Utilization Rate and Related Factors of Unified Health Sub-center Among Rural Residents (통합보건지소 설치 전후 주민들의 보건지소 이용율 변화 및 관련요인)

  • Health sub-centers(HSCs) have played an important role in primary health care in rural area in Korea. The unification of neighboring HSCs was a strategy to improve the role of HSCs. This study was conducted to reveal the efficacy of the unified HSC established in Yangbuk-myeon, Gyeongju-si in1997. The utilization patterns of HSC and its related factors, and satisfaction of consumer on HSC were compared before and after unification of two HSCs in Gampo-eup, Yangnam-myeon using questionnaire survey, and also the statistics of medical care services and public health services were compared. Four hundred forty nine subjects were questioned in survey, 156 from Gampo-eup, 147 from Yangbuk-myeon, and 146 from Yangnam-myeon. Following unification, the utilization rates and the frequency of visits in Gampo-eup declined. In all three areas, chronic illness was the common factor influencing the utilization and change in frequency of visits to the unified HSC. Following unification, aspects of consumer satisfaction, for example; accessibility and affordability decreased in Gampo-eup, but increased in both Yangbuk-myeon and Yangnam-myeon. The statistics relating to medical care, X-ray examination, home visiting service, vaccination, and health education showed an increase for the unified HSC when compared to the sum of the statistics for the previous two. The execution rates for other public health services were the same, or a little decreased. Clinical laboratory examinations and the issuing of civil affair documents were new services offered by the unified HSC. It is concluded, the overall consumer satisfaction with the unified HSC was improved. In Gampo-eup, where after unification there was no HSC, it seemed to be a barrier to accessing the unified HSC. The effect of the unified HSC, in the respect of medical care and public health services, was not as significant as expected at the time of being established. Therefore, the strategies to reenforce the unified HSC should be developed to provide all residents with comprehensive primary health care services.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide to alternatives to improve the relationship of local community resident of the rural-urban consolidation districts in analyzing the case of Jeollanamdo Suncheon city that has consolidated for around 10 years since 1th January 1995. The method of this study is to survey 335 number of Suncheon residents. The evaluation criteria about relationship of local community resident. used in this study were the unity of residents, the reconciliation of residents, and the satisfying degree of public administrative services. According to this survey. aspect of reconciliation of residents, access of administrative organ, unity of residents. satisfying degree of residents and administrative information are showed a little the positive effect. But locational preference of disgust facilities are appeared ordinary and negative sight.

The Characteristics of North Korean Regional System and South-North Regional Integration (북한 지역체계의 특징과 남북한 지역통합)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 북한 지역체계의 특징을 이해하고, 남북한 국토공간을 하나의 기능적 단위로 통합할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 북한의 지역체계는 도시간 분화, 상호의존, 그리고 대도시 지배를 주요내용으로 하였으며, 자료의 제한으로 인하여 탐색적 차원에서 연구를 진행하였다. 북한의 지역체계는 개성-평양-신의주를 연결하는 서부축, 원산-청진 -나진·선봉을 연결하는 동해안축, 그리고 희천-강계-만포를 연결하는 내륙축으로 구성되어 있는 것으로 보인다. 북한의 도시는 서부지역 도시를 제외하고는 분화의 정도가 상대적으로 낮고, 도시간 상호의존도 또한 낮은 것으로 보인다. 다만 북한의 경우도 평양이 종주도시화 되었으며, 수위도시인 평양이 북한 전역의 도시를 직접 통제·조정하는 것으로 보인다. 이는 북한이 고도의 중앙집권적 사회주의 경제체제라는 점 그리고 '자족적' 도시발달을 추구하였다는 점과 부합된다. 이 연구에서는 균형성(통합성), 대외연계성, 그리고 효율성을 원칙으로 남북한 지역의 기능적 통합 방안을 단계적으로 제시하였다 중단기적으로 북한의 동해안축을 연결시키며, 장기적으로는 남한의 동해안축을 개발하여 국토공간의 균형적 발달을 도모하는 것이 바람직하다고 본다.

  • 본 논문은 지리교육의 통합을 위한 논리적 토대와 준거틀을 구축하고, 이를 토대로 통합의 구성원리 제시를 목적으로 하고 있다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 새로운 지리교육이 삶과 삶의 터전을 위한 것이라면, 지리교육은 삶의 통합적인 모습을 해석하고, 이해하는 쪽으로 가야 한다. 2) 지리교육과정의 통합은 지역을 중심으로, 그 속의 지리적 현상을 주제로 간학문적.초학문적 통합의 장점이 조화된 통합 방식이 가장 적절하다. 3) 지역 중심의 주제를 통한 통합지리교육의 주목적은 학습자들이 자신들의 삶의 터전 속에 내재된 지리적 의미를 찾아 해석하고 이해하는 것이며, 부차적으로 이 과정에서 관련된 지리적 지식을 능동적으로 구성하는 것이다. 4) 통합지리교육은 지역화 지리교과서 편찬으로부터 출발해야 한다.

The Moderating Effect of Community Cohesion on the Relationship between Neighborhood Disorder and Community Integration among Persons with Mental Illnesses (동네무질서와 정신장애인의 지역사회통합과의 관계 - 지역사회응집력의 조절효과 분석 -)

  • This study examines the extent to which community cohesion moderates the effects of neighborhood disorder on community integration among persons with mental illnesses(MI) who are living in the community. Stress process model, social disorganization theory, and neighborhood disorder model were considered with regard to the moderating effect of community cohesion. 692 persons with MI who utilized Community Mental Health Enhancement Centers were surveyed and analyzed, employing moderated regression model. Major findings showed that neighborhood disorder increased social integration. Community cohesion moderated the relationships of neighborhood disorder to three dimensions of community integration: physical, social and psychological integration. Implications for community intervention beyond the individual and service-level interventions were addressed in order to accomplish community integration for persons with MI.

A Study on Factors Affecting Social Integration of Visually Impaired People in Korea (시각장애인의 지역사회통합 실태와 관련 요인)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the degree of community integration of visually impaired people who have the limitation of mobility in comparison with another disabled and to find factors affecting community integration. The data were obtained through telephone interview with visually impaired people. The final sample was consisted of 1,004 respondents. The data were analyzed using statistical techniques such as crosstabulation, t-test, and hierarchical regression. In this study, the factors affecting community integration was divided into four dimensions : the attribution to disability, physical functioning, psychology and social support system. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, the factors affecting community integration of visually impaired people were age, education, economic status, social support, information support and participation of rehabilitation service. Second, the factors affecting community integration of the low vision and the blind are the limitation of daily activities and social support. But the factors affecting community integration of the blind are participation of education for braille and that of the low vision are information support and participation of rehabilitation service. Finally, the person losing eyesight since school age were the more limitation of daily activities than the person losing eyesight in babyhood. The factors affect community integration of the former are social support, information support, participation of education for braille, and rehabilitation service. The current findings suggest that intervention and policy aimed at improving social support system and formal services such as education, rehabilitation services should be considered by rehabilitation professionals and policy makers.

  • 멀티데이터베이스를 구축하기 위해서는 전역스키마 (global schema) 구축이 필수적이며, 지역스키마(local schema) 간 충돌 해결과 스키마 통합 정보는 질의 처리 및 질의 결과를 사용자에게 보여주기 위해 필요하다. 전역스키마 생성 및 충돌 해결 방법은 많이 연구가 되어 왔다. 하지만, 스키마 통합을 위한 정보가 어떻게 표현되고, 어떻게 사용되는지에 대한 연구는 부족하다. 본 논문에서는 지역스키마와 전역스키마를 XML DTD 및 XML 문서로 표현하고, 이를 이용하여 멀티데이터베이스를 위한 스키마 통합 방법을 제안한다. 스키마 통합정보와 멀티데이터베이스와 지역데이터베이스들간 데이터교환을 XML을 이용함으로써 이기종간 데이터 교환이 쉽고, 멀티데이터베이스 시스템의 확장 및 다른 시스템으로의 전환이 용이하게 된다.

Community Change Perceived by participants in the Integrated Program for Early Children Development with Low-income Families Using Photo-voice Method: Centered on the Case of 'Seesaw and Swing' (영유아통합지원 실천의 지역사회변화 인식에 관한 포토보이스 연구: '시소와그네' 사례를 중심으로)

  • The article attempts to explore community change perceived by participants result from The Integrated Program for Infant and Young Children, a program operated by the Community Chest. The participants expressed and shared their experiences through photos and discussions using the Photo-voice method under the theme of 'community life, its meaning and change'. The main themes were 1. In the past, 'community life,' non-meaningful space; 2. Now, we have shared identity, 'You are not alone'; 3. Our village which is a new place in my life. The article also may suggest issues on both community intervention for early children development program and organization for fosterers as social capital. Additionally, photo-voice method enabled participants to find the way to restructure their community from non-place to place. There were three stages, the first was to reflect on their community, the second was to re-inhabit in the community, and the last was to restore the community.

전주·완주와 청주·청원의 행정구역 통합 결정과정의 비교 분석: 민·관 정책중개자를 중심으로

  • 본 논문은 청주·청원과 전주·완주의 행정구역 통합과정을 비교·분석하였다. 2009년 두 지역의 통합은 모두 무산되었다. 그러나 2010년부터 이루어진 재시도에서 청주·청원은 통합에 성공한 반면 전주·완주의 통합은 또다시 무산되었다. 행정구역 통합을 설명하는 기존의 연구들은 구조 및 환경 등 외생적 요인에 초점을 두고 있어 역사적 배경, 지리적 조건, 통합의 시기 등에서 여러 유사점이 있는 두 지역의 비교연구에는 적합하지 않다. 본 논문은 특히 전주·완주와 청주·청원의 행정구역 통합 결과의 차이가 나타난 이유로 정책중개자의 역할에 초점을 맞추었다. 구체적인 통합 결과의 차이를 살펴보기 위해 통합절차를 5단계로 나누어 그 충족 정도를 분석하였다. 정책중개자는 그 정책선호와 지위를 기준으로 (1) 민-관 선호 정책중개자, (2) 관단독 선호 정책중개자, (3) 민단독 선호 정책중개자, (4) 선호 없음의 네 가지 역할로 구분하였다. 본 논문의 분석 결과에 따르면, 제1기(2009년~2010년)에는 두 지역 모두 민단독 선호 정책중개자가 나타났다. 그 결과 전주·완주에서는 여론조사에서, 청주·청원에서는 의회의결단계에서 그 통합시도가 무산되었다. 제2기(2010년~2013년)에는 전주·완주에서는 정책중개자 유형이 관단독 선호 정책중개자 유형으로 바뀌어 주민투표단계까지 도달하는 데 그쳤으나, 청주·청원에서는 민-관 선호 정책중개자로 바뀌어 최종 통합시 설치법 단계까지 도달해 통합이 완성되었다.
