The friction coefficients of the rubber for clutch master cylinder were experimentally measured in this study. The cylindrical rubber samples for primary cup-seal and secondary cup-seal were tested against the aluminum or the steel plates of master cylinder housing under the various conditions of brake oil temperatures and normal loads. Dry sliding friction coefficients were also measured under various load conditions. The test revealed following results. First, the friction coefficient under fluid lubrication condition in general decreases, as the oil temperature or normal load increases. Second, the steel plate of low surface roughness yielded comparatively low friction coefficient on the range of 0.30∼0.67. On the other hand, the aluminum plate of high surface roughness yielded high friction coefficient on the range of 0.31∼1.15. Third, the friction coefficient of dry surface contact decreases as the normal load increases. This is contrary to the general principle of friction coefficient between metal plates.

The characteristics of rubber cup seal is highly nonlinear due to the nature of the material's non-linearity and large deformation with frictional contact. And the performance of sealing in master cylinders of automobile is one of the most important factors which affects the safety of drivers. The effects of various shape of the primary cup seal in clutch master cylinder was investigated to reduce oil leakage and to obtain a long reliable life. Deformation and distribution of stresses on the primary cup seal against hydraulic oil pressure were analyzed with changing design parameters such as depth and radius in cup-seal. The obtained results indicate that the depth of cup seal plays a major role on deformation resulting in the sealing force to the wall of clutch master cylinder.

화장품은 그 어떤 제품보다도 소비자가 사용 시 느끼는 관능특성 및 그에 대한 만족도가 중요한 제품이다. 자연스러우면서도 가벼운 메이컵이 유행함에 따라 페이스 파우더를 사용하는 소비자의 비중이 높아지고 그에 따라 다양한 관능특성을 가진 페이스 파우더들이 개발되고 있다. 사전 조사에 따르면 페이스 파우더 사용자들의 사용이유는 자연스러운 화장 및 가벼운 화장, 화사해 보임(블루밍 효과) 등이 주를 이루며 페이스 파우더 사용 시에 주요하게 느끼는 관능특성으로는 파우더 입자에 관한 사항과 화장상태에 관한 사항이 동시에 고려되는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 평상시에 페이스파우더를 주로 사용하는 여성들을 대상으로 다양한 페이스파우더들을 실제 화장단계에 따라 사용하면서 인지되는 페이스 파우더의 관능특성들을 도출하게 한 결과 중 19가지 관능특성 평가 용어가 도출되었으며 이 용어들은 다시 입자 및 도포 요인/촉촉함 및 매트함 요인/색상 및 블루밍 요인의 세가지 요인으로 분류되었다. 이러한 페이스파우더의 주요 관능특징요인과 소비자들이 중요하게 생각하는 관능특성을 적절히 조합하여 각각의 소비자군들이 선호하는 관능속성의 제품을 설계하고 평가할 수 있는 평가방법을 개발하였고 주후 제품개발에 활용하고자 한다.

월드컵 열기가 한창이던 6월 중순의 어느 날, 높은 습도와 뜨거운 열기로 잠깐의 움직임에도 이마에서는 땀이 흘러내린다 소나기라도 내려주었으면 하는 바람으로 뜨거운 아스팔트길을 달린다. 서해안 고속도로를 달려 다시 당진상주간고속도로, 천안논산간고속도로, 호남고속도로를 달려 도착한 전북 전주시 효자동에 위치한 대한방직 주식회사, 새로 들어선 도청과 네모반듯한 아파트 숲에 1975년에 지어진 공장의 모습은 사뭇 대조적이지만, 어딘가 모를 여유가 느껴지는 풍경을 자아낸다.

부산은 쾌적하고 깨끗한 도시환경조성으로 향후 2002년 아시안게임 및 월드컵 경기대회를 성공적으로 개최하기 위해 대기오염자동측정소(11개소) 및 대기환경측정차량을 이용하여 부산지역 및 주요 경기장, 마라톤코스 등에 대해 대기질을 측정하고 그 결과를 토대로 대기오염관리 대책을 수립하고 있다. 대도시 지역의 대기오염은 약 70% 가량이 자동차에서 배출되는 오염물질에 의한 것으로 부산의 경우 우리나라 제1의 항구도시라는 특성상 콘테이너 차량의 95%가 부산에 집중해 있으며$^{1)}$ , 매년 자동차의 증가율이 약 10%로 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며 낮은 도로율로 인한 자동차의 정체가 가중되어 대기질이 악화되어 마라톤 등의 도로경기는 차량의 배출가스에 절대적으로 많은 영향을 받을 수밖에 없는 현실이다. Due to the high digital technology, various devices such as TV, PC, smartphone, and pad computer are connected to each other using internet and under the circumstance internet services of which the running platforms are mainly PC become "N-screenlized" by extending their service platform to non-PC devices. As a digital TV has outstanding features of being the most influential device in the living room and having the wide spectrum of users, several internet services has been ported on the digital TV platform (in the form of data services) in order to enhance their brand powers. Most of the services, however, failed to get a satisfactory results as the data services are defeated by the broadcasting contents in the competition for the viewer's interests. In the paper, the design guidelines that make data services not to compete with the broadcasting contents are proposed and a prototype of a data service that accommodates the guidelines is introduced. The prototype, called "TV ideal-type world-cup", does not disturb a viewer's watching broadcast contents and channel-changing behavior while it is running and its service flow is designed for a viewer to achieve the goal of service in a few minutes so that the viewer can enjoy the service in a commercial period.

This research intended to reveal the special characteristics of the vegetation structure and the tendency of change of -landfill slope districts, which are reclaimed land, through an investigationsinto the presently existent vegetation and plant community structure of the World Cup Park landfill slope district. For the analysis of changes in vegetation, this study compared the results of field surveys in 1999, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2021. For the investigation into the plant community structure, a field investigation was carried out in 2021 with six fixed investigation districts designated in 1999 as subjects. To analyze the change in the plant community structure, the past data on the population, the number of the species, and the species diversity by the layer in 2021 were compared and analyzed in the landfill slope district, which is reclaimed land. The changes of the vegetation distribution and the power had been affected by typhoons (Kompasu). Above the plantation foundation, which had been dry and poor, Salix koreensis, marsh woody plants that had formed the community, decreased greatly. The Robinia pseudoacacia community, after the typhoon in 2010, decreased in the number of species and population. Afterward, it showed a tendency to rebound. Regarding the Ailanthus altissima-Robinia pseudoacacia-Paulownia tomentosa community, the number of the species and the population had shown a change similar to the Robinia pseudoacacia community. The Paulownia tomentosa and the Ailanthus altissima have been culled. The slope was predicted as a Future Robinia pseudoacacia forest. The Salix pseudolasiogyne community has been transitioning to a Robinia pseudoacacia forest. Only some enumeration districts, the Robinia pseudoacacia forests and the Salix pseudolasiogyne, had been growing. However, most had been in been declining. It was predicted that this community will be maintained as a Robinia pseudoacacia forest in the future. As these vegetation communities are the representative vegetation of the landfill slope districts, which is reclaimed land, there is a need to understand the ecosystem changes of the community through continuous monitoring. The results of this research can be utilized as a basic material for the vegetation restoration of reclaimed land.

Purpose: The main purpose of this study is to suggest application plan of dipping method by comparing & analysing the difference between addition method and dipping method in the manufacture of metal-ceramic substructure of maxillary central incisor (#1), followed by assessing the work efficiency. Materials and Methods: Master die and hard plaster-copied one were produced and then a total of 20 copies, 10 copies for each through addition method and dipping method, were manufactured and experimented. Copings were fixed on the abutment model and invested in epoxy mounting cup. Samples were cut in labial and lingual direction, using cutter and then rubbed on sandpaper, whose 4 points were measured by using digital microscope. Results: The comparison of mean values by using t-test, parametric statistical method, shows overall significant difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The result of this study can be suggested as an application plan, since there is no significant difference between addition method and dipping method in the manufacture of metal-ceramic substructure.

This study examined the effects of vocalization on upper extremity muscle activity during reaching task in patients with hemiplegia. Thirteen persons with right brain stroke performed reaching to a cup under four concurrent speech conditions of vocalizing the word "Ah" with hemiplegic side. These four conditions are self-vocalization, external vocalization, imaginary vocalization, and no vocalization. The muscle activity(Biceps brachii, Triceps brachii, Middle deltoid, and Upper trapezius) were measured using MP150. Muscle activity was significantly higher under self-vocalization and external vocalization conditions compared to the muscle activity under imaginary vocalization and no vocalization conditions on triceps brachii muscle.(p<0.05). Triceps brachii muscle was highly correlated with biceps brachii muscle(r=0.777, p<0.05). The results suggest that self-vocalization and external vocalization can be used in facilitating upper extremity movements in patients with stroke. When working with patients with right hemispheric stroke, therapists might explore possibilities of using patient's self-speech to enhance the quality of upper extremity movement performance.
