  • Un globalization unfolds, concerns and research toward the differnces international cultures has increased. However, there is a dearth of research regarding how to nature culture align orgainzational performance with leadership style. Accordingly, this study aims to identify the relationship between leadership style and the orgainzational performance with mediating effect of national culture. Understanding the cultures of other countries is not as fast as the speed of internationalization. As globalization advances, interest and research on the characteristics of national culture differences have been increasing. One of the important challenges for business leaders is the ability to understand and deal with cross-cultural management. But there is a lack of research on cross-cultural management. In order to achieve this objective, this study, adopts Hofstede cultural dimensions, and finds the mediating effect on these transformational and transactional leadership on organizational performance.Feminism, collectivism, power distance, and uncertainty avoidance were classified into four factors of national culture has differnct mediating effect on leadership style and performance. This research has concentrated on leadership-styles and organizational performance with mediating effect of national culture.

  • The competition of construction market is keener, so construction companies are seeking the methods for improving the performance. Construction field organizations and managers should have an innovative behavior to improve the performance. However, construction field organizations and managers are negative to innovation because they are generally conservative. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the factors to influence the innovative behavior of building construction field managers. In this study, self-leadership, feedback seeking behavior and job involvement are selected the factors to influence the innovative behavior by literature reviewing. The results of correlation analysis showed that the behavior-focused strategies in self-leadership and the job involvement influence the innovative behavior of building construction field managers. In addition, the individual characteristics such as marriage, experience, position and type of employ influence the innovative behavior of their. This study is expected to help to improve the performance management system in construction field organizations.

A Study on the Perception of Job Experts on Data-based HR Management (데이터 기반 인사관리에 관한 직무전문가 인식 고찰)

  • There is a growing perception that HR management that streamlines corporate resources is necessary to retain competitive advantage. In this study, data-based HR management is focused on the perception of HR job experts and data-based HR management execution and utilization prospects at corporate sites. The subjects of the study were three HR planning/management job experts of three firms specializing in IT services in Pangyo, and focused on identifying data-based HR management execution, measurement, analysis tools, and utilization level. As a research method, open coding, axis coding, selective coding procedure based on evidence theory was presented. As a result of in-depth interviews, corporate HR management measurement indicators were divided into three areas: employee, productivity, and culture. Through this study, it was possible to find the significance of perception of the company site as to what measurement tools and mechanisms the company implemented and measured the effectiveness and efficiency of HR management.

Future Directions for Education of Social Welfare Administration: Training Students as Managers in Social Service Agencies (한국 사회복지 행정교육의 발전방향 : 사회복지 기관관리자 양성을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify increasing needs for training students as managers in social service agencies and to suggest ways to develop the education of social welfare administration. Agency evaluations and performance management has increased demands for effectiveness and accountability of social service agencies, which also has increased the roles of managers in social service agencies. Using 'Korean Social Worker Survey' conducted by Korean Association of Social Workers, this study examines job characteristics of 2,479 social workers. The results show that administration/management activities take about 40% of social workers' daily activities. Community organization, human resource management, and planning/financial management are regarded as more important and difficult than other tasks. However, sufficient education for preparing students as social service managers is not provided in undergraduate and graduate level of college education. In addition, social workers make their life long careers as managers. Thus, the education of social welfare administration needs to refocus on the provision of knowledge and skills required for competent social service managers. This study suggests future directions for developing education of social welfare administration in undergraduate and graduate level of college education including field practice.

  • This study This study analyzed the effectiveness of Corporate Entrepreneurship, using Human Capital Corporate Panel (HCCP) data from 2017. The attitude of workers, which is main link in the process of corporate entrepreneurship, has been studied at a singular level at individual and organizational levels due to the lack of data and analysis methods. Multi-level analysis using hierarchical and linear modeling was performed to improve the accuracy of the relationship estimation between variables. In addition, this study examined the moderating effect of the organizational level in the process of entrepreneurship. As a result, corporate entrepreneurship has had a positive effect on job satisfaction and turnover, which is due to the employees attitude and organization. Organizational trust in the process has been shown to perform an important role in the relationship between the corporate entrepreneurship and job satisfaction, and that the relationship between the corporate entrepreneurship and turnover has not been controlled. Based on these results, the implications, limitations, and future research tasks of the study are discussed.

  • This study was performed to deduce the constituents of competence for the practical duty in technical high school's heat treatment and tensile test practice. In order to accomplish this purpose 1) the constituents of competence for the practical duty were deduced through the job analysis and the skill hierarchy analysis of heat treatment and tensile test, 2) the deduced constituents of competence for the practical skill performance were correspond to the Mager's five performance type, that is, discrimination (knowing when to do it, knowing when it's done), problem solving (how to decide what to do it), recall (knowing what to do, knowing why to do it), manipulation (how to do it) and speech (how to say it). The results of this study will be helped to the selection of learning objective, learning content, instruction and evaluation method.

A Study on the Management of the Advanced Degree Programs Commissioned by the ROK Armed Forces (육군 전문학위 위탁교육의 성과관리에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this study is to evaluate the degree programs commissioned by the ROK Armed Forces, and to search for improvements. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, a research model was designed according to the CIPP evaluation model of Daniel Stufflebeam. The researcher conducted an analysis of documents, interviews, surveys, and data associated with the commissioned degree programs. On the basis of empirical analysis, this study debated various ways of improving the programs. This study found that the object of commissioned education in the Army did not actively reflect national defense strategy nor the army strategy in cultivating talented people. Nevertheless, this study found that the educational program helped improve individual competency because the budget for the programs was sufficient and was effectively implemented. However, there are not enough personnel to administer these commissioned programs. The contents of education strongly reflected the objective of the original commission's programs. However, the research papers produced by the students did not live up to the needs of the military to some extent. Lastly, most graduate students were satisfied with this program and found the program to be very helpful to carry out their missions and cultivate their expertise.

  • Ambulances are an important element of pre-hospital emergency medical services, and also an important space for improving the work efficiency of paramedics. Paramedics use the interior environment to maximize the capabilities of the space, but ambulances need to be improved to help with the responsibilities of paramedics. A Seamless space was constructed in accordance with the placement of first-aid emergency medical equipment and drugs, and a patient room was loaded in the interior space of an ambulance. This study was to improve the treatment space of an ambulance to improve the efficiency of work by paramedics The new design provides safety and efficiency for emergency medical services through planning of interior storage suitable for the duties of paramedics and through identification and analysis of the problems in the environment.

Business Incubator Manager's Competency Characteristics Affect Organizational Commitment and Work Performance : Focused on the Manager's Self-Efficacy (창업보육센터 매니저의 역량 특성이 조직몰입과 업무성과에 미치는 영향 : 매니저의 자기효능감을 중심으로)

  • Representative domestic start-up support organizations include the Business Incubator(BI), Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development(KISED), Techno Park(TP), and Center of Creative Economy Innovation(CCEI), and there are about 260 Business incubator nationwide. The Business incubator is operated by universities, research institutes, and private foundations or associations. The organization consists of the center director and the incubating professionals (hereinafter referred to as "manager"), etc., and performs tasks such as center operation management and incubation support services for tenant companies. Until now, research on the operation of Business Incubator has been mainly focused on the performance of tenant companies. Studies on whether the manager's competency characteristics directly or indirectly affect the performance of the tenant companies through psychological mediators such as self-efficacy and organizational commitment were very scarce. The purpose of this study is to explore various factors influencing organizational commitment and job performance by the competence characteristics of Business incubator managers, and to explain the causal relationship among those factors. In particular, the difference in perception was investigated by a manager's survey that influences organizational commitment and work performance at the Business incubator. Through this, we intend to present practical implications for the role of managers in the operation of Business incubators. This study is an exploratory study, and the subject of the study was a survey of about 600 managers working at Business incubator nationwide, of which 116 responses were analyzed. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, and reliability. Structural equation model analysis was performed for hypothesis tests. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the cognitive characteristics of the Business incubator manager, communication, and situational response as the behavioral characteristics had a positive effect on the manager's self-efficacy, and the behavioral characteristics had a greater effect on the self-efficacy. It was also found that the manager's cognitive and behavioral characteristics, and self-efficacy had a positive effect on organizational commitment and work performance. In particular, a manager's self-efficacy has a positive effect on organizational commitment and work performance. This result showed that the manager's competency characteristics increase the manager's self-efficacy as a mediating factor rather than directly affecting organizational commitment and work performance. This study explains that the manager's competency characteristics are transferred to organizational commitment and work performance. The results of the study are expected to reflect the job standard of the National Competency Standards (NCS) and basic vocational competency to the job competency of managers, and it also provides a guideline for the effective business incubator operation in terms of human resource management. In practice, it is expected that the results of the study can reflect the vocational basic skills of the Business Incubator manager's job competency in the National Competency Standards(NCS) section, and suggest directions for the operation of the Business Incubator and the manager's education and training.

A Study on Influence Factors of the Task Performance with Utilizing SNS by School Librarians (학교도서관 사서의 SNS활용과 업무성과의 영향요인 연구)

  • This study aims at examining the ways which a school librarian uses SNS when performing tasks and the use of SNS with the features of the task and the organizational system run by one person affect task performance. In this study, for objective explanation of the interrelation among a librarian's tasks and the use of SNS and performance, the model of a Librarian's Task-SNS Technology Fit was suggested through the combination of the Technology Acceptance Model and the Task-Technology Fit. Based on the result of the survey analysis, their utilization of SNS is not just limited to personal taste nor interferes with their work. Rather, it enhances task performance owing to the characteristics of the tasks or the organization such as the organizational system run by one person.
