  • 본 논문은 개인이 소장하고 있는 문서, 이미지, 오디오, 동영상 등의 미디어를 통합 관리하는데 사용할 수 있는 개인용 미디어 온톨로지에 대해서 기술한다. 본 논문에서 기술하는 개인용 미디어 온톨로지는 미디어 정보 기술을 위한 부분과 미디어를 소장하고 있는 개인 정보 기술을 위한 부분, 그리고 온톨로지 기반 추론을 위한 추론 규칙으로 구성된다. 온톨로지는 W3C에서 표준으로 정의한 온톨로지 표현 표준 언어인 OWL (Web Ontology Language)로 기술되어 있어서, OWL을 지원하는 다양한 도구들을 이용할 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 온톨로지 추론 규칙을 함께 기술하고 있어서 온톨로지 기반 추론을 통해서 온톨로지에 명시적으로 기술되지 않은 정보들을 획득하는 것이 가능하도록 한다.

  • This paper introduces a test-bed toolkit for evaluating and enhancing text analysis engines which extract technological knowledge from articles, patents, reports and so forth. The toolkit consists of two test-beds for technical entity recognition and relation extraction engines, which are capable of identifying technical entities and predicting semantic relation types between the entities. With using the introduced toolkits, users and developers can efficiently perform the execution monitoring and error analysis of the technical text analysis engines.

Educational Using A Technology In The Education Of Future Mathematics Teachers (예비 수학 교사 교육에서 공학적 도구의 교육적 활용)

  • In this research, we designed an educational activities of exploring mathematics programs in a course of mathematics education in teacher's college. We divided future mathematics teachers into 8 groups and suggested 8 mathematics programs to them. Each group explored one mathematics program. We asked to future mathematics teachers exploring some cases that use effectively a mathematics program in the teaching of school mathematics. In the process of an exploring, we designed some activities of teaching and learning. We provided opportunities of long-term exploration, group learning, presentations, exercises, reflections to mathematics teachers. As a result, future mathematics teachers acquired basic knowledge on the usage of mathematics programs in school mathematics textbook. In addition, their capabilities that are needed to explore mathematics programs have been enhanced. Also they had learned the teacher's positive attitude through the activities of teaching and learning.

  • In the knowledge-based society, ICT should take an integral part in K-12 curriculum. The purpose of this paper was to investigate the means to integrate ICT into K-12 curriculum. For the purpose, we reviewed the current national curriculum in light of ICT use. From the review, we identified that the recently revised 7th national curriculum reflected the necessity of using ICT in the view point of knowledge-based society, but it did not include the ICT specifically as a critical element of the curriculum. We discussed the meaning of ICT integrated curriculum, and also the role of ICT as a component of the curriculum. Finally, we suggested the direction of restructuring the curriculum as we consider integrating ICT into it.

Knowledge-based Expert System for the Preliminary Ship Structural Design (선체 구조설계를 위한 지식 베이스 전문가 시스템)

  • The objective of this study is to develop knowledge-based system for the preliminary design and midship section design of bulk carrier and to enhance the applicability of knowledge engineering in the field of Naval Architecture. First, expert system shell called E.1 is developed in C language. E.1 supports backward-chaining, automatic iteration procedure and reiterative inference mechanism for efficient application of knowledge-based system in structural design. Knowledge representation in E.1 includes IF-THEN rules, 'facts'and 'tables'. Second, knowledge bases for the principal particulars and midship section design are developed by experimental formula, design standard and experiential knowlege. Third, hybrid system combined this knowledge-based system with the optimization program of midship section is developed. Finally, the simplified design method utilizing the regression analysis of the optimum results of stiffened plate is developed for facilitating the design process. Using this knowledge-based system, the design process and results for Bulk carrier and stiffened plates are discussed. It is concluded that knowledge-based system is efficient for preliminary design and midship section design of the ship. It is expected that the performance of the CAD system would be enhanced if the better knowledge-base is accumulated in the E.1 tool.

  • 시맨틱 웹과 에이전트 시스템을 위한 지식 기반(Knowledge Base)을 구축하기 위해 W3C의 RDF와 ISO의 토픽맵(Topic Maps)이 사용되고 있다. 이 두 표준은 표현력 상에서 중복되는 부분이 많음에도 불구하고 서로 다른 방면을 추구하였지만, 최근 W3C에서는 Task Force 팀을 구성하여 둘 사이의 상호운용성을 확보하려는 시도를 보이고 있다. 이에 따라 단순히 자원에 대한 메타 데이터를 구축하는 RDF에 semantic을 부여하는 RDF Vocabulary인 OWL과 토픽맵 간의 상호운용도 관심을 받기 시작하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 OWL과 토픽맵의 상호운용 가능성을 확인하기 위해 두 표준을 지원하는 각 저작 도구를 활용하여 표현력과 기능적 비교를 수행하고 이를 통하여 둘 사이에 어떠한 차이점이 있는가와 기능적인 극복을 위한 대안을 제시한다.

  • Rapidly spreading malware, such as ransomware, trojans and Internet worms, have become one of the new major threats of the Internet recently. In order to resist against their malicious behaviors, it is essential to comprehend how malware propagate and how main factors affect spreads of them. In this paper, we aim to develop a spread prediction tool based on the modeling of malware epidemics. So we surveyed the related studies, and described the system design and implementation. In addition, we experimented on the spread of malware with major factors of malware using the developed spread prediction tool. If you make good use of the proposed prediction tool, it is possible to predict the malware spread at major factors and explore under various responses from a macro perspective with only basic knowledge of the recently wormable malware.

  • 본 연구에서는 새만금 유역을 대상으로 오염물질 배출상황을 보다 세부적인 수계의 분포에 따라 정량적으로 분석하고, 분석결과를 효과적으로 처리할 수 있는, 지리정보시스템을 이용한 오염총량 관리시스템을 개발하였다. 본 시스템은 (1) GIS 기반의 배출부하 데이터베이스를 구축하며, 배출부하량 및 세부적인 수계별 분포를 확인할 수 있는 검색 모듈과 (2) 자정계수와 유달거리로 구성된 유달함수를 통하여 유달부하 데이터베이스를 생성하는 모듈, 그리고 (3) 저류형, 침투형, 식생형, 장치/하수처리형 등의 비점오염 저감시설을 유역 말단에 설치하였을 경우, 소유역 및 새만금 유역전체를 대상으로 부하량 저감효과 및 삭감률이 계산 가능한 모듈로 구성되었다. 따라서 전문적인 지식이 없는 사용자도 결과의 판독이 가능하며, 대상유역의 부하량 분석 및 저감시설에 따른 부하량 예측을 통하여 수질정책 수립에 매우 유용한 도구로 사용되도록 하였다. 차후의 연구에서는 본 시스템과 수문/수질모델링시스템을 연계하여 종합적인 수질정보 및 수질관리를 위한 통합관리시스템의 지원이 가능하도록 할 예정이다.

Research on Knowledge Map using Electronic Cultural Atlas (전자문화지도를 활용한 지식지도에 관한 연구)

  • According to continuous development of information technology, it is needed to make convergence of other disciplines such as humanities and area studies. Among convergence fields related to information technology and humanities/area studies, electronic cultural atlas represents various digitalized cultural information on electronic map using spatial data such as points, lines, and polygons through time, spatial, and subject axises. Knowledge map is to represent special academic information based on electronic cultural atlas. In details, knowledge map can provide integrated information sharing and spread because academic information associated with electronic cultural atlas and data related to per subjects, regions, and period become organically connected. Therefore, knowledge map may be utilized to promote scholastic research and diffuse research result. In this paper, we describe basic concept and composition of knowledge map and propose design method to construct knowledge map.

Development and Validation of a Korean Generative AI Literacy Scale (한국형 생성 인공지능 리터러시 척도 개발 및 타당화)

  • Literacy initially referred to the ability to read and understand written documents and processed information. With the advancement of digital technology, the scope of literacy expanded to include the access and use of digital information, evolving into the concept of digital literacy. The application and purpose of digital literacy vary across different fields, leading to the use of various terminologies. This study focuses on generative artificial intelligence (AI), which is gaining increasing importance in the AI era, to assess users' literacy levels. The research aimed to extend the concept of literacy proposed in previous studies and develop a tool suitable for Korean users. Through exploratory factor analysis, we identified that generative AI literacy consists of four factors: AI utilization ability, critical evaluation, ethical use, and creative application. Subsequently, confirmatory factor analysis validated the statistical appropriateness of the model structure composed of these four factors. Additionally, correlation analyses between the newly developed literacy tool and existing AI literacy scales and AI service evaluation tools revealed significant relationships, confirming the validity of the tool. Finally, the implications, limitations, and directions for future research are discussed.
