torque correspond to the angular displacement in the clutch torsional characteristics test. The object of this research is to measure clutch dynamic torque on real vehicle condition. Therefore, Clutch dynamic torque is very useful for investigating operating range of clutch according to engine torque and predicting the damping performance of torsional vibration on the powertrain.

  • This paper demonstrates how ambient vibration measurements at a limited number of locations can be effectively utilized to estimate parameters of a finite element model of a large-scale structural system involving a large number of elements. System identification using ambient vibration measurements presents a challenge requiring the use of special identification techniques, which ran deal with very small magnitudes of ambient vibration contaminated by noise without the knowledge of input farces. In the present study, the modal parameters such as natural frequencies, damping ratios, and mode shapes of the structural system were estimated by means of appropriate system identification techniques including the random decrement method. Moreover, estimation of parameters such as the stiffness matrix of the finite element model from the system response measured by a limited number of sensors is another challenge. In this study, the system stiffness matrix was estimated by using the quadratic optimization involving the computed and measured modal strain energy of the system, with the aid of a sensitivity relationship between each element stiffness and the modal parameters established by the second order inverse modal perturbation theory. The finite element models thus identified represent the actual structural system very well, as their calculated dynamic characteristics satisfactorily matched the observed ones from the ambient vibration test performed on a large-scale structural system subjected primarily to ambient wind excitations. The dynamic models identified by this study will be used for design of an active mass damper system to be installed on this structure fer suppressing its wind vibration.

  • The purpose of this study is to accurately estimate the wind-induced responses of a tall building structure for using the estimated responses in the process of calculating the optimal force of an active control device. Kalman filter was used for the estimation process and a 3-storied model structure on a shaking table was tested for the verification of the estimation accuracy. The system matrices of the model were constructed based on the mode parameters obtained by the system identification. The estimated displacement matched up well with the measured one. Finally, the wind-induced responses of a real 39-storied building structure excited by the typhoon MUIFA were estimated.

  • In this paper, the image modelling of road's lane markings is established using view frustum(VF) model. From this model, a measurement system of lane markings and obstacles is proposed. The system also involve the real time processing of the 3D position coordinate and the distance data from the camera to the points on the 3D world coordinate by virtue of the camera calibration. In order to reduce their measurement error, an useful algorithm for which analyze the geometric variations due to traveling vehicle's fluctuation using VF model is proposed. In experiments, without correction, for instance, the $0.4^{\circ}$ of pitching rotation gives the error of $0.4{\sim}0.6m$ at the distance of 10m, but the more far distance cause exponentially the more error. We con finned that this algorithm can be reduced less than 0.1m of error at the same condition.

  • 수평자세제어에 대한 활용은 다양한 진동이 발생하는 환경에서 정확한 수평제어를 필요로 하는 모든 분야에 활용할 수 있다. 이러한 수평제어에 대한 문제는 다수의 액추에이터(Actuator)를 어떠한 방법으로 제어하는가에 따라 그 성능이 달라지며, 발생한 외란에 대하여 어떠한 방법으로 외란을 계측하고 특성을 분석하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다. 이러한 비선형성이 강한 수평자세제어에 대하여 인공지능기법인 신경회로망의 학습기능을 활용하여 그 수평자세 제어에 대한 성능을 연구하고 있는 추세에 있다. 본 논문에서는 고속이며 신뢰성을 보장하고 있는 CAN 통신방식을 활용하여 3개의 리니어 액추에이터(Linear Actuator)를 동시에 제어하도록 하고, 플랜트의 기울어진 상태는 자이로센서를 활용하여 플랜트의 상태를 지능적으로 판단하게 하였다. 또한 플랜트에 발행하는 왜란은 수평자세제어를 위한 플랜트 위에 볼(ball)을 놓아 비선형적인 왜란이 발생하도록 하였다. 이러한 왜란에 대하여 영상처리 기법을 활용하여 지능적으로 제어하도록 하여 CAN 통신의 활용성과 영상처리시스템(Image Processing System)의 활용성 및 지능제어의 활용성을 제시하고자 한다.

  • While high speed / precision investigating for maximization of Textile Machinery business is requesting a machine which has highly endurance, stability and reliance abilities following customer request. In this research, load volume that gives influence on loom is measured and analyzed for water jet loom in real operation time to driving system adhered torque sensor to each a module. As well, measurement and analysis technology are developed about torque and vibration of driving systems for textile machinery by comparing dynamical analysis of water jet loom with gained result, basic materials about development of high value added textile machinery which has endurance and stability are presented.

  • This paper presents development of meander monitoring system base reliable detection at conveyer belt used for materials transport line of steel company. Conventional detection method is losed the confidence, because of the place with bad surroundings of measurement so much that materials production line are completely exposed to dust, moisture and vibration. For the solution of this problem, we developed infrared meander detection system using the infrared sensor array and one chip microprocessor which is available for bad surroundings and inexpensive. The reliability of the system was estimated by experiment.

A Study on the Characteristics of the Upper-Body Surface for Clothing Construction: Focus on Women Aged 60 or Older (의복설계를 위한 상반신체표면특성 연구 -60세 이상 노년여성을 대상으로-)

  • 본 연구는 노년여성을 위한 의복 원형을 설계하기 위하여 60∼80세 의 노년여성을 대상으로 직접 계측을 실시하여 체형을 유형화하고 동작에 따른 체표면 특성을 분석하였다. 인자분석을 실시한 결과 상반신 비만요인, 높이요인, 상반신 앞면길이, 어깨 형태, 상반신 뒷면 길이, 어깨 경사도, 목형태, 진동깊이의 8개 인자가 추출되었다. 군집분석에 의한 체형분류 결과, 유형 1은 상반신의 골격이 가장 작고 왜소하며 가슴의 하수가 작은편의 앞으로 굴신된 체형이며, 유형 2는 키가 작고 보통인 체형으로 상반신의 앞뒤면 길이가 짧으며 가슴의 하수가 크고 어깨가 넓고 약간 앞으로 숙여진 체형이다. 유형 3은 키가 가장 크고 등과 어깨가 두꺼운 골격이 큰 체형이다. 유형 4는 키가 약간 크고 마른 체형에 상반신 앞면길이 인자가 큰 유형으로 약간 뒤로 젖혀진 체형이라 할 수 있다. 동작에 따른 체표면의 변화를 델마토그래프법 (Dermatograph method)에 의해 측정 한 결과, 가로 방향에서 동작에 따라 유의한 차이를 나타낸 기준선은 뒤목점-어깨끝점길이, 어깨 길이 및 앞가슴둘레선, 후액와선이며, 세로 방향에서는 어깨끝점-BP-허리중심점, 어깨중심에서 앞허리선까지의 앞길이 및 옆선길이로 나타났다.

A Study on the Development of Men′s Basic Bodice Patterns According to Somatotypes (체형별 남성상의원형 개발에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 적합성과 기능성이 고려된 체형별 남성 상의 원형 패턴을 개발하는데 있다. 피험자는 인체계측자료와 측면체형 사진에 의해 선정하고, 체형은 굴신체형, 표준체형, 반신체형으로 분류하였다. 체형별 실험 원형 패턴의 평가를 위하여 기존원형을 선정하였으며, 연구 결과는 다음과 같다; 1. 착의평가 결과 표준체형은 대부분의 항목에서 적합하였으나, 굴신체형과 반신체형에서는 많은 차이가 있었다. 이러한 차이는 앞길이와 등길이 뿐만 아니라 여유량과 윗 가슴둘레에 서 나타난다. 앞품과 뒤품은 외관에 의해 많은 영향을 받으며, 증가된 옆품은 앞품과 뒤품의 부족분을 보충하는 역할을 하였다. 따라서 실험패턴은 기존패턴보다 각 체형에 더욱 적합하며, 체형 적합성과 동작기능성이 고려된 의복 제작을 위한 패턴설계는 인체의 구조와 동작연구에 의해 가능하였다. 2. 기본원형 패턴 설계를 위한 필요치수는 목뒤높이, 등길이, 앞길이, 윗 가슴둘레, 앞품과 뒤품이며, 체형분류의 기준은 윗 가슴둘레, 앞품, 뒤품, 앞길이, 등길이이다. 이와 같은 결과를 근거로 가슴둘레 선은 [(B/2+B/10), 뒤진동깊이는 [(B/10+목뒤높이/10)]로 설정하고, 앞내림은 1.5cm로 하였다.
