UAV Application Technology for Detection of Coastal Topography (연안지형 변화 탐지를 위한 UAV 활용기술)

  • 최근 새만금 방조제 건설이 완료됨에 따라 주변 연안지역의 지형에 많은 변화가 감지되었다. 본 연구대상지는 격포해수욕장으로서 새만금 사업 준공 후 연안침식에 따른 모래 유실 등으로 인해 양빈사업 등이 검토되고 있는 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 연안지형 변화 탐지를 위한 UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) 활용기술을 제시하는 것으로서 총 3회에 걸쳐 UAV 영상을 촬영하였다. 영상촬영은 DJI Inspire 2 UAV를 활용하였으며 VRS(Virtual Reference Service) 측량성과와 연계하여 Pix4D Mapper SW를 통해 정사영상과 수치표면모델(DSM; Digital Surface Model)을 제작하였다. 먼저 2018. 6. 29 ~ 2018. 12. 10 사이의 지형변화 탐지를 수행한 결과 침식과 퇴적의 최대값은 각각 2.56m와 2.24m로 나타났으며 평균적으로는 0.01m의 퇴적이 발생하였다. 그리고 2018. 6. 29 ~ 2019. 6. 14 동안의 침식과 퇴적의 최대값은 각각 2.31m와 2.28m로 나타났으며 평균값은 0.02m의 침식이 발생하였다. 또한 2018. 12. 10 ~ 2019. 6. 14 사이에는 침식과 퇴적의 최대값이 각각 2.28m와 2.55m로 나타났으며 평균값은 0.03m의 침식이 발생하였다. 지형변화를 보다 상세히 모니터링하고자 퇴적과 침식구간을 나누어 분석을 수행한 결과, 2018. 6. 29 ~ 2018. 12. 10 사이에는 0.5m 이내의 침식과 퇴적구간 면적이 각각 13,324.4m2와 14,667.3m2로 퇴적구간의 면적이 1,342.9m2 만큼 높게 나타났으며, 2018. 12. 10 ~ 2019. 6. 14 사이에는 0.5m 이내의 침식과 퇴적구간 면적이 각각 16,176.6m2와 11,723.0m2로 침식구간의 면적이 4,453m2 만큼 높게 나타났다. 또한 2018. 12. 10 ~ 2019. 6. 14 사이에는 0.5m 이내의 침식과 퇴적구간 면적이 각각 16,821.6m2와 11,126.4m2로 침식구간의 면적이 5,695.2m2 만큼 크게 분석되었다. 이와 같이 UAV 영상 기반의 연안지형 모니터링을 수행할 경우 시계열 지형변화를 효과적으로 모니터링할 수 있으며, 이러한 업무는 새만금 방조제 건설에 따른 지형변화의 영향평가 등 다양한 연안업무에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 2018년 물관리 일원화를 위한 정부조직법 개정으로 기존 국토교통부의 「수자원의 조사·계획 및 관리에 관한 법률」 등의 사무가 환경부로 이관되었다. 과거 부처별로 나누어진 물 관리 체계에 따라 부처간 업무중복, 과잉투자 등 수량과 수질에 대한 분리된 관리체계의 한계점으로 유역 상류에 설치된 댐의 경우 저류된 댐 용수의 수질악화의 문제가 발생하였다. 또한, 물관리 일원화 이후, 「제2차 물환경관리 기본계획」에서는 2025년까지 주요 상수원 수질을 좋음(I)등급 달성을 목표로 제시하였고, 이와 연계하여 평가지표 등에 설정한 댐 수질목표를 2025년까지 매우좋음(Ia) 등급 달성을 위해서는 댐 상류 주요 오염원에 대한 과학적 분석이 필요하며 이에 대한 관리대책 마련이 시급한 상황이다. 본 연구의 공간적 범위인 사연댐은 울산공업지구의 공업용수 확보를 위해 1965년 준공되어 울산 일원에 100,000m3/일 이상의 공업용수를 공급하는 수원시설이며, 대곡댐은 기존 울산지역에 공업용수로 사용하던 사연댐의 물을 생활용수로 전환하고, 대곡·사역댐의 연계운영을 통해 연간 66백만의 생활용수를 공급하기 위한 수원시설이다. 수질 목표기준의 경우 대곡댐은 좋음(Ib), 사연댐은 매우좋음(Ia)로 설정되어 있으나, 2015~2019년까지의 TOC, T-P의 평균 달성률을 살펴보면 대곡댐은 TOC 45.8%, T-P 27.1%의 목표수질 달성률을 나타내었고, 사연댐은 TOC 및 T-P 모두 0%로 목표수질을 달성하지 못한 것으로 조사되었다. 본 연구에서는 대곡·사연댐 상류 유역을 대상으로 유역의 특성 및 오염원 발생 특성을 파악하고, 이에 따른 물환경관리 종합대책을 수립하기 위하여 1) 유역 물환경 기초자료 조사와, 2) 모니터링을 통한 댐유역 오염 원인분석을 수행하였다. 그 결과를 바탕으로 소유역별 오염부하량을 분석하고 개선대책(안)을 도출하였다. 이 때, 개선대책의 효과를 분석하기 위해서 유역 모형(HSPF)과 호소수질(AEM3D) 모형을 활용하여 수질모델 구축 및 보정을 수행하였고, 개선 대책(안)에 대한 목표수질 달성여부를 파악하였다. 최종적으로 대곡·사연댐 유역의 호소수질 변화를 파악하고 댐 유역 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 물환경관리 종합대책을 제시하였다.

  • Efficiency and efficient management on maintenance/repair/operation (MRO) phase is getting important with advance in technologies and complex functionalities of building and facility. Using software systems as well as advanced hardware systems in MRO area is spreading along with this trend to take advantage of information technology. Information of building and facility for MRO phase is derived from engineering/procurement/construction (EPC) phase. But most current commercial software systems in EPC and MRO are focusing on their own phase, which arise lack of consistency of information from EPC to MRO phase. But, the information system now used at the MRO phase stop flowing the building and the facilities information and then newly create. Moreover, from all asset management point of view, asset particulars such as the structures and equipments are different the value fluctuation. In order to reflect these information rationally, the construction costs are correctly distributed and the initial price of the asset particulars have to be estimated. In this study, develop the information model which can apply the cost information at the EPC phase to the MRO phase.

Study on the Geological Structure around KURT Using a Deep Borehole Investigation (장심도 시추공을 이용한 KURT 주변의 지질구조 연구)

  • To characterize geological features in study area for high-level radioactive waste disposal research, KAERI (Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute) has been performing the several geological investigations such as geophysical surveys and borehole drilling since 1997. Especially, the KURT (KAERI Underground Research Tunnel) constructed to understand the deep geological environments in 2006. Recently, the deep borehole of 500 m depths was drilled to confirm and validate the geological model at the left research module of the KURT. The objective of this research was to identify the geological structures around KURT using the data obtained from the deep borehole investigation. To achieve the purpose, several geological investigations such as geophysical and borehole fracture surveys were carried out simultaneously. As a result, 7 fracture zones were identified in deep borehole located in the KURT. As one of important parts of site characterization on KURT area, the results will be used to revise the geological model of the study area.

A Study on the Prediction of Referral Intension based on Customer Satisfaction in Construction Management (CM에서 고객만족도에 기반한 추천의향 예측에 관한 연구)

  • The main roots of CM service contracts include existing customer repurchases and those made by new customers by existing ones. The study on customers and loyalty can be factors to strengthen CM's competitiveness. However, there have been little attempt to study customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Construction Management (CM), the advanced construction management method, was introduced 15 years ago in the mid 1990's in the domestic market. The aim of this research is to build a model that can predict customer loyalty based on how much customers are satisfied with CM service. To measure customer satisfaction and loyalty, this research surveyed 135 decision-makers who have experienced CM services. Customer satisfaction was tested and analyzed according to different phases: planning, designing, procurement, construction, and post construction. Referral intention was tested based on NPS theory. Customer types were divided into detractors, passively satisfied and promoters according to the tested measurement and multinomial logistic regression between the satisfaction by construction phases and customer types. This research resulted to a model that can predict customer types: detractors, passively satisfied and promoters, which were determined according to satisfaction level. The initial planning phase also revealed which factor is most influential for a customer to become promoter. These results can be used to acquire customer loyalty by managing the satisfaction of customers through a project under an Internet-based environment. Such can provide the needed information in quickly exploring positive and negative word-of-mouth feedbacks.

Remodeling Process Model Applying Service Life and Functionality Evaluation for Military Facilities (내용연수와 기능성 평가를 활용한 군 시설물 리모델링 대상 선정 프로세스 모델)

  • The number of military facilities has been rapidly increased due to growing requirement of modernization and military welfare. However, adequate maintenance has not implemented to these facilities. As a result, they are deteriorated quickly and require performance enhancement treatments. There are two ways of performance enhancement, reconstruction and remodeling. Despite the research result that remodeling within the standard remodeling range is more economical, remodeling of military facilities is not considered equivalent to reconstruction as an option of performance improvement. Therefore, derived from the relationship between performance change during life cycle of building and range of remodeling needs, this study tries to propose Remodeling Process Model(RPM) which uses a method to choose remodeling in a Specific Point of Time(SPT) when remodeling is considered more economical than reconstruction. In addition, this study suggests practical service life and functionality evaluation standard together which require to realize the RPM. This RPM make it possible to avoid the cases that facilities which do not have any problem on structural reliability but have low level of functionality miss appropriate remodeling timing and inevitably choose reconstruction as a performance improvement option. It also present the possibility of simple reconstruction / remodeling decision-making for facility managers who administrate building having various type, compilation and elapsed time. Consequently, this process model focusing on remodeling more may contribute to reduce resource waste caused by reconstruction.

Analyzing Planning Performance of Road Construction Projects Using Preliminary Feasibility Analysis Data (예비타당성조사 결과를 활용한 도로건설사업의 계획단계 성과 분석 연구)

  • According to the post evaluation scheme in Korea of a public construction project which is more than 30 Billion KRW, project performance is evaluated by investigating outcomes and effects of the construction after the completion of the project. The current post evaluation results can be used for planning and estimating a construction project in the future. However, it is not easy to utilized for an on-going project because the system does not provide the phase-based performance of a project. Although project planning performance is important for project initiation, few attempt has been made to evaluate planning performance in Korea. The purpose of this study is to provide a conceptual performance evaluation of planning performance using preliminary feasibility study conducted by Korea Development Institute. This study developed a planning performance database using data extracted from preliminary feasibility study reports of the completed 354 road construction projects. This study analyzed the performance of the planning stage of road projects by developing absolute metrics such as standard construction cost and standard construction schedule based on a Lane-Km. Using the standard construction cost and schedule metrics, the planning performance was analyzed by project characteristics. The results of this study can be used for phase-based performance evaluation from planning phase to construction phase.

  • Periodic and systemic disaster management has become more important than ever owing to the recent continuous occurrence of disasters, such as fires, earthquakes, and flooding. This management goes beyond simple disaster preparedness, which was introduced minimally under the existing legal system. For effective disaster management, facilities should be managed through regular maintenance on a daily basis, and in the case of an emergency, intuitive and accurate communication is essential regarding the situation and purpose. BIM manages the entire building property data using the effective 3D visualization model, so it can be used for various management purposes from design to facility maintenance. In this study, through an expert survey on the use of services in a BIM-based integrated disaster information system, the available areas of BIM data were organized in terms of facility information management, 3D visualization, and disaster control. Later, through the use service and DB definition within the BIM-based disaster integration information system, the main facilities monitoring and response services based on BIM and BIM-based spatial management service are proposed. Based on this study, it is hoped that the BIM-based application service functions within the system will be implemented to enable an effective system response.

  • 교통주제도는 건설교통부와 한국교통연구원이 ${\ulcorner}$국가교통DB구축사업${\lrcorner}$의 일환으로 제작한 것으로, 국토지리정보원의 NGIS 수치지도(축척 1:5,000)를 기반으로 하여 현장조사 및 문헌조사를 통해 갱신, 보완하여 교통 분야의 활용에 적합하도록 구축한 GIS 수치지도이다. 교통주제도는 현장조사와 문헌조사를 통해 수집된 자료를 기반으로 구축되며 이중 교통시설물조사는 문헌자료(준공도로현황 등)를 참고하여 산정된 조사대상에 대하여 GPS 조사시스템을 활용, 도형 및 속성정보를 취득하는 것을 말한다. 조사항목은 도형정보(노드, 링크) 및 속성정보(차선수, 도로번호 등)이며 GPS 조사시스템과 조사원장(도면)을 이용하여 조사한다. 교통시설물조사와 문헌자료조사를 통해 수집된 자료는 단위도엽(1:5,000기준)별로 교통주제도에 반영되며 최종적으로 전국단위의 통합자료로 구축된다 교통주제도는 사용목적과 축척기준에 따라 단순화되며 이를 교통주제도 레벨이라 한다. 교통주제도의 레벨은 총 4단계로 구분되며 현재 레벨2에서 레벨4까지 구축되고 있다. 교통분석용 네트워크는 교통시설투자계획, 수요분석, 타당성 평가와 같은 교통분야의 연구를 수행하기 위해 반드시 필요한 자료이다. 교통분석용 네트워크는 교통주제도보다 더 단순화된 도로망 모델로서 구성요소는 노드(시점, 종점, 죤 센트로이드)와 링크(도로망, 센트로이드 커넥터)이며 도로의 기하구조보다는 논리적 구조(방향성, 노드/링크 연결성 등)에 중점을 둔 데이터이다 교통분석용 네트워크는 교통주제도의 도형과 속성정보를 기반으로 하며 각종 통계자료(도로교통량통계연보 등)를 활용, 구축된다. 교통분석용 네트워크는 구축시점에 따라 현재 및 장래 네트워크로 구분되며 장래 네트워크는 기준년도부터 2031년까지 5년 단위로 계획된 장래도로를 반영하여 구축된다. 교통주제도 및 교통분석용 네트워크는 국가교통DB구축사업을 통해 구축된 자료로서 교통체계효율화법 제9조의4에 따라 공공기관이 교통정책 및 계획수립 등에 활용할 수 있도록 제공하고 있다. 건설교통부의 승인절차를 거쳐 제공하며 활용 후에는 갱신자료 및 활용결과를 통보하는 과정을 거치도록 되어있다. 교통주제도는 국가의 교통정책결정과 관련분야의 기초자료로서 다양하게 활용되고 있으며, 특히 ITS 노드/링크 기본지도로 활용되는 등 교통 분야의 중요한 지리정보로서 구축되고 있다.

Study on Stress Recovery Length of 7-Wire Strand due to Local Damage (강연선의 국부적 손상에 따른 응력 회복길이 분석 연구)

  • This study examined the stress recovery length due to the local damage of a 7-wire strand, which is applied widely to PSC (Post Tensioned Concrete) bridges and cable-stayed bridges. The 7-wire strand is a multiple stranded steel of PC prestressing strand. Owing to the nature of the material, it is damaged continuously after completion with corrosion being the main cause of damage. On the other hand, due to its structural characteristics, it is difficult to grasp the degree of damage inside the cable and the pattern of stress variation. In the case of cables applied to bridges, the parts that are susceptible to corrosion are generated depending on the water supply and installation shape, which may cause local damage. This study analyzed the tendency of performance degradation and stress recovery length according to local damage of a 7-wire strand, which is applied mainly to bridge post-tensioning or stay cables. This study developed a computer-based simulation model that was validated with experimental results. The model developed in this study can be used to evaluate the safety level and estimate the remaining life span of P SC bridges or cable-stayed bridges.
