A Study on the Intention to use Personal Mobility Services: Focused on the SOR(Stimulus-Organism-Response) Model (퍼스널 모빌리티 사용의도에 관한 연구: SOR(Stimulus-Organism-Response) 모델을 중심으로)

  • This study proposed a research model that can explain the usage intentions of users and non-users by considering the performance aspects of personal mobility and external environmental factors based on the SOR (Stimulus-Organism-Response) model, A survey was conducted targeting domestic users and non-users, and research models and hypotheses were verified through Partial Least Square (PLS) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN). As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the users' perceived satisfaction and perceived trust had a positive effect on their intention to use, and that perceived risk and environmental value had a significant relationship with perceived satisfaction and perceived trust. For non-users, it was found that there was a positive correlation between perceived satisfaction and intention to use, and it was verified that perceived risk and environmental value, like users, were significant antecedents of perceived satisfaction and perceived trust. Among the remaining variables, the perceived mobility of users and the perceived ease of use of non-users were respectively presented as important influencing factors on perceived satisfaction.

  • The study examined the impact of medical servicescape, human services, and effects on perceived value and customer satisfaction. From July 1, 2016 to August 31, 2016, a total of 300 outpatients visiting the university hospital and general hospital in Ulsan area participated the study. As a result, the general features of the Servicescape were more important to the aged and the higher the academic background, the higher the scores of Human Service and perceived value were revealed. There was a positive correlation between the service schedule of the medical institution, human service, perceived value, and customer satisfaction. And the factors affecting customer satisfaction were in order of human service (${\beta}=0.382$), perceived value (${\beta}=0.376$). The service scapegoats and personal services offered by customers visiting healthcare providers play an important role in understanding the internal health and needs of customers, and this research results will serve as a basic material for strengthening the competitiveness of medical institutions.

A Study on Customer's Satisfaction of Convergence Products (컨버전스 제품의 소비자 만족도에 관한 연구)

  • This study set out to analyze the impacts of convergence products(cell phones, PDAs, IPTV, and portable game consoles) on the consumers' purchase intention and satisfaction. These results of the research model show that usefulness, perceived risk, and communication had significant influences on purchase intention, and usefulness, innovation, perceived risk, and communication on satisfaction. But there were differences according to the product kinds. The results indicate that usefulness, convenience, perceived risk, and communication are the major factors affecting the satisfaction and purchase intention of convergence products and that innovation didn't have much influence on them. And there were small differences among the influential factors according to the kinds of convergence products.

  • Conceptualization of store image have been suggested in the past by many marketing scholars. The dominant perspective about store image is treated as the results of a multi-attribute model. Store image is expressed as a function of the salient attributes of a particular store that are evaluated. Though, there is a little confusions about what elements compose the store image, most scholars agree that merchandise, service, atmosphere, physical facilities, comfort, and location are generally accepted elements as store image. A considerable researches support that shopping can provide both hedonic and utilitarian value. Hedonic shopping value reflects the value received from fantasy and emotive aspects of shopping experience, while utilitarian shopping value reflects the acquisition of products. These two types of shopping value can affect shopping satisfaction. This study examines the relationships among stores images(store atmosphere, salespeople services, facilities, product assortment, and store location), shopping values(utilitarian shopping value and hedonic shopping value), and shopping satisfaction based on discount stores (E-Mart, Home plus, and Lotte Mart). The author hypothesized that five store image components affect shopping values, and these shopping values affect shopping satisfaction. The author focused on the roles of perceived retail crowding between these relationships. Specifically, the author hypothesized that perceived retailing crowding moderated the relationship between shopping values and shopping satisfaction. The author also hypothesized the direct effect of perceived retail crowding on shopping satisfaction.     . To test model and hypotheses, data were collected from 114 consumers located mid-size city in local area. The author employs PLS methodology (SmartPLS 2.0) to test hypotheses. Data analysis results indicate that among five store images salespeople services, and store location affect utilitarian shopping value.     . The author analyzed the relationship between perceived retail crowding and shopping satisfaction using WarpPLS 3.0 which can analyze the non-linear relationship. Result indicates that perceived retail crowding affects directly shopping satisfaction and there is a non-linear relationship between them.     • The purpose of this study was to verify the mediating effect of adaptive/maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies in the relation between perceived spouse's covert narcissism and marital satisfaction. For this purpose, 300 adults who were married in Seoul and Gyeonggi province were subjected to covert narcissism, marital satisfaction, and cognitive emotion regulation strategy scale and analyzed using the SPSS 23.0 program. The results of the study was followed. First, perceived spouse's covert narcissism showed a significant negative correlation with marital satisfaction and adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategy, whereas it showed a significant positive correlation with maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategy. The marital satisfaction showed a significant positive correlation with adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategy, but a significant negative correlation with maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategy. Second, adaptive/maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies partially mediated the effects of perceived spouse's covert narcissism of on marital satisfaction. Based on these results, the implications and limitations of this study and suggestions for future research were discussed.

    • Perceptions of organizational politics(POPs) have stress-based effect as job demand and lead to employee's negative attitudes and behaviors. According to job demand resource model, burnout develops when high job demand deplete employee's resources, which lead employees to low levels of motivation and high levels of cynicism and frustration. Currently, in studying the relationship between POPs and burnout there is a lack of researches on certain settings and conditions. The present study examined a model in which relationship between POPs and burnout was mediated by psychological need satisfaction. And also, this study tested moderating role of psychological capital between POPs and need satisfaction. A total of 220 employees in telco and electronic manufacturing company in South Korea participated in this study. The result of this study showed that need satisfaction works as mediating variable between POPs and burnout and psychological capital had moderating effect between POPs and need satisfaction. This study proposes a new framework of POPs by examining linking mechanism of need satisfaction and psychological capital. The results of this study provide practical insight to HR practitioners and business leaders.

    • The purpose of this study is to identify the influecing factors on the user's satisfaction and continued usage intention in IPTV services. For this purpose, a research model and hypotheses are developed based on the relevant literature reviews. Data have been collected from 310 users who have used IPTV and the research hypotheses were tested by covariance structural model analysis. The results of this empirical study are summarized as follows. First, perceived enjoyment was confirmed to have a positive effect on user's satisfaction and continued usage intention, however, we found no evidence of a statistically significant relationship between perceived enjoyment and perceived usefulness. Second, perceived ease of use was found to positve influence perceived usefulness, however, we found no evidence of a statistically significant influece on user's satisfaction. Third, confirmation was found to positively influence satisfaction and continued usage intention. Fourth, perceived usefulness had a positive influence on continued usage intention, and both perceived usefulness and satisfaction had a positive influence on continued usage intention. Based on these findings, we suggested the implications and further research directions.

    • This study is about the influence of perceived justice with service recovery on customer satisfaction and the customer's behavioral results. Even though prior studies estimated overall customer satisfaction, this study measured customer satisfaction separately in two parts: satisfaction with the service recovery and relationship satisfaction. The results are as follows. Distributive justice and interactional justice have positive effects on satisfaction with service recovery. But distributive justice, procedural justice and interactional justice have positive effects on relationship satisfaction. Satisfaction with the service recovery and relationship satisfaction have a positive effect on customer loyalty.

    • Consumer satisfaction/dissatisfaction is key determinant of brand loyalty and store patronage behavior. But the results of many customer satisfaction surveys implemented by department stores show that consumer satisfactions do not predict the actual patronage behaviors well. The main reason of these surprising results would be that the consumer satisfaction indexes do not include some important determinants of consumer satisfaction. Many customer satisfaction surveys mainly focus on the evaluation of functional benefits including product assortments, merchandise prices and locational convenience. Recent studies indicate that emotional/hedonic benefits strongly influence the consumer satisfaction, intention to repurchase and intention to revisit. Our study suggests that both functional values and hedonic values should be included in developing the index of consumer satisfactions. The purpose of our study is to investigate the relationship between shopping value and consumer satisfaction, and actual patronage behavior. Shopping values is defined as the difference between total benefits and total shopping costs. Total benefits include the dimensions of product quality, service quality, and hedonic benefits. Total costs are classified as the monetary costs and non-monetary cost. The conceptual framework developed for this empirical study is as follows.

    The Relationship between Compensation and Job Satisfaction: Exploring the Role of Supervisor Support and Perceived Internal Equity (구성원의 보상과 직무만족의 관계: 상사의 지원과 지각된 내적 공정성의 역할 탐색)

    • The main purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of compensation on job satisfaction. The study is designed to determine whether perceived internal equity acts as a mediation role in affecting the relationship between compensation and job satisfaction. This study also aims to explore the role of supervisor support in affecting employees' perception of equity toward the compensation. A total of 157 samples was obtained for the data analysis as a quantitative approach. The results of the data analyses revealed that both extrinsic and intrinsic rewards are positively correlated with job satisfaction. The results also showed that perceived internal equity acts as a mediating role in predicting variables of compensation and job satisfaction. The supervisor support does not moderate the relationship between compensation and perceived internal equity. It is suggested that management's efforts must be made in compensation management in order to increase employees' job satisfaction and to improve employees' perception of equity.
