5G 이동통신을 위한 전이중방식 송수신기의 자기간섭제어기술 동향 분석

  • 본 논문에서는 5G 이동통신에 적용하기 위한 동일대역 전이중방식 송수신기의 자기간섭제거 기술 동향에 대하여 분석하였다. 전이중방식 송수신기는 기존의 반이중방식 송수신시스템에 비하여 스펙트럼 효율성이 높고, 고속, 고용량의 데이터처리를 제공할 수 있기 때문에 5G 이동통신에서 사용될 송수신기 기술로 연구되고 있다. 전이중방식 송수신기에서 가장 문제가 되는 것은 동일주파수에서 송신과 수신이 이루어지면서 발생하는 자기간섭이며, 이를 해결하기 위한 자기간섭 격리 또는 제거기술이 안테나 및 채널, 아날로그 RF, 디지털 영역으로 구분되어 연구되고 있으며, 최근에는 시스템 측면에서 통신시스템의 성능을 확보하기 위한 연구가 다양하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 자기간섭제거기술의 정의 및 종류, 초기연구동향 그리고 최근 연구동향을 시스템측면과 요소기술측면에서 파악하여 전이중방식 송수신기를 위한 기본 연구를 통해 효율적인 설계를 위한 접근방법을 제시하고자 한다.

Development of Frequency Domain Matching for Automated Mosaicking of Textureless Images (텍스쳐 정보가 없는 영상의 자동 모자이킹을 위한 주파수영역 매칭기법 개발)

  • To make a mosaicked image, we need to estimate the geometric relationship between individual images. For such estimation, we needs tiepoint information. In general, feature-based methods are used to extract tiepoints. However, in the case of textureless images, feature-based methods are hardly applicable. In this paper, we propose a frequency domain matching method for automated mosaicking of textureless images. There are three steps in the proposed method. The first step is to convert color images to grayscale images, remove noise, and extract edges. The second step is to define a Region Of Interest (ROI). The third step is to perform phase correlation between two images and select the point with best correlation as tiepoints. For experiments, we used GOCI image slots and general frame camera images. After the three steps, we produced reliable tiepoints from textureless as well as textured images. We have proved application possibility of the proposed method.

Circuit Parameter Optimization and Significantly Enhanced ACPR of W-CDMA Signals of Feedforward Analog Optical Transmitter through Systemetic Approach (시스템적 접근을 통한 피드포워드 아날로그 광 송신기의 회로 파라미터 최적화와 W-CDMA 신호의 ACPR 개선)

  • The optical feedforward is known as a complicated technique in spite of its superior linearization. Here we optimized the feedforward circuit parameters using a systematic approach for optimum efficiency. A systematic approach was verified by transmission experiments of 2.14 GHz two tones. The compared third order IMD was enhanced by 38 dB for two-tone case. The experimental results for transmission of W-CDMA signals were described. The ACPR was enhanced by 20 dB for 1 W-CDMA carrier and by 16 dB for 3 W-CDMA carriers. Also, noise level was reduced by 7 dB.

  • In this paper, we consider an iterative learning control system(ILCS) consisting of an iterative learning controller, a feedback controller and a controlled plant in the frequency domain. At first, we review the convergence of ILCS. And we give some design guidelines of the ILCS using a nominal model of the plant. Then we present the structured and the unstructured uncertainty bound which guarantees the convergence of the designed iterative learning controller. In particular, we analyze the relationship between the convergence and the magnitude and phase uncertainties. In order to show the usefulness of the proposed analysis and design guidelines, we present some simulation examples. (author). 13 refs., 5 figs.

Receive Diversity for OFDM Systems with Cochannel Interference (동일 채널 간섭을 고려한 OFDM 시스템의 수신 다이버시티 기법)

  • In this paper, we propose a receive diversity method for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems with cochannel interference. In the method, combining is done in the frequency domain by using the subcarrier based maximum ratio combining (MRC) method. For MRC, we exploit the power of cochannel interference as well as the power of channel noise. The accuracy of the power estimate of interference plus noise is enhanced by averaging the initial estimates over the correlated subchannels where the coherency between the subchannel gains comes from the limited delay spread of the channel. Simulation results show that the proposed method yields 2-3.5dB gain of signal to noise ratio compared to the conventional MRC method and less than 1 dB difference to the ideal case.

  • In this paper, the realization of a directional digital hearing aid was considered. Conventional time domain time delay method was replaced with digital filters in order to make any general-purposed DSP (Digital Signal Processing) chip to produce the similar directivity pattern. Both the time delay algorithm and the digital filter algorithm were initially evaluated by Matlab (Matrix laboratory) for comparison, and it was confirmed by CSR 8675 Bluetooth DSP IC (Digital Signal Processing Integrated Circuit) chip firmware realization. Some remote control features by a smart phone was added to the smart hearing aid for user interface easiness.

  • In the seismic migration, Kirchhoff and reverse time migration are used in general. In the reverse time migration using wave equation, two-way and one-way wave equation are applied. The approach of one-way wave equation uses approximately computed downward continuation extrapolator, it need tess amounts of calculations and core memory in compared to that of two-way wave equation. In this paper, we applied one-way wave equation to pre-stack reverse time migration. In the frequency-space domain, forward propagation of source wavefield and back propagration of measured wavefield were executed by using monochromatic one-way wave equation, and zero-lag cross correlation of two wavefield resulted in the image of subsurface. We had implemented prestack migration on a massively parallel processors (MPP) CRAYT3E, and knew the algorithm studied here is efficiently applied to the prestck migration due to its suitability for parallelization.

  • In this paper, we propose the synchronization recovery algorithm which is suitable to wireless Multimedia of wireless channel situation which is being used OFDM signaling method. The basic of the suggested clock synchronization. restoration Algorithm is to getting the shock response of channel or getting the multipath strength profile through IFTT after the getting the frequency, response of deducted channel from channel deducted of receiver and to trace the location in the channel energy concentrated area of timing area. And it also analysis the start point of 64-QAM and 16-QAM if the sampling clock offset has the sample of ${\pm}$ 1-3, and we identified the occurance of performance deterioration when occures more than 2 samples of offset to compare with star point and BER performance in optimum sampling point result of BER performance checking, and we know that the recovery algorithm proposed algorithm also provide excellent synchronization characteries under frequency, selecting fading channel as result of simulation.

  • In the research of speech recognition, locating the beginning and end of a speech utterance in a background of noise is of great importance. The conventional methods for speech endpoint detection are based on two simple time-domain measurements-short-time energy, and short-time zero-crossing rate, which couldn't guarantee the precise results if in the low signal-to-noise ratio environments. This paper proposes a novel approach that finds the Lyapunov exponent of time-domain waveform. This proposed method has no use for obtaining the frequency-domain parameters for endpoint detection process, e.g. Mel-Scale Features, which have been introduced in other paper. Accordingly, this algorithm is low complexity and suitable for Digital Isolated Word Recognition System.

  • In this paper, we derive the optimum number of users which can maximize the information theoretic sum capacity in multiuser OFDM virtual MIMO uplink system. In which, there are multiple antennas at the base station and a number of users with single transmit antenna. Pilot-assisted channel state estimation is assumed for a block fading channel and time-varying fading channel. We analyze the tradeoff between the multiplexing gain and pilot overhead especially in low SNR regime and conclude that the optimum number of users is min ($N_r$,LT/2 ) in frequency nonselective block fading channel and approximately equal to min ($N_r$, ${\lfloor}{\sqrt{LT+1}}-1{\rfloor}$) in time varying fading channel. assuming the same pilot and signal pwoer.
