  • 최근 차량의 고급화에 따라 차실 소음 저감에 대한 연구가 많이 수행되고 있다. 차실의 소음은 주로 엔진 또는 동력전달 장치의 진동과 도로의 요철로 생기는 차체의 진동으로부터 발생된다. 차실에서 20-200Hz의 저주파수대의 소음은 주로 차체 진동과의 연성 효과로 기인한다. 따라서 이 주파수영역에 있어서 소음의 특성을 파악하기 위해서는 차실의 음향 모우드 해석과 차체 구조물의 진동과 차실 음향 모우드의 상호관계를 고려한 구조-음향 연성 해 석이 필요하다. 차실의 음향 모우드 해석을 위해서는 실험적 방법과 유한 요 소법을 이용하는 방법이 있다. 유한 요소법을 이용하여 음향 특성을 결정하 는 경우, 큰 어려움은 없으나 밀폐된 공동에서 경계면을 이루는 구조물의 진 동에 의해 음이 발생되는 경우 단순히 공간의 음향 특성만으로는 음향 응답 을 예측할 수 없게 된다. 즉, 경계면에서 반사되는 반사파는 경계면의 탄성 변위에 의해 운동 특성이 변화되어 반사되므로 입사파와 다른 특성을 가지 게 된다. 따라서 이러한 구조 진동 특성과 음향 특성을 모두 고려한 연성 해 석을 수행하여야 하며, 음향 모우드와 구조 진동 모우드와의 연성에 의한 음 향 응답 특성을 결정하기 위한 수치 해석 프로그램을 개발하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 전.후 처리 및 사용자 편의성을 염두에 두고 차실소음해석 전용 프로그램(ACSTAP: Acoustical and structural, coupling analysis program) 을 작성하고 이를 실차에 적용하여 유용성을 보였다.

Development and performance evaluation of traction system for steep gradient and sharp curve track (급구배 및 급곡선 궤도 추진시스템 개발 및 성능 평가)

  • In this study, core technologies of a traction system on a mountain tram operating on the track of mountain road full of sharp curves and steep gradients were developed. In domestic mountain resort areas, sometimes the transportation service is not provided in winter because of ice and heavy snow on roads, so a mountain railway service independent of the climate and geographic conditions is needed. A traction system was designed taking into account of the power of a traction motor to climb the gradient of 120 ‰, which is common in domestic mountainous areas. and power transmission system was designed to consider the installation space for the traction system. In addition, a reduction gear and a propeller shaft were developed. An elastic pinion was developed and applied to the rack & pinion bogie system for steep gradient so that noise and vibration generated by contact between the steel gears could be reduced. Impact comparison tests showed that the vibration level of the elastic pinion is one-third lower than that of previous steel pinion. Independent rotating wheels and axles were developed for the bogie system to operate on the sharp curve of a 10 meter radius. In addition, the band braking system was developed to enhance the braking force during running on the steep gradient. A test for the braking force showed it exerts the required braking force. The performance of the developed core components were verified by the tests and finally they were applied to the bogie system running on the track of steep gradient and sharp curve.

Load analysis of an agricultural tractor during the harvesting operation (수확 작업 시 농업용 트랙터의 소요 동력 분석)

  • 본 연구는 수확 작업에 따른 농업용 트랙터의 차축 부하 분석을 목적으로 수행되었다. 트랙터의 부하 측정을 위한 부하 계측 시스템은 4개 차축의 토크 측정을 위한 휠 토크미터, 부하 데이터 수집을 위한 데이터 수집장치, 토크미터에 전원을 공급하기 위한 전원공급장치, 트랙터 배터리를 이용하여 노트북 및 전원공급장치에 전원을 공급하기 위한 인버터, 데이터 처리를 위한 노트북으로 구성하였다. 본 연구에서는 부하계측을 수행하기 위해 동양물산(주)의 60 마력급 트랙터 T623을 사용하였다. 부하 분석은 수확 작업에 따른 주행 단수 별 데이터를 이용하여 통계분석을 수행하였다. 수확 작업 시 L2단에서 좌측 전륜에서의 최대, 최소, 평균, 표준편차 토크는 각각 1735.44, 818.36, 1201.38, 175.53 Nm로 나타났으며, 우측 후륜에서는 3685.11, 1971.68, 2981.80, 258.36 Nm로 나타났다. L3단에서 좌측 전륜에서의 최대, 최소, 평균, 표준편차 토크는 각각 1580.94, 701.06, 1007.93, 125.11 Nm로 나타났으며, 우측 후륜에서는 3239.57, 1735.44, 2472.11, 307.85 Nm로 나타났다. 트랙터의 차축 부하는 L2단에서 L3단으로 작업속도가 증가함에 따라 좌측 전륜에서 약 0.83배, 우측 후륜에서 약 0.82배 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 향후에는 Romax_Designer (Version 17, Romax Technology, UK)을 사용하여 작업 부하에 따른 트랙터 트랜스미션 해석을 하여 트랙터 PTO 최적설계 가능성을 제시할 계획이다. 정격 출력 조건에서 시뮬레이션을 진행하여 트랙터 트랜스미션을 설계하면 안전성을 확보할 수 있지만 최적설계를 위해서는 실제 포장시험 데이터를 이용한 시뮬레이션이 필요하다고 판단된다.

CFD-based Thrust Analysis of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle in Hover Mode: Effects of Single Rotor Blade Shape (무인비행체 블레이드 형상 변화에 따른 단일로터의 제자리 비행 추력성능 분석)

  • An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) should be designed to be as small and lightweight as possible to optimize the efficiency of changing the blade shape to enhance the aerodynamic performance, such as the thrust and power. In this study, a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation of an unmanned multi-rotor aerial vehicle in hover mode was performed to explore the thrust performance in terms of the blade rotational speed and blade shape parameters (i.e., taper ratio and twist angle). The commercial ADINA-CFD program was used to generate the CFD data, and the results were compared with those obtained from blade element theory (BET). The results showed that changes in the blade shape clearly affect the aerodynamic thrust of a UAV rotor blade.

Performance Evaluation of Vortex Screen for Treatment of Fine Particles in Storm Runoff (Vortex Screen장치를 이용한 강우유출수내 미세입자 처리특성 분석)

  • The use of hydrodynamic separator is becoming increasingly popular for suspended solids reduction in urban storm runoff. This study is a laboratory investigation of the use of Vortex Screen to reduce the solids concentration of synthesized storm runoff. The synthesized storm runoff was made with water and addition of particles; manhole sediment, road sediment, fly ash, and ployvinyl chloride powder. Vortex Screen was made of acryl resin with 250 mm of diameter and height of 700 mm. To determine the removal efficiency for various influent concentrations of suspended solids (SS) and chemical oxygen demand (COD), tests were performed with different operational conditions. The samples were taken simultaneously at the influent storage tank and effluent tank, and measured SS and COD concentrations. The ranges of surface loading rate were 110 to 1,550 $m^3/m^2$/day, and influent SS concentrations were varied from 141 to 1,986 mg/L. This paper was intended to evaluate the effect of inlet baffle and the ratio of underflow to overflow ($Q_U/Q_O$) on particle separation efficiency for various particle size using Vortex Screen. It was found that when increase of $Q_U/Q_O$ from 10% to 20%, SS removal efficiency was increased about 6%. The range of SS and COD removal efficiencies of road sediment particle size 125<$d_p$<300 ${\mu}m$ were 68.0~81.0%, 53.1~71.9%, respectively. Results showed that SS removal efficiency with inlet baffle improved by about 10~20% compared without inlet baffle.

$SiH_4+H_2$ 대한 플라즈마 장치의 수치 모델링

  • 한TFT-LCD, Solar cell, 반도체 등에 사용되는 Si 박막은 주로 PECVD로 형성한다. 이 때 사용되는 원료 가스로 $SiH_4$가 있으며 대개 $H_2$로 희석해서 사용한다. 저온 증착의 경우 전자 충돌 해리과정을 이용하여 증착이 이루어지며 이 때 중간 생성물로 $SiH_3$, $SiH_2$와 고차유도체($Si_xH_y$)가 생성된다. 고밀도 플라즈마를 이용하는 경우에는 이들의 이온(양, 음)의 비율도 막질 형성에 중요한 요소가 된다. 본 발표에서는 안테나가 외부 및 내부에 있는 경우에 대해서 모델링하였으며 해리된 유도체의 비율은 $SiH_3$ > $SiH_2$의 순서였고 가스 조성비(수소 희석비), U-type 내장형 안테나와 기판 사이의 거리, 챔버 내의 펌핑 포트의 위치 등에 의한 차이가 플라즈마 온도 및 밀도의 균일도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 수치 모델상의 가장 중요한 변수의 하나인 이온, 라디칼의 표면 재결합 상수는 문헌에서 보고된 값을 구하기 어려운 경우에는 가장 실제와 근접한 경향이 나타나는 값을 사용하였다. 이 부분은 분자 동력학 등의 기법을 이용하여 보다 상세한 데이터를 만들어 낼 수 있는 방법의 적용이 필요하다. 기본적인 $SiH_4$의 화학 반응식은 이원기[1]등의 데이터를 이용하였다. 계산 결과 중의 특이한 점의 하나는 고차 유도체인 $Si_2H_4$의 경우 중성보다 오히려 양이온의 밀도가 1 order이상 높았다. 내장형 Y-type 안테나의 경우 전력 흡수 밀도가 $10^7\;W/m^3$ 수준으로 높은 영역이 안테나 주변으로 나타났으며 안테나와 기판 사이의 거리와 압력에 따라서 기판에서의 균일도가 결정 되었다.

Development of Large Propulsion Motor Bearings Considering Slope Conditions (경사조건을 고려한 대용량 추진 전동기용 베어링 개발에 대한 연구)

  • In this study, bearings were developed for a high-power propulsion motor operating in inclined operation conditions through a simulation and similitude-experimental methods using commercial rotating machinery dynamics analysis software. The developed journal bearing is electrically insulated and has low thermal conductivity because each part is connected with 2-4 -mm-thick epoxy plates. To realize an appropriate oil thickness, an oil lift system is adopted, and a half separated structure is applied to ensure the feasibility of maintaining very heavy components. This study discusses some of the key design aspects of sleeve bearing design for high-torque and low-speed propulsion motor applications. Furthermore, the conditions of variable slope tests are examined to prevent oil leakage from the bearing lip seal on the test rig.

Flight Safety Improvement on Surion through Circuit Design and Software Reformation of Data Acquisition Unit (수리온 데이터획득/처리장치 동작회로 및 소프트웨어 개선을 통한 비행안전성 향상)

  • The data acquisition unit, signal acquiring and processing equipment, processes and provides major data of an aircraft such as engine system, power train system, hydraulic system, etc. However, it had lots of failure related to the system during production test flight, and it is necessary to fix them perfectly as soon as possible because of the significance of the equipment. In this paper, it contains failure classification and analysis for each defect element to improve whole software as well as electrical circuit. Particularly, utilizing Fault Injection Method based interworking test, more efficient improvement activity was performed for not only equipment level but also aircraft level, and as a result, it is achieved that considerable betterment of Surion quality and flight safety.

A Study on the Lateral Vibration Reduction of the High-speed Electric Multiple Unit (동력분산형 고속열차의 횡방향 진동저감에 관한 연구)

  • This study was carried out to reduce the lateral vibration of high-speed electric multiple units. In the study, the high-speed electric multiple unit prototype (HEMU-430X) has a high lateral vibration at low equivalent conicity regardless of the wheel profiles (XP55, GV40, S1002). As wheel wear progresses and the equivalent conicity increases, the lateral vibration tends to decrease. The reason is that a combination of the suspension characteristics causes the body and bogie to resonate at a frequency of 1.4 Hz when the equivalent conicity is low, resulting in body hunting. An investigation of the lateral vibration of overseas high-speed trains showed that a decrease in the hydraulic stiffness of the yaw damper could improve the vibration. The series stiffness of the yaw damper is a combination of the hydraulic stiffness and elastic joint. In this study, an attempt was made to improve the lateral vibration by lowering the stiffness of the elastic joint. The series stiffness of the adjusted yaw damper was approximately 60% compared to the original one. The on track test results showed improvement in the lateral vibration for both running directions. The vibration reduction method of this study can be used for EMU-250 and EMU-320 in future commercial operations.

Development of Friction Loss Measurement Device at Low Speed of Turbocharger in a Passenger Vehicle (승용차용 터보과급기의 저속 영역 마찰 손실 측정 장치 개발)

  • Turbocharging is widely used in diesel and gasoline engines as an effective way to reduce fuel consumption. But turbochargers have turbo-lag due to mechanical friction losses. Bearing friction losses are a major cause of mechanical friction losses and are particularly intensified in the lower speed range of the engine. Current turbochargers mostly use oil bearings (two journal bearings and one thrust bearing). In this study, we focus on the bearing friction in the lower speed range. Experimental equipment was made using a drive motor, load cell, magnetic coupling, and oil control system. We measured the friction losses of the turbocharger while considering the influence of the rotation speed, oil temperature, and pressure. The friction power losses increased exponentially when the turbocharger speed increased.
