The Influence of Parent's Accomplishment Pressure and Career Guidance on Children's Career Development (부모의 성취압력 및 진로지도가 아동의 진로발달에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of parent's accomplishment pressure and career guidance on children's career development. The subjects in this study were 59 six-graders in an elementary school. Added to this, this study was to understand the course of elementary school children's career development. For the study, research questions on influence of parent's accomplishment pressure and career guidance on children's career development were set up. The study showed three findings. First, there was significant correlations between parent's accomplishment pressure, and career guidance and children's career development. Parent's accomplishment pressure showed a positive correlation with career development and career guidance had a significant correlation with children's career development. The sub factors of career guidance, except for emotional support, were also significantly correlated with the sub factors of children's career development. Second, Parent's accomplishment pressure didn't show significant effect on fitness of career choice, sex-prejudice and pride, but showed significant effects on total career development, career directivity, career comprehension, self-comprehension and self- control. Third, parent's career guidance showed additional impact on children's career development. But emotional support, which is the sub-fact of career guidance, had no correlation with career development.

The Effect of College Students' Ego Status on Career Aspiration and Job Choice Value (대학생의 자아상태가 진로포부와 직업선택가치에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of College Students' Ego Status on career aspiration and job choice value. In order to investigate this questionnaire, 120 students from the Tourism Management Department of S University in Gyeonggi-do were surveyed. The questionnaire was reconstructed on the basis of previous studies and total of 45 items. Survey items of career choice value were 7 items including leadership desire, professionalism, direct improvement, social contribution, intellectual value calculation, vacation guarantee, salary Level. As a result of the study, it was found that career aspiration and job choice value were highly correlated with each other and that egogram structure showed a high correlation with adult ego status. Also, the higher the career aspiration and the higher the adult ego status, the higher the value of job choice. Based on the above results, the analysis of the ego-status profile based on the transactional analysis theory can be used as a very useful basic data for exploring the students' career decision, career choice and job choice, I think it will help me to understand and find an alternative career path.

An Analysis on Occupational Content in the Technology & Home Economics Textbooks of High School (고등학교 기술·가정 교과서의 직업 내용 분석)

  • This study analyzed content of and recognition on occupations shown from Technology Home Economics textbooks of the high school elective subject having a higher connection with the career development capability for the occupational world as shown from a curriculum analysis. Hence, this study selected 3 kinds of high school Technology Home Economics textbooks with a higher share from 6 in the 2007 revised curriculum and analyzed a frequency by characteristic of occupational content and recognition on description of a occupation. Content analyzed by researchers was examined by 2 school teachers to ensure the validity and objectivity of research findings. Research findings show that there is a great deal of frequency difference in occupations suggested by publisher and unit in the Technology Home Economics subject. Also suggestion frequency of the occupational classification by level from Korean standard industrial classification did not correspond to an actual situation of employment. Occupation names suggested from textbooks occupied 3.3% of those by Korean Occupation Dictionary, showing a higher suggestion ratio at occupations preferred by adolescents. In the textbooks, occupations were suggested from reading materials, photos and illustrations more than from texts. Recognition on descriptions of occupations showed for the most part the neutral(82.8%) and the positive16.2%)', and there was no biased intention even from some negative cases(1.0%). Based on research findings, this research has significance in that it suggested things to be considered for teaching career development capability in the high school Technology Home Economics subject and need for cultivating teachers' specialty to understand occupations and instruct career development. It also suggested improvements to be required for a new curriculum textbook.

The Effect of Career Counseling Program Using Vocational Cards On the Career Maturity of Elementary School Children (직업카드를 활용한 진로상담프로그램이 초등학생의 진로성숙도에 미치는 효과)

  • The purposes of this study were to develop vocational cards for elementary school children as a useful means to be applicable to elementary career counseling, to carry out a career counseling program by using vocational cards, and ultimately to determine the effect of the program on the career maturity of elementary schoolers. After job selection criteria were prepared in light of the characteristics of different occupations, changing business world and school children, how many number of vocational cards would be suitable for elementary schoolers was decided, and leading occupations were selected according to Holland classification in consideration of promising job list for the future, analysis of schoolbook and dream job among school children. And then what should be described on vocational card was determined, and their size was selected. Students who participated in the career counseling program based on vocational cards were significantly different in career maturity from others who didn't. To improve the reliability of quantitative approach, the students were asked to describe how they felt, and they made a positive assessment of the program as they found it to be interesting and of use for their understanding of themselves and business world. In conclusion, the vocational card for elementary middle-year students developed in this study catered to the career development stage of elementary schoolers, and the career counseling program using the vocational cards had a positive effect on enhancing the career maturity of children.

초등 수학 영재의 다중지능 분석

  • 최근의 영재의 개념은 다중지능, 다양한 재능을 포함하는 복합적인 확장된 개념으로 이해하고 있으며, 이러한 다양한 능력을 키워줄 수 있도록 함으로써 21세기에 걸맞은 인재를 양성하는데 초점을 두고 있다. 이런 측면에서 Gardner의 다중지능 이론은 영재교육에 시사하는 바가 크다. 본 연구에서는 영재의 다중지능 특성을 분석하여 강점과 약점을 파악함으로써 다양한 직업을 선호하는 그들의 능력을 균형적으로 계발해 주고 저마다의 소질과 적성을 키워줄 수 있는 데 관심을 가지려고 한 것이다. 전반적으로 초등수학영재는 개인이해 지능, 논리-수학적 지능, 대인관계 지능이 강하고, 신체-운동적 지능이 약하게 나타났다. 또 직업 선호도에서는 의료인 선택이 가장 많은 바, 수학영재에 대해 논리-수학적 지능 영역에 관한 교육과 아울러 다른 다중지능 특성과 적성에 맞는 교육도 복합적으로 할 수 있는 방안이 마련되어야 할 것이다.

  • 근골격계질환을 예방하기 위해서, 또 해당질환의 직업관련성을 결정하기 위해서는 작업의 위험성에 대한 적절한 평가가 선행되어야 하며, 이 평가결과에 따라 적절한 조치가 취해져야 하므로, 작업의 위험성에 대한 인간공학적 평가기법의 활용은 해당작업의 특성을 파악한다는 점에서 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 분석기법들의 특성을 이해하고, 그 특성들을 비교·검토함으로써 제조업을 중심으로 하는 생산현장에서 활용 가능한 기법들이 어떠한 것인지 제시하고자 하였다. 또한, 현재 우리나라에는 그다지 소개되어 있지 않지만 일본에서 활용되고 있는 현장에서의 평가기법을 소개하여, 앞으로 우리나라의 기법을 개발하는 데 있어 직면하게 될 문제들을 거론하고자 하였다.

An Analysis Study on the Contents of Occupation in Technology & Home Economics Textbooks for Middle School : focusing on preparation for Low Birthrate & Aging Society (저출산·고령사회 대비 관점에서 중학교 기술·가정 교과서에 제시된 직업 내용 분석)

  • This study analyzed the aspect of occupational contents shown in total 24 types of Technology & Home Economics (1). (2) textbooks for middle school in accordance with the 2009 revised curriculum. Analyzing the type of occupation shown in textbooks based on the Korean Standard Classification of Occupations(hierarchical classification), the frequency(ratio), and the aspect of occupational contents in each unit of textbooks and each data type, this study provided basic data to be able to understand diverse aspects of occupational contents. In the results of study, in case of Technology & Home Economics textbooks for middle school, the large area of 'home life' presented occupational contents in the relatively high ratio than the 'world of technology' while the frequency(ratio) of occupational contents was very much different in each publisher, large area, and unit. The occupation name presented in textbooks provided very limited information in the level of 5.27% of occupations presented in the Korea Dictionary of Occupations. Especially, providing occupational information concentrated in professionals & relevant practiceans in the type of the Korean Standard Classification of Occupations(hierarchical classification), it was limited to provide opportunities to learn the diversity related to occupation. Based on such results of study, on top of introducing diverse occupational contents to make students cherish all the occupations, it would be also necessary to seek for institutional measures related to textbook development/career education, so that they could explore career by considering their aptitude and interest.

A Study on the Difference between Groups in Perception of the Level and Importance of the Key Competencies of Technical High School Students (공업계 고등학교 학생들의 직업기초능력 수준과 중요도에 대한 집단 간 인식차이)

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the level and importance of the key competencies of technical high school students in order to improve their key competencies. The subject was 12 teachers in charge of school-to-work education in a technical high school and 7 managers responsible for an apprentice in a company. The results of this study showed there was a difference in perception of the key competencies between teachers in charge of school-to-work education and managers responsible for that part in a company. Especially, both of two groups, teacher group and manager group, estimated apprentice's comprehension ability of the English documents low and also regarded its importance as low. So the comprehension ability of the English documents needs to be reconsidered as the key competencies. It appeared that the reading comprehension ability of Chinese characters and the ability of listening courteously needed to be added to the existing key competencies. To cultivate them, the key competencies should be examined accurately which technical high school students have to master. And on the basis of this, an instrument to measure the key competencies needs to be developed.

산업의학 - 직업성 피부질환 II

  • 직업성 피부질환은 1988년 미국 전체 직업성 질환중 20%에 해당된다(미 노동부 자료 참고). 그 비율은 주에 따라 크게 달라지기도 한다. 피부질환은 어떤 주에서는 보상되는 직업성 질환의 대다수를 차지하기도 한다; 예를 들어, 캘리포니아와 플로리다주에서는 농작물에 의한 접촉성 피부염이 흔하다. 접촉성 피부염은 직업성 피부질환으로 보고되는 가장 흔한 피부질환이다. 이러한 사례의 4/5는 유기용제, 절삭유, 세척유, 알칼리, 산 등과 같은 자극성 화학물질에 대한 노출과 관련이 있다. 자외선은 어떤 화학물질(예를 들면, 코울 타르, 크레오소오트)과 반응하여, 이 화학물질 및 빛에 노출되는 부위에 자극성 접촉성 피부질환을 유발하기도 한다. 1/5의 사례는 에폭시 수지, 크롬, 식물 수지, 그 밖의 많은 것 등 특수 접촉 감광제와 관련될 수 있다. 강한 자극제에 노출되어 발상하는 화학적 화상은 비교적 흔하게 일어난다. 백반과 유사한 피부탈색은 드물게 일어나며 피부 접촉을 통하여 야기하는 특수 화학물질과 관련될 수 있다. 여드름과 모낭염은 기름 및 유지들과의 피부 접촉을 통하여 생겨날 수 있다. 10대 여드름과 구별되는 염소성 여드름이라고 불리는 질환은 여러 종류의 염화 탄화수소들(예를들면 다브롬화 디페닐, 다염화 디페닐, 디옥신)에 노출되어 발생되기도 한다. 신체적인 손상으로 반복되는 외상부위에 가골이 형성되기도 한다. 여러 종류의 일에 특징적인 것(예를 들면 바이올린 연주자의 목에 가골)이 소위 "직업적인 표지" 이다. 전기톱 작동 기술자, 분쇄기 작동기술자, 지하 광산 암석 천공 기술자에게서 발생하는, 손 - 팔 부위의 진동은 오랜기간 혹은 심하게 노출된 노동자에 있어서 - 손에 혈관수축질환 - 진동장애 백색 수지질환을 일으킬 수 있다. 피부암은 직업과 관련이 있다고 할 수 있다. 하지만 몇몇 사례가 산재 관련 기관에 보고외어 있지만, 암등록소에 보고는 불완전하며, 피부암으로 인한 사망은 드물기 때문에 피부암의 발생률은 알 수 없다. 예방적인 방법은 개인보호구(장갑, 구두 등), 기계공학적 통제, 노동자 교육, 피부에 노출되는 것을 피하기 위해 주어진 일을 맡는 노동자들의 교대와 같은 관리적인 통제가 있다. 이러한 방법들은 화학적 화상, 알러지성 접촉성 피부염과 같은 피부염, 진동장애, 직업관련성 질환(예를 들면, 건선, 단순태선, 백반)을 예방하는데 도움이 된다. 만성 자극성 접촉성 피부염은 아직 잘 이해하고 있지 못하여 현재 예방하는 방법은 아직 만족스럽지 못하다.
