지식정보화사회가 도래함에 따라 지식과 정보의 중요성이 더욱 대두되고 있으며 IT 기술의 급속한 발전은 지식의 기술 기반화, 정보 환경화를 가져왔다. 인터넷 사용이 급속도로 증가하면서 필요한 정보들은 지식 검색서비스를 이용해 찾는 것이 일상화 되었다. 이에 검색기술환경의 변화에 따른 지식검색서비스의 등장과 일상화 추세를 통해 지식의 개념과 특징, 지식검색서비스의 체계를 살펴보는 것은 지식 정보화 사회를 살아가는 이들에게 의미 있는 연구가 될 것이다.

지식경영과 전자정보환경에서 회색문헌의 중요성이 새롭게 부각되고 있다. 그 중요성에 비해 도서관이나 정보센터에서의 회색문헌의 수집 및 관리가 소홀했다. 본 연구에서는 먼저 전통적 회색문헌의 개념과 더불어 인터넷과 정보기술의 발달에 따른 회색문헌의 변화를 살피고자 한다. 또한 지식경영과 회색문헌과의 관계, 회색문헌 관리시 고려사항과 생산주체별 회색문헌 DB 구축사례를 제시함으로써 회색문헌과 관련된 도서관 및 정보센터의 역할을 살피고자 한다.

관계추출기의 학습을 위해서는 많은 학습 데이터가 필요한데, 사람이 모으게 되면 많은 비용이 필요하여 원격 지도 학습을 이용한 데이터 수집이 많은 연구에서 사용되고 있다. 원격 지도 학습은 지식베이스를 기반으로 학습 데이터를 자동으로 만들어 내는 방식이기에 비용이 거의 들지 않지만, 지식베이스의 질과 양에 영향을 받는다. 본 연구는 원격 지도 학습을 기본으로 관계추출기의 성능을 향상 시키고, 지식베이스를 확장하는 방안으로 반복학습을 제안한다. 실험을 적은 비용으로 빠르게 진행하기 위해 반복학습을 자동화 하는 시스템을 설계하여 실험을 하였고, 이 시스템으로 관계추출기의 성능이 향상 될 수 있는 가능성을 보였으며, 반복학습을 통한 지식베이스의 확장 방안을 제시한다.

The change of corporate business environment according to the worldwide competitiveness and the development of information technology threaten the survival of corporate libraries. Corporate libraries have to redesign their services and prove the significance of existence within their company. This paper examines the competitive corporate environment of corporate libraries, and the effective management strategy of corporate libraries. Also management strategies of two corporate libraries are analyzed.

최근 자연어처리 연구로 지식 기반 대화에서 대화 내용에 자유로운 주제와 다양한 지식을 포함하는 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 지식 기반 대화는 대화 내용이 주어질 때 특정 지식 정보를 포함하여 이어질 응답을 생성한다. 이때 대화에 필요한 지식이 검색 가능하여 선택에 제약이 없는 오픈 도메인(Open-domain) 지식 기반 대화가 가능하도록 한다. 오픈 도메인 지식 기반 대화의 성능 향상을 위해서는 대화에 이어지는 자연스러운 답변을 연속적으로 생성하는 응답 생성 모델의 성능 뿐만 아니라, 내용에 어울리는 응답이 생성될 수 있도록 적합한 지식을 선택하는 지식 검색 모델의 성능 향상도 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 오픈 도메인 지식 기반 한국어 대화에서 지식 검색 성능을 높이기 위해 밀집 벡터 기반 검색 방식과 주제어(Keyword) 기반의 검색 방식을 함께 사용하는 것을 제안하였다. 먼저 밀집 벡터 기반의 검색 모델을 학습하고 학습된 모델로부터 고난도 부정(Hard negative) 지식 후보를 생성하고 주제어 기반 검색 방식으로 고난도 부정 지식 후보를 생성하여 각각 밀집 벡터 기반의 검색 모델을 학습하였다. 성능을 측정하기 위해 전체 지식 중에서 하나의 지식을 검색했을 때 정답 지식인 경우를 계산하였고 고난도 부정 지식 후보로 학습한 주제어 기반 검색 모델의 성능이 6.175%로 가장 높은 것을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study is to develope a model for an integrated national management system of information services in the science, technology and industry sectors by assigning major roles and purposes to KISTI which was set up by the merge of KINITI and KORDIC. In order to develope the model, this study investigates and analyzes the problems of KINITI and KORDIC. On the base of these analytical results, this study presents a desirable model of KISTI for a national information services in the science, technology and industry sectors.

The purpose of this paper is to suggest a pilot model of knowledge organizing system which reflects the knowledge structure of research papers, using a case analysis on the "Korean Research Memory" of the National Research Foundation of Korea. In this paper, knowledge structure of the research papers in humanities and social science is described and the function of the "Korean Research Memory" for scholarly sense-making is analysed. In order to suggest the pilot model of the knowledge organizing system, the study also analysed the relation between indexed keyword and knowledge structure of research papers in the Korean Research Memory. As a result, this paper suggests 24 axioms and 11 inference rules for an ontology based on semantic relation of the knowledge structure.

한국데이터베이스진흥센터는‘지식정보자원관리사업’을 통해 구축된 지식정보 DB의 품질을 점검해 보기 위해, 매월 1종의 DB를 선정해 품질을 평가하고, 그 결과를 2005년도‘DB 서비스 평가’기획 시리즈로 연재한다. 특히 이번 기획 평가는 사용자 관점에서 DB품질을 조명해 보는 만큼, 지식정보 DB의 활용도 극대화를 위한 실천적 대안 마련에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

우리나라 「지식의 댐」을 자처하고 있는 한국과학기술정보센터는 새로운 정보활동에 계속 여념이 없다. 공식 또는 비공식적으로 수집처리되는 이 새로운 지식은 국제적인 흐름을 직감할 수 있으며 우리의 장래설계에도 훌륭한 길잡이가 되고 있다. 이 새로운 지식을 활용, 내일의 밝고 건전한 산업육성에 기여할수 있도록 콜스틱(KORSTIC)이 수집한 해외의 중요 목록을 게재한다.
