Knowledge Development and Classification Systems in Nursing (간호이론의 발전과 간호 분류체계)

  • 간호학에서 간호업무를 이끌어갈 간호이론이(지식체) 필요하다는 생각은 20세기가 되면서부터 시작되었다. 하지만 아직도 간호학은 간호학 특유의 지식체가 부족하다는 지적을 받고 있다. 주된 이유는 간호 업무가 재대로 확인되지 않았고 간호업무를 이끌어갈 간호학 특유의 간호이론이 확실히 정립되지 않았기 때문이다. 따라서 간호가 독자적 학문으로서 인정받고 발전하기 위해서는 간호업무에 적용이 쉽고, 간호 업무에 바탕을 둔 간호이론의 개발이 필수적이다. 왜냐하면 간호 이론이 간호업무에 쉽게 적용됨으로서 간호학의 지식체가 발전할 뿐 아니라 환자 간호도 더욱 증진 될 수 있기 때문이다. 이 논문에서는 간호지식의 발전 단계를 시대적 순서와 배경을 덧붙여 고찰하였고 간호학에서 간호 분류체계가 발전하게 된 동기, 그리고 간호 분류체계가 환자 간호와 간호학의 이론개발과 발전에 어떻게 활용되는 가에 대해 서술하였다. 그리고 간호분류체계가 가지는 특성으로는 먼저 간호실무를 체계적으로 명명하고 분류함으로서 간호학에서 필요한 연구영역을 확인하게 하게 하고 간호학 고유의 지식체의 발전에 공헌하는 것 뿐 아니라 간호정보화 시스템의 개발, 다른 의료전문가들과의 효과적인 커뮤니케이션 수단 제공, 간호의 지속성을 유지, 그리고 간호의 효과성 연구에의 활용 등이 있다.

  • MOCT(Ministry of Construction & Transportation) suggested 'A Plan for Implementation of Knowledge-based Economy for the Construction Industry' to add high value to the construction industry by means of knowledge-based management techniques. However, there are no guidelines which help the bodies of the construction industry(government, research center / university, enterprise, etc) with doing a knowledge management. So it is difficult to implement the knowledge management systems for the construction industry. To establish the knowledge portal for the construction industry, the objective of this study is to present works, which help the bodies of the construction Industry(government, research center/university, enterprise, etc) with doing knowledge activities efficiently. To accomplish this objective, we analyzed the overall knowledge management activities. And we suggested an implementing direction of the knowledge management systems for the construction industry and a strategy for implementing the knowledge management systems in the construction industry. As results of this study, we established a strategy of knowledge management and works of the bodies of the construction industry(government, research center / university, enterprise, etc) We expect that the results of this study will be used as a manual of the bodies of the construction industry for implementing knowledge management systems and the knowledge portal that brings the construction industry to high value added industry.

  • This paper suggests a new model connecting various knowledge activities through classification systems such as classifications of research, technology, industry, major and job. Although research activities are linked to technology and industry areas or to education and job areas, there is no effort to link these kinds of activities. There are a few studies to link research and technology or research and education respectively. But, there have been no studies to connect technology-industry linkage and education-job linkage. This paper suggests that research area can be a basis of link between technology-industry linkage and education-job linkage. The methods building the links are not simple, but easy; 1) setting up new science/research classification system having two dimensions of research and application, 2) building electronic systems and databases allowing fields for several classification systems, and 3) making rules using multi-dimensional classification systems following the purpose of the programs. The model is designed to meet the needs of nationwide R&D and human resources policies, and for the preparation of knowledge society to grasp the relationship between sequential activities using knowledge. If we know the interactive relationships between various areas, we can trace related phenomena in different activities with restricted information.

  • A knowledge classification is based on different types of knowledge system. which depends on classified objects, purposes, times, regions, and scholars. The classified contents. however, do not show any significant difference in any times or regions, though there are differences in representation methods and in arrangement priority of representing knowledge, Knowledge or library classification reflects the structure of a contemporary society and is decided by social philosophy of the time. The basic structure of knowledge system in the past was formed in the ancient time, and since then, it has been continuously developed. In the course of this process, the development of studies has generated other branches of studies, playing a significant role in changing the whole system of studies. This kind of development will continue to occur and many new branches of information will appear. resulting in taking each category of knowledge classification.

  • Nowadays, domestic construction companies make an effort to share knowledge and experience accumulated while conducting a project. One way of improving knowledge sharing is to develop specifications which are linked to the expert's knowledge and experience based on the specification classification. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to review the current domestic specification system and develop the specification linked to the construction lessons learned database. It is expected that the proposed specification system will support the decision making process by effectively providing the knowledge and solution.

  • The industry is becoming more competitive and it is essential for any organization to continuously improve in order to stay competitive. As an effort to increase their technical and managenial capabilities, many organizations have been trying to adobt 'new knowledge' coming out of research and implementing it to their business processes. It is a common belif that tins theme of 'Knowledge Management' is helpful in keeping organizations healthy and competitive. This study was performed in the context of 'Knowledge Management'. This paper will describe the development process of the CII Knowledge Structure which was developed by CII to help its member organizations become incresingly 'knowlege-oriented'. The CII Knowldege Structure systematically organizes 'knowledge' that has been produced from various CII Research. Structure and contents of the CII Knowledge Structure and the implications of development of the Knowledge Structure will also be discussed in this paper.

Exploring Welfare Discourse in Korea Based on M. Foucault's Power And Knowledge Relations (M. Foucault의 권력지식관계론에 기초한 한국의 복지담론 해석)

  • What is the role of welfare discourse? Michel Foucault suggests the power and knowledge relation that power in a particular society and period controls the society and members by creating knowledge affecting the formation of cognitive and normative systems. Having the formation of exclusions(constraint of cognition), and materiality and reality(normative system) as an analytical framework, this article attempts the exploration of welfare discourse analyses with public statements relating to welfare subjects of the four former Korean presidents. As a result, It is found that dominant epistemic system is formed by balancing welfare and growth and regarding jobs as the best welfare(the linkage of welfare-growth-employment), emphasizing individual economic responsibility and self-reliance, pursuing welfare selectivism, and excluding comprehensive welfare provisions. At the same time, it is observed that power is not always formulating systematic knowledge and that there is a gap between cognition and norm. While the Foucauldian discourse analysis provides a causal inference about low social welfare expenditure, excessive focus on the role of power as knowledge generator and infuser causes a question of how to accommodate contemporary changes into knowledge system.

An Empirical Study on Impact of Knowledge Management Success Factors and Activities on Disaster Management Task Performance (재난관리에 있어서 지식경영의 성공요인과 활동이 업무성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study empirically explores the relationship among knowledge management success factors (leadership, organizational culture, information technology, measurement, incentive, knowledge quality), knowledge management activities(knowledge creation and knowledge use), and task performance in disaster management area. Findings suggest that (1) organization culture, information technology, incentive and quality of knowledge are significantly related to knowledge creation activities while leadership, information technology, incentive and quality of knowledge are significantly related to knowledge use activities, (2) higher level of knowledge creation is related to high level of knowledge use, and (3) the level of knowledge use activities seems to be significantly related to task performance in disaster management, while knowledge creation activities are not.

온톨로지 기반의 지식맵 서비스 시스템의 설계 및 구현

  • 지식관리시스템의 지식 분류 체계가 지식맵이며 이 지식맵을 이용하여 지식 서비스가 제공된다. 그러나 현재의 지식맵은 비표준적인 지식 네트웍 구조와 정적인 분류체계라는 문제를 가진다. 문제 해결 방법은 지식맵에 온틀로지를 적용해서 표준성, 의미 기반의 지식 네트웍 구조. 동적인 지식분류, 자동화된 지식서비스를 제공하는 새로운 개념의 지식맵을 구현하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 토픽맵 모델을 기반으로 온톨로지를 생성, 저장, 검색하는 효율적인 온톨로지 관리 시스템인 K-Box를 구현하였다. K-Box는 온톨로지 관리를 위한 기본적인 기능들을 제공하며, 이질적인 저장소들을 일관된 인터페이스로 접근할 수 있도록 함으로써 저장 장치 독립성을 제공하였다. 또한, 저장 관리되는 모든 온톨로지들의 무결성을 보장하기 위한 새로운 기법과 사용자 관심을 중심으로 한 온톨로지 검색 지원을 위한 방법을 제안하였다. 마지막으로, 우리는 여러 온톨로지들을 적용해 봄으로써 K-Box 시스템이 효율적으로 사용 가능함을 확인하였다.
