중등 수학 영재 판별 및 선발

  • 영재는 그 다양한 특성으로 인하여 객관적인 판별도구를 개발하는 것에 한계가 있으며 판별절차에 관한 학자들의 이론도 다양하다. 특히 고도의 창의적인 능력을 나타내는 수학 영재아의 경우에는 더더욱 그러한 면이 심하다고 할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 인천과학 영재교육센터에서 실행했던 중등 수학영재선발과정에 대하여 살펴보고 이에 대한 문제점을 검증함으로써 앞으로 더 발전된 수학 영재아의 판별을 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 수학적 사고의 입장에서 중등학생들이 수학적 문제해결에 논리적 사고와 직관적 사고가 어떻게 작용하는지를 연구하는 것은 수학교육에서 중요하고도 흥미로운 과제의 하나이다. 본 연구의 주된 목적은 중등학교 영재학생을 대상으로 이러한 문제를 조사하는 것이다. 특히 이들 중등영재학생들의 논리적 사고와 직관적 사고에 대한 선호도와 논리적 문제의 문제해결능력 사이의 관계를 조사한다.

  • This study is focused on the selection program of mathematical gifted children on the middle school. To fulfill this purpose, I consider the testing program using cyber system. If we use the cyber system, we can survey mathematical play(for example, puzzle) and several mathematical activity of gifted children. Cyber system will be help as a subsidiary selection tool.

  • In this paper, we investigated the mathematical output of a gifted student's independent study. We chose one student who was taking a mentorship course in mathematics at the Gifted Education Center in Chonnam National University, and analyzed the characters of the result which a student showed through the output of independent study and studied the psychological change of a student while he was making a presentation of the results of his study. We found following facts. First, a mentor-independent study improves a mathematical gifted student's inductive thinking and ability to generalize and apply to other cases. Second, presenting a mathematical gifted student's output for mentor-independent study improves his ability of mathematical communication in the abilities of creative problem solving. Finally, there is an increased change in his perception and self-efficacy of mathematics after the presentation.

  • As the necessity of the special education for the gifted to develop their talents and national power is gradually recognized, many kinds of teaching-learning materials have been developed. However, the development tendency of the materials is not systematically studied because their database is not sufficiently constructed nor most of them are made public. In this research, we would like to provide the reference data to improve the quality of developed materials and reduce the deviation among the classified fields when we will develop the teaching-learning materials by collecting the already developed materials and analyse their development tendency by classifying them according to the contents.

  • It is one of important and interesting topics in mathematics education to study the process of the logical thinking and the intuitive thinking in mathematical problem-solving abilities from the viewpoint of mathematical thinking. The main purpose of the present paper is to investigate on this problem with reference to secondary talented students (students aged 16~17 years). In particular, we focus on the relationship between the preference of mathematical thinking and their problem-solving abilities for logical-type problems by applying logistic regression analysis.

  • 1999년 교육개발원에서는 초 ${\cdot}$ 중학교 영재 교육과정 시안 개발을 위한 기초연구와 수학과 영재 교육과정 시안에 관한 보고서를 발간하였는데 이 보고서에 초 ${\cdot}$ 중학교 수학과 영재 교육과정 시안이 제시되어 있다. 이 영재 교육과정 시안으로써 그 내용에 상응하는 수학 교수 ·학습 자료 개발이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 한국교육개발원에서는 영재 교수 ${\cdot}$ 학습 자료개발 및 영재교사 연수가 본격적으로 확대, 추진되고 있는 실정이며 또한 2002년${\sim}$2003년 2년간 한국교육개발원에서는 영재학생을 위한 교수 ${\cdot}$ 학습 자료를 개발하여 왔다. 이런 취지를 바탕으로 지금 우리에게 영재 교육의 시급한 문제는 초 ${\cdot}$ 중등에 필요한 다양한 영재 교육프로그램을 마련하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국교육개발원에서 마련한 교재개발 지침에 따라 2005학년도 교수 학습 자료를 중학교중심으로 영재 교육 프로그램을 구현해 보고자 한다.

An Analysis of Ethical Judgement Ability of the Mathematically Gifted Students in Middle School (중등 수학영재들의 도덕 판단 능력 분석)

  • The purposes of this study are to confirm the standard of ethical judgement ability of the mathematically gifted students and examine which factor makes on the ethical judgement ability among the mathematically behavior characteristics. For it, correlation analysis and regression analysis between the two things were conducted with SPSS 12.0 based on the results of mathematically behavior characteristic inspection and ethical judgement ability inspection. Also, the interview was conducted for students whose KDIT score is the highest and the results were intended to apply the results as the material supporting the results of qualitative test results. The interview with students examined which mathematically behavior characteristic factor made an effect on his own ethical judgement ability through the structural questionnaires.

The Relationships between Mathematically Gifted Students and Regular Students in Perfectionism and the Affective Traits (중등 영재학생과 일반학생의 완벽주의 성향과 수학교과에 대한 정의적 특성과의 관계)

  • This study investigates the relationships of perfectionism and the affective traits(academic self-concept, learning attitude, interest, mathematical anxiety, learning habits) in mathematics between the gifted students and the regular students in Korean Middle Schools. The findings of this study can be used for the understanding of the gifted students, and as data or resources for counsellors when they advise the gifted students on enhancing study strategies and developing future courses. This study was investigated by measuring the relationships between perfectionism and the affective traits on mathematics between two groups. Here, the correlation analysis, t-test, and regression analysis of the SPSS for Window 12.0 Program were applied to measure the differences of both groups. Therefore, there were no differences in perfectionism between the gifted students and the regular students. But the self-oriented perfectionism of the gifted students appeared higher compare with regular students. The affective traits in mathematics of the gifted students appeared more positive compare with regular students. There were a few correlations between the perfectionism and the affective traits in mathematics at two group all. however the self-oriented perfectionism and the affective traits in mathematics showed to correlation. There were several suggestions based on the results of this study. First, the results showed that professional assistance is needed for the gifted students so that their perfectionism flows positively into developing their gifts. Secondly, the results suggested that specialized mathematical program reflecting on the affective traits of the gifted students in mathematics should be offered.Lastly, tthe results of this study suggested a researcher regarding relevance with perfectionism and affective traits regarding subject shall be performed more. The result of research shall be included to contents of training for the gifted students and their parents.

러시아 꼴모그로프 영재학교에서의 수학교육

  • 러시아 영재 교육에 있어서, 가장 깊은 역사를 가진 중등학교 중에서 하나가 꼴모그로프영재학교이다. "꼴모그로프"는 러시아에서 가장 위대한 현대 수학자의 이름이다. 순수 수학 분야에서 뿐만아니라 그 학교에서 직접 학생들에게 수학을 가르쳤었다. 이 학교는 10, 11학년의 두 학년으로 구성되어 있고, 각 학년은 세 학급으로, 그리고 각 학급마다 20 - 25명의 학생들이 공부를 하고 있다. 졸업 후에는 대학을 진학하게 된다는 측면에서는 우리나라의 고등학교와 그 성격을 같이 하고 있다.
