A Study on the Myrmecochorous Plant Species and Their Diaspore Characteristics in Korea(I) (개미가 종자를 산포하는 식물종과 전파체 특성에 관한 연구(I))

  • To search for native myrmecochorous plant species in Korea and their diaspore characteristics, collecting their fruits and diaspores, and the related ant species were studied from April 2012 to October 2013. Eight herb species growing in Korea are added to the myrmecochorous (seed attached elaiosome) plant list. Elaiosomes of eight herb species vary considerably in shape and size. Major ant species transporting the diaspore of myrmecochorous plants are Formica japonica, Lasius alienus, L. japonicus, Myrmica lobicornis, Temnothorax spinosior, Tetramorium tsushimae, but Camponotus japonicus and Nylanderia sakurae do not transport the diaspores. This study found out that mutualism between myrmecochorous summer-flowering plants and ants is carried out in Korea. Further research on the native myrmecochorous plants should be needed.

  • To determine the metabolism of leucine during the cuticle formation and the sclerotization process in Pieris rapae L., $U-^3$H-leucine or $U-^4$C-tyrosine is injected into the haemolymph of newly molted pupa through dorsal cuticle of heart area. The results show that leucine as a common amino acid participates in the synthesis of cuticle protein over the first 3 hr after ecdysis. It is also shown that leucine in the haemolymph at ecdysis is freely being moved between major internal organs during the short time period post-ecdysis, providing the evidence for some involvements including haemolymph protein synthesis and storage of fat body and gut in metabolism of leucine.

  • Dietary supplementation of folic acid to silkworm larvae in different concentration (100, 200 and 300 ${\mu}$g/ml) to the 4th and the 5th instar resulted in a significant increase in economic parameters, such as female and male cocoon weights, shell weights, egg productivity and egg hatching percentage. However, larval duration was significantly decreased, as compared with that of carrier control. The increase in the glycogen and protein contents of the fat body was not significant, whereas the increase in trehalose content of haemolymph in all the treated groups and protein content of fat body and haemolymph in 100 ${\mu}$g/ml treated groups were significant. However, the haemolymph protein was significantly decreased in 300${\mu}$g/ml treated group.

  • 행정안전부는 지난해 12월 19일 지방계약 예규 개정사항을 공포하고 올해 1월 5일부터 시행에 들어갔다. 특히 분리발주 공사의 범위 명확화 및 활성화 등 지난해 11월 24일 공포된 지방계약법 시행령의 개정사항이 지방계약 예규에 반영됐다. 이번 예규 개정을 통해 공종을 분리 시공하는 것이 효율적이라고 인정되는 공사를 구체적으로 규정하고 분할 분리발주 대상을 사전에 검토토록 함으로써 중소업체의 입찰참여 기회가 더욱 확대될 전망이다. 분리발주 법제화는 대한설비건설협회에서 정부, 국회를 비롯해 제18대 대선후보캠프에 지속적으로 건의한 결과 박근혜 정부가 40대 중점 국정과제로 확정해 추진한 결과로서 지난해 국가계약법 시행령을 비롯해 지방계약법 시행령에 명문화됐다. 한편 이번 정부는 지방계약 예규 개정을 통해 공동수급체 구성원 중 일부업체가 입찰무효인 경우 전체가 입찰 무효처리 되던 불합리한 규정을 바로잡았으며, 중소기업의 경영난 해소를 위해 소규모 계약에 대해서도 선금을 지급토록 했고, 여성 및 장애인 기업에 대한 혜택도 늘렸다. 뿐만 아니라 어려운 경제 사정을 고려하여 중소기업의 입찰 참여 확대를 위해 제한경쟁 입찰에서 재무상태 제한 규정을 폐지했으며, 계약비리 근절 및 협상계약 남용 방지 위해 수의계약 사유공개 및 사전검토 등 기준을 강화했다.

  • This paper focuses on the phenomenon that basic municipalities in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, have established archives in the last two to three years, and examines the background and causes. The movement of establishing a continuous archive of regional historical associations that encompassed several regions beyond a specific municipality exerted great influence. The linkage and cooperation activities of The Japan Society of Archives Institutions also acted as a major factor. These examples of municipal archives in Nagano Prefecture will give prospects and implications that can facilitate the establishment of a local archive in Korea.

  • Fatty acid composition analysis was carried out from 60 species of Korean native medicinal plant to screen ${\gamma}-linolenic$ acid(GLA) resources. Oenothera odorata, SymPhytum officinal, and Lithospermum erythrorhizon contained ${\gamma}-linolenic$ acid with 9.5%, 3.5%, 7.2% of total fatty acid content, respectively. The vegetative organs usually contained higher level of ${\alpha}-linolenic$ acid than seeds. Some plants were found to be excellent source of unsaturated fatty acid.

  • The hydrolysis characteristics of various fatty acids composing the fish oil was investigated for function of acyl chain specificities using Lipase-OF 360,000 from Candida cylindracea. The hydrolysis of fatty acids decreased with the increase of the number of carbon and double bond in the fatty acids, in case that the number of double bond and the position of the first double bond from the methyl group of fatty acids were the same. The position of the first double bond was found to be an acyl chain specificity of Lipase-OF 360,000 for the hydrolysis of fish oil. Lipase-OF 360,000 also showed the another acyl chain specificity that the increase of double bond of fatty acids, having the same number of carbon and the position of double bond, brought about the decrease of hydrolysis.

  • Lipidomic analyses of transient breast milk are far more limited than those of other dairy products. As a preliminary analysis of breast milk lipidomes, analytical methods for polar and nonpolar lipids from transient breast milk were developed, and detailed fatty acid profiles were determined in this study. The newly developed methods include solvent fractionation of phospholipids and acyl glycerol, one-pot derivatization to FAMEs and pyridylcarbinol esters, and instrumental analysis, including GC-FID and GC-MS. The results indicate that breast milk contains 16 major common fatty acids with 8-22 carbons. Additionally, 29 minor fatty acids were identified, including odd-numbered fatty acids and branched analogues with 11-23 carbons. Their detailed concentrations in different fractions were measured using the internal standard method. In addition to ordinary fatty acids, breast milk contains several branched fatty acids, including iso/anteiso acids with 15-18 carbons. Structural studies have been performed on selected minor fatty acids via chemical synthesis.
