The purpose of this study is to analyze local cultural festivals hosted contact-free in the corona era and to suggest the direction for sustainable festivals in the post-corona era. To this end, by analyzing the cases of well-known festivals held contact-free in 2020 and 2021, we tried to get implications for the festivals in the post-corona era from there. As a result of this study, contact-free festivals had the following characteristics. First, the on-tact method, which produces and transmits a video or allows interaction through real-time participation, was prominent. Second, in order to compensate for the shortcomings of the contact-free method, various efforts have been made to enable on-tact experience by making and delivering experience kits in the case of experiential elements of the festival in advance. Third, communication was secured through real-time comments, and fourth, products were sold through the Internet and live commerce channels, and a certain effect was obtained. In particular, in the case of online festivals, there is a problem of loss of the sense of place of the festival, but there are cases of online festivals with more participation than offline festivals. It is judged that the problem of how to achieve this will become a reference material for the future development of contact-free festival contents.

This study is to figure out the Filipino cultural identity by analyzing the image of the Philippine comfort woman statue, which was created as a representation of memories of the Filipino comfort women during the World War II. As a new approach to the field of area study, this study introduced the concept of 'intertextuality', which is a method of understanding texts in the field of literature. Since the comfort woman statue represents the grieved memories of the comfort women during the international war time, the analysis of the image was focused on 'femininity' and 'nationalism'. As for comparison, the Korean comfort woman statue, the Statue of Peace, was taken into the analysis. Upon analyzing, it can be seen that Filipino perception of femininity emphasizes 'beauty' rather than 'purity' that expressed in the Statue of Peace. And the Philippine nationalism expressed through the comfort woman statue can find 'elitist and inclusive' characteristics, unlike the 'popular and resisting' characteristics of Korean.

In this study, we evaluated the chemical and physical properties of structural steel, which is the most basic material for steel structures and reinforcement concrete structures in modern period. We theorized the technical data for the research of technical history of modern heritage structures by analyzing the product system and its quality control of structural steel used in modern historical heritages. The results of this study are as follow; first, the rounded bars were used in most of modern heritage structures. But in the case of Waegwan railroad bridge, the deformed bars were used in spit of not using in Japan after the great earthquake of Kantou. Second, the structural steel was good in terms of quality control, but It has brittle properties because it was not manufactured by heat treatment process.

감성공학은 "인간이 제품이나 주변환경에 대하여 감각기관으로 부터 받아들인 각 종 정보자 극과 개인의 판단을 통하여 갖게되는 복합감정으로서의 감성을 측정, 분석하여 제품이나 환경을 인간의 생활에 편리하고 안락하며 만족스럽게 개발하는 전체과정" 이라고 정의 되었다. 이러한 감 성공학의 의미를 표현할 수 있는 영문명칭으로는 "Sensibility Ergonomics"가 제안되었으며, 감 성공학의 정의에 따르는 연구의 내용에는 인간의 감각(sensing)과 인지(perception), 감각정보처 리(information processing), 정신적 작업부하(mental workload)와 스트레스, 인간복합감정변화 등이 포함되도록 하였다. 특히 감성변화를 객관적으로 측정 평가하기 위하여 실험심리학 (experimental psychology)과 심리생리학(psychophysiology)등의 실험연구가 강조되었다. 동일한 감각 또는 정보자극에 대한 개인별 감성변화의 차이를 체계화하기 위해서는 제반 인체의 특성과 함께 인종, 지역, 환경, 전통등을 포함하는 생활문화 연구가 필수적으로 수행되어야 할 것이며, 이렇게 사용자의 문화적 배경을 고려하여 감성공학적으로 개발된 제품을 "High Culture" 제품이라 명명하였다.High Culture" 제품이라 명명하였다.명하였다.

After 18th century in Korea, a tendency of the traditional folk houses shows not only the typical types but also the cultural areas in terms of each regional part. The existing folk houses are selected in order to compare the characteristic of the plans with those of the central region in Korea. Moreover this region has been a collided zone of culture and military from the old period of the Three Kingdoms, because the district of Che-chun is located between the southern part and the central one. So its culture and housing plan showed as unique forms, so-called the Culture of Frontier and Composite. Consequently the purposes of this study are to grasp the characteristic of those plans and to compare the plan types with ones of the central region. For the attainment of the above goal, this investigated study is prosecuted by means of the existing 6-folk houses in Che-chun city.

(주)화인은 전남 광양 포스코 제철소 내에서 크레인, 굴삭기, 휠로더, 무인로더 및 각종 설비를 이용하여 Slag를 처리하고 있는 전문 외주사로, 대한산업안전협회 전남지회가 안전우수사업장으로 적극 추천할 정도로 안전에 대해서는 큰 모범을 보이고 있는 회사다. 이곳은 업종 특성상 폭발, 화재 위험이 매우 크다. 하지만 113명의 임직원 모두가 안전을 최우선으로 하면서 설립(2010년 7월 1일) 이후부터 무사고를 기록, 지난해 10월 안전보건공단으로부터 무재해 2배수를 인정받았다. 이러한 안전에 대한 성과는 작업 능률로 그대로 이어지면서 이곳은 지난 2011년 포스코의 우수 외주 파트너사로 선정되기도 했다. 안전뿐만 아니라 보건 측면에서도 매우 큰 성과를 냈다. 전사적으로 금연 프로그램을 적극적으로 시행하여, 지난해 전남 광양시로부터 '담배 연기 없는 기업'을 수상한 것이다. 위험천만한 제철소 환경 속에서 확고한 안전보건 문화를 구축, 지역사업장의 모범이 되고 있는 (주)화인의 안전관리 활동을 살펴봤다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest strategies to improve and revitalize public small libraries established and operated by local governments among small libraries in Yangpyeong-gun. For this purpose, basic factors to be considered for the analysis of the current situation were derived by examining the policies and prior studies of small libraries. Based on these factors, the operation status of the public small libraries were analyzed, and interviews were conducted with the itinerant libertarians and staffs. As a result of the analysis, the main problems were the deterioration of a building, the lack of manpower and expertise, and the collection and program that did not reflect regional characteristics. In this study, we suggested a revitalization strategy such as improvement of the operating system, development of community-focused life-friendly libraries, reinforcement of manpower and expertise, development of book collections and reading culture programs with regional specialization, and establishment of community networks.

Islands are vulnerable to outer influences due to their small size and isolation. Tourism often becomes an important development focus because of their unique culture and nature. Jeju-do, as well as other islands, has experienced such development mostly led by central government, and the regional change was understood as the outcome of global influences without much concern with the local response or strategy. Thus, vulnerability has been the key theme in island development studies. This paper examines the current state of island development as an outcome of locals' alternating strategy in which the islanders accept the central government's plan, but express their demands to modify them. It is reflected in the electoral preference for ruling or oppositional parties, local movements against central government's development plans, and the spatial organization of tourism sites from a few growth centers to more dispersed, balanced development. These suggest that the current state of island development is not derived from unidirectional global forces, even if islands are peripheral. Rather, it is the outcome of an alternating strategy of Jeju locals accepting the central government development plans while managing them for local benefits.

The Roh Moo-hyun Government of Korea with highest fierily establishes policy framework and measures to accomplish the goal of regionally balanced development. With the vision "constructing a county in which every region provides high quality of life with its own specificity" and basic strategy "self-sustained localization", the policy framework is geared to economic aspects of development rather than cultual or social aspects. Subsequently, policy measures are also focused on such economic tools as regional innovation system, strategic industry, or industrial cluster. This paper suggests that future policy of balance development should set clear definition of balanced development, be based on a though evaluation of the Bast policy measures, and draw several fresh ideas which match characteristics of each region. These policy directions should be given higher power of practice with efficient organizational support.
