기업이나 공공기관의 사무실 중심으로 구축되던 네트워크 환경이 가정 내의 디지털 가전기기로 확산되어가면서 홈네트워크 산업과 관련시장에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 기존의 홈네트워크 구성은 주파수중첩, 새로운 가전기기 추가 시 네트워크 환경변화 등 여러 가지 문제점을 내포하고 있으며, 에이전트를 활용하여 홈오토메이션 기능을 제공하는 홈 네트워크 시스템을 제공하는 경우가 드물다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 RFID를 기반으로 하는 홈네트워크 아키텍처를 제시하고, RFID 기반의 홈네트워크를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 지능형 에이전트를 제시한다. 제시한 지능형 에이전트는 홈네트워크 내의 정보가전기기에 대한 상태 정보를 분석하여 자율적으로 가정 내 상황을 학습하고 사용자에게 최적의 환경을 제공한다.

스마트 홈 환경에서 사용자 중심 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 가전기기를 제어하고 네트워크에 연결하기 위한 미들웨어기술과 상황에 맞는 서비스를 제공하기 위해 사용자 위치 정보가 중요하다. 기존의 위치 시스템들은 장애물 등에 영향을 많이 받아 정확한 위치 정보를 얻을 수 없다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 OSGi 미들웨어 상에서 관성 센서와 RFID Reader를 이용하여 위치추적 시스템의 난점인 초기 위치설정 문제와 오차 누적 문제를 개선한 사용자 위치 추정 시스템을 설계하였다. 또한 스마트 홈 환경 안에서 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템이 장애물의 영향을 받지 않고 동작하는 것을 확인하였다.

코로나 팬데믹이 장기화되고 경제가 침체되면서 사람들이 가장 많이 머무는 집 안에서 가전제품과 가구를 수리나 상호판대 등을 통해 재사용할 수 있는 방법에 관한 관심이 커지고 있다. 특히, 가전이나 가구를 수리하여 제품을 오래 사용한다면 개인의 경제에 도움이 될 뿐만 아니라, 장기적으로는 환경을 보호하는 효과도 거둘 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 유사한 기존 앱들의 단점을 보완하여 홈수리 앱을 개발하였다. 지역적, 시간적 제약을 극복하고 환경까지 보호할 수 있는 친환경 플랫폼인 '그린망치'를 개발하였다. 본 앱은 다양한 API와 OCR 기능을 활용하여 사용자 중심의 수리 서비스를 제공하고 친환경 자재의 사용을 유도하는 서비스를 제공한다.

In this paper, we define that pervasive home network, which provides necessary services for user properties and removes distractions to improve the quality of human life. So, user can enjoy home network technology including devices and softwares at any place with no knowledge of networked home, devices, and softwares. In this home network, a mobile agent, called LAFA, can migrate to unfamiliar home network and control the necessary devices. For this environment, we design security management module for authenticating user and home server that access some other home networks, and for protecting text, multimedia data, and mobile agent that are transferred between home networks. The security management module is composed of a key exchange management module and an access control management module, for key exchange management module, we propose a key exchange protocol, which provides multimode of authentication mode and key exchange mode. One of these two modes is selected according to the data type.

By development of the superhigh speed network and the Networked appliance, a home network environment was equipped quickly around the cyber apartment. The home network environment provides the abundant family life style which numerous appliance and tools are connected with the network. Recently it is caused by with appearance of the Networked appliance which is connected with the network, the service demand is augmented to hacking, wrong operation, breakdown, crime prevention in home automation, fire, and break-in. This paper planned and proposed the integrated crisis management service model in the environment of home network and Networked appliance. Namely, it classifies the Networked appliance crisis management service and it defines a crisis management message with the XML. The message where the crisis situation occurs is notified and controlled in wireless PDA or the hand phone or the specific authorization.

Consequently, Home gateway has to have security module and structure for the communication which is sate. The digitalization of our society has brought on the digitalization of housing design and human life. Thus, the concerns for developing digital home have increased. However, most of them has focused on digital technology, not human. This study was intended to examine the residents' housing needs for digital home and to suggest the design guidelines of digital home. The subjects were 400 housewives who lived and used internet in $85m^2$-sized housing unit in the new apartment complex, Busan. The important aspects in digital home design, the residents' needs for digital home design, and the needs for digital system in digital home were examined. The subjects were relatively young in their ages. Also, they had relatively high educational level and middle income. On the base of their housing needs for digital home, the design of digital home like as followings would be desirable: 1) the safe and secure design and digital system, 2) the design to improve residents' health and encourge family interaction, 3) human, warm, and soft interior mood, 4) space composition different from the existing one.

현재의 유비쿼터스 환경의 홈 네트워크 제품 사용자는 단일 사용자가 아닌 다수의 사용자가 사용하는 네트워크 행태를 취하고 있다. 변화하는 사용환경과 시스템들은 현재와는 다른 요구사항을 가지고 있으며, 이에 따른 사용자 중심의 디자인과 제품 인터페이스 체계의 연구활동은 국내외에서 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 다양한 모바일 디바이스 및 홈 네트워크 제품의 보급화가 빠르게 성장하면서 이를 쉽게 제어하기 위한 다양한 제어방식이 연구되고 있다. 이중 음성인식기술을 비롯한 표정은 안면표정인식기술의 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 모션감지 센서를 활용한 사용자 제스처 콘트롤 체계는 아직까지는 초보적인 단계에 있으나, 제품 제어에 있어서 향후 근미래에는 자연스러운 인터랙티브 인터페이스의 활용도가 높아질 전망이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 효과적인 디바이스 제어를 위한 제스처 유형의 자연스러운 사용언어체계 개발 방법 및 결과 그리고 사용자 맨탈모델와 메타포 실험을 통한 연구내용을 정리하였다. 기존 사용자의 제스처 유형의 자연스러운 사용언어를 분석하면서 디바이스 제어방식으로서 활용 가능성을 검토할 수 있었으며, 동작 감지 카메라 및 센서를 활용한 새로운 디바이스 제어방식 개발과정의 연구를 통하여 제스처 유형의 자연스러운 언어 체계 개발 및 과정을 정립하였다.

Recently, newly built apartments in Korea are provided various home automation (HA) systems based on information technology(IT) for residents' safer, healthier and more convenient living. However, the residents in these digital apartments are often not able to use the home automation systems effectively because of lack of their IT knowledge, attitude, or education. However, there are few researches have been done to find out the HA systems' real problems with regard to residents' aspects who use those systems everyday. The purpose of this study was to find out residents' current uses, satisfaction level and existing problems of HA systems by residents' POE. The findings of this study will give useful information to digital home construction companies to provide user-friendly digital home services for increasing users' satisfaction. One distinctive apartment equipped with home automation systems located in Seoul was selected for in-depth personal interview. The researcher developed a survey instrument and collected the data from 58 residents in January, 2007 who had been living there for more than a year. The results of the study found that critical problems were existed in several systems and they caused a lot of dissatisfaction from the residents. Also, some residents do not use several systems although they need to use them due to the burden of maintenance fee. Further detail findings and suggestions of this study were discussed.

Rapid increasing number of the internet web site enables the users receives information prepared with multimedia techniques as an exchanging gateway to the world. It is also realized that we are living in information society connected by the flooding number of the web sites. Consequently, setting up the identity in developing a homepage is critical since clear distinction from other sites is required for the homepage in which a random user can delivers the ideas from the message offered by the provider. In this paper, in order to establish the identity for a homepage, what kinds of components of the identity should be discussed and how the identity is reflected in the existing homepage are analyzed with the selected sample web sites. The design process in developing the identity for Ssamzie homepage (www ssarnzie eo.kr) is reviewed for comparing with others of the selected sites as a case study. These will explain that the roles of the designers in a homepage preparation will not be limited to the graphic expressions but will be expanded to the contribution to provide the reasonable distinction in terms of the establishing identity of the web sites. Moreover, the phase of the designer can be reevaluated by emphasizing the roles and the established identity.
