Careful preparation for a start-up can lower the risk of failure and create a successful business model. However, there are still challenges for middle-aged entrepreneurs, as start-up services and policies are often not readily accessible or fully utilized. Despite active research on middle-aged start-ups, previous studies have not delved deeply into the demographics of start-up preparation and various preparation behaviors. In response to this, a study was conducted to identify which start-up support services middle-aged entrepreneurs use, and how start-up preparation can be classified based on this. Data from 324 middle-aged tech start-up owners, based in Seoul and who started their businesses within the past 7 years, was collected and analyzed. The results showed that middle-aged entrepreneurs had moderate start-up preparation, with the greatest focus on the preparation period and the least focus on start-up education. Latent Profile Analysis revealed three groups of start-up preparation types among middle-aged entrepreneurs: "Overall Tribal Type," "Lack of Start-up Education Type," and "Comprehensive Preparation Type." BCH was performed on start-up satisfaction, start-up competence, fear of failure, access to start-up services, and support needs for middle-aged entrepreneurs based on the preparation type. The results showed that "Overall Tribal Type" had statistically lower start-up satisfaction, competence, and service accessibility compared to the other groups. Meanwhile, "Comprehensive Preparation Type" had a statistically lower fear of failure than the other types. "Overall Tribal Type" also had lower accessibility to middle-aged start-up services. All types had a high recognition of the need for support for specialized middle-aged start-ups. The findings highlight the need for more comprehensive support for middle-aged entrepreneurs. This could include expanding support projects to enhance their level of preparation, providing customized support based on their level of preparation, and improving the visibility and accessibility of start-up support services for middle-aged individuals. Additionally, specialized education that addresses the characteristics of middle-aged individuals should be provided.
This study analyzed whether depression and social support had a mediating effect between income status and life satisfaction of middle-aged and elderly people with disabilities using data from the 15th year of the Korea Welfare Panel data. As a result of the analysis, first, the income status of the middle-aged and disabled was depressed(B=.241, p<.001), social support(B=-.167, p<.001), and life satisfaction(B=-.277, p<.001) was confirmed to have a direct effect. Second, the mediating effect of depression and social support was verified on the influence between the income status of middle-aged and disabled people between life satisfaction. Third, it was confirmed that depression and social support had a multi-mediating effect between the income status and life satisfaction of middle-aged and disabled people. Therefore, an income support system that supports middle-aged and disabled people to live at an appropriate level should be prepared. In addition, in order to increase the life satisfaction of middle-aged and disabled people, it is necessary to intervene in mental health support services that can actively cope with depression and to expand the social support network.

Analysis data were collected through online and offline questionnaires for 320 middle-aged people for 10 days from August 15, 2021, and the SPSS WIN 23.0 program was used. As for the analysis method, frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, and correlation analysis Baron & Kenny (1986) were performed in three stages of regression analysis. The research results showed First, that physical health awareness and depression of middle-aged people had a statistically significant effect on life satisfaction. Second, in the relationship between physical health awareness and life satisfaction, self-esteem showed a partial mediating effect. Third, in the relationship between depression and life satisfaction, self-esteem showed a partial mediating effect. This study is to develop welfare programs based on the characteristics of middle-or-old-aged woman workers in manufacturing industry. 7cities and 2 counties in Kyunggi-Do were selected. for survey considering their accessibility. Total 471 woman workers were interviewed personally and the data has been analyzed using SPSS. First, the findings show that their family structure is characterized by nuclear family and they have school-aged children who need someone else's care, therefore they need child related services to help them such as after school care. Second, they have few welfare facilities in their work and they have never tried to find any outside their work. Thus, it is necessary to prepare welfare programs in their working place. The welfare programs they need most are discount stores, medical service, counseling service, and so on. In conclusion, the welfare needs of woman workers cannot be thought without considering family structure of woman workers, the degree of welfare facilities in the work, and their welfare needs.

Second, subjective health condition and social support were significant variables for successful aging but cognitive function and self-esteem were not significant. Third, social support, which is a social factor, was the most influential among other variables. Based on the results, theoretical and practical implications were presented.
The aim of study to compare the change trajectory of socioeconomic deprivation and depression the middle-aged in the single-person household and that in the Multi-person Household and to confirm the difference between the two groups. It is to examine the Longitudinal relationship between socioeconomic deprivation and depression. To do so, we studied 4,212 single-person household and Multi-person Household cases in the 7th to 11th Korea Welfare Panel Study (2012~2016). To verify the difference between both groups, we go on analysis with the latent growth curve model. According to our analysis, it is confirmed that the socioeconomic deprivation and depression of single-person households is higher than those of Multi-person Household and thus there is meaningful difference between both groups. Also, we reveal that the socioeconomic deprivation of Multi-person Household tends to decease while that of single-person household doesn't decline significantly. Furthermore, it appears that the socioeconomic deprivation is directly proportional to the depression in both groups. This research has meaningful significance in that we discussed in depth the relationship between the socioeconomic deprivation and depression of both groups, suggesting that welfare approach should be needed in the middle-aged in the single-person household.

This study was conducted to determine how the family relationships of the middle-aged affect their life satisfaction and how family support services regulate the association between the two factors. A total of 8,695 middle-aged residents(aged 50 to 64 years) were chosen from among resident-respondents of the needs survey administered to establish the 4th local social security plan in Gyeonggi-do. The moderating effect of family support services on the relation between family relationship difficulties and life satisfaction was investigated. The analysis showed that the life satisfaction experienced by the middle-aged is slightly higher than the middle level. The lower the difficulty in family relationships, the higher the use of family support services, the more women than men, and the better the economy, the higher the life satisfaction of middle-aged. As a moderating variable, family support services significantly moderate the effects of family relationship difficulties experienced by the middle-aged on life satisfaction. The results are meaningful in that they comprehensively shed light on the difficulties that confront family relationships and the relationship structure of family support services, thereby contributing to the search for life satisfaction among the middle-aged in Gyeonggi-do.
