The Characteristics of the Apartment Buildings with Commercial Facilities in Urban Housing Blocks (집합주택단지 내 근린생활시설과 주동 복합건축물의 특성)

  • The objectives of this article are to grasp the characteristics of the apartment buildings with commercial facilities through various case studies and to present alternative measures in planning method to the issue of division of space function. To present the alternative planning method on apartment buildings with commercial facilities in urban housing blocks, 34 cases completed in 1990's were chosen in Seoul area. Substantial methods such as field research, close observation and interviews were carried out to analyze on these subjects. The analysis were focused on the sizes and features of apartment buildings and its relationships to other components. Other components can be roughly divided into four sectors which are environments, roads, arrangements of the main building and public facilities and commercial facilities inside the resident blocks.

  • Currently energy use planning council system is mandatory especially for the urban development project planned on a specified scale or more. The goal of existing demand prediction was to calculate the maximum load by multiplying energy load per unit area by building size. The result of this method may be exaggerated and has a limit in the information of period load. The paper suggests a new forecasting process based on standard unit household in order to upgrade the limit in demand prediction method of multi-family housing complex. The new process was verified by comparing actual using amount of multi-family housing complex to forecasting value of energy use plan.

  • To cope with the serious housing shortage arising from rapid urbanization and industrialization, residential communities were constructed to meet the growing demand for housing. However, mass construction of these residential communities unavoidably resulted in uniformity standardization. In particular, for high rise apartment blocs using the ground floor as the center of the lower levels housings has raised problem of sunshine, airing, privacy. The research which it sees as the house low evaluation it is coming to become it plans a public facilities on lower levels of the building which keeps the quality which the ground connection and human scale back separates as, to solve the problem point of the lower levels house and the resident collective life which is smooth becomes accomplished.

  • In the suburbs near the capital area in Korea, many apartment house complexes are dotted that encircled by field. These apartment house complexes encircled by field, have not park and are abutting on the field, unlike large scale new town. This study is aimed to clear the characteristic of field around these apartment house complexes, consists in development the suburbs near the capital area. As a method of study we conducted greenery evaluation from view of Inhabitant by questionnaire survey. We concluded as follows: inhabitants attach importance to the nature around apartment house complex when move into that; inhabitants are satisfied and feel nature about the field; inhabitants tend to take field as a sight; inhabitants need low-rise development for harmony with field.

  • This study extracted and analyzed physical components of street view with external streets at large-scaled apartment house complex of Sangmu Housing Site Development District in Gwangju, examined factors affecting the image of street view and visual perceptional characteristics by image, analyzed relationship between components of street view and visual preferences of image and aimed to provide basic materials needed for making external street view at apartment house complex of high Qualify.

  • 경포호 주변환경은 논, 밭 등의 경작지나 녹지와 같은 투수지표면과 대단위 주택단지나 도로, 상업지구, 공장시설과 같은 불투수지표면으로 구성되어 있어 SWAT 모형의 적용에 적합하다. GIS와 연계된 ArcSWAT모형을 적용하기 위하여 지형자료를 구축하고, 송정배수로 유역의 기상 및 우량 관측소를 고려하여 수문 및 기상관측자료를 입력하였다. 그리고, 소유역으로 세분화한 후 토양특성과 토지이용에 따른 모의를 실시하였고, 이를 위해 소유역내 수문학적 반응단위별로 유출, 유사 및 비점오염발생을 평가하는데 이용되는 HRU를 구축하여 활용하였다. 송정배수로는 제1배수로와 제2배수로로 구성되어있으며, 제2배수로의 유입부에 주변 아파트단지의 하수관에서 직접적으로 오염물질이 유입되어 수질오염이 심각하며, 점원과 비점원오염이 산재해있기 때문에 본 연구에서는 유출 및 수질모의가 가능한 SWAT모형을 이용하여 대상지점의 유출과 수질을 모의하였으며, 그 결과를 바탕으로 수질오염을 저감할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

  • This paper is focused on studying a pedestrian passage that forms exterior space of the housing unit on diverse prerequisites and convenience of residential environment regards to plans for Multi-family Housing Complex. The paper explores the actual usage of a pedestrian passage installed in Multi-family Housing Complex and examine whether the nature-friendly space that includes the exterior pedestrian passage of the housing unit is being applied variously on a pedestrian passage. In order to obtain an analysis of the current status on case study unit, the study has prepared an analyzing tool for the environment in use for the exterior pedestrian passage and was able to construction problematic points by applying the obtained data. Thanks for the analysis, a comprehensive evaluation on the plans for the pedestrian passage was implemented through correlation with a green tract of land, living space and the exterior pedestrian passage installed in Multi-family Housing Complex.

  • This study aims to investigate the urban regeneration policies in Japan especially focusing "New Town" regeneration. New Town projects were launched in major Japanese cities, aiming to form a designed urban housing area and a mass supply of quality housing, in order to solve the lack of housing and urban sprawl which became a serious issue due to the over-concentration of population and industries in the city during the period of rapid economic growth. Tama New Town and Kohoku New Town are well-known development projects in 1970s and 80s; They attract wide attention again as urban regeneration policies focusing on a Smart city as well as Private-Public Partnership.

  • The need for urban-scale energy simulation is increasing as the world is aware of urgency to decrease $CO_2$ emission. As a bridge of building energy simulation and that of urban, this paper presents a case study to examine the effect of changing resolution of a model in case of complex apartment unit. Also it suggests a modeling strategy to correct differences caused by simplification of the model and evaluate the extent of its use.

  • The purpose of this study was to estimate the future demands of elderly housing and to give the basic data for elderly housing. The specific objectives were: 1) to investigate the conciousness of living arragement for elderly; 2) to dientify the needs towards private and group space, entertainment facilities, support facilities, and management methodes. For the objective 1, questionnaires were administered to322 male adults selected from relatively high econoic level in Seoul. For the objective 2, questionnares were interviewed to 30 male adults who lived with their spouses only, selected from 322 respondents. Data from respondents were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, and $X^{2}$-test.
