Analysing the Effect of Parking Information using the Micro Simulation Method (주차정보 제공에 따른 주차대기시간의 효과분석에 관한 연구(미시적 시뮬레이션 방법을 이용하여))

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the effect of the parking information on the waiting time using the simulation method. Stated Preference survey has been implemented to construct the parking lot choice model. A queue simulation is carried out to investigate the effect of various parking information on the waiting time. The results show that providing parking information is likely to increase the utilization of parking place and to decease the waiting time of individual vehicle. Furthermore, as the parking demand increases, the detailed and quantitative parking information such as "5 minutes delay" is more effective than qualitative parking information such as "available".

  • The purpose of this study is to simulate the suitable space of parking lots for Mass traffic instigating facilities in Pusan. After the suitable scale of parking lots estimate using GPSS, one of the Queue Simulation, with the average arriving time and the average parking time at parking lots, the formula is simulated by the Regression model to relate a total floor area and the suitable number of parking lots. The improved criteria or present parking lots is needed to prevent the unnecessary vehicles and improve the efficiency of land use. The suitable scale of parking lots estimate just with the state of using the parking lots in this study. but it is necessary to consider land use, traffic condition, commercial area etc.

  • 본 논문에서는 전기차 시장의 성장 및 수요 증가로 인한 충전 인프라 부족에 대한 문제를 해소하기 위한 방안으로, 센서를 활용한 각 자리별 빈 주차 자리 확인 기능과 전기차 충전 자리의 남은 대기 시간에 대한 정보를 실시간 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 기존의 LED 표시등의 정보를 웹사이트를 통해 시각적으로 전달하며, 실시간으로 주차 여유 공간과 전기차 충전 자리의 대기 시간을 확인할 수 있게 하였다. 더불어 발레 파킹 서비스와의 융합을 통해 충전 완료 후 차량 이동의 불편함 및 인프라 운영의 효율을 늘리는 방안을 제안해본다.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an intelligent parking dispatching system based on LoRa network technology. During the local festival, many tourists come into the festival site simultaneously after sunset. To handle the traffic jam and parking dispatching, many traffic management staffs are engaged in the main road to guide the cars to available parking lots. Nevertheless, the traffic problems are more serious at the peak time of festival. Such parking dispatching problems are complex and real-time traffic information dependent. We used Queuing theory to predict inbound traffics and to measure parking service performance. Q-learning algorithm is used to find fastest routes and dispatch the vehicles efficiently to the available parking lots.

관광지 주차장 이용실태 및 문제점 분석

  • 현재 우리나라의 수많은 관광지에서는 극심한 교통혼잡과 주차난을 겪고 있다. 본 연구는 대포항 교차로와 대포항 주차장의 기하구조 및 이용실태를 조사한 후, 현재 교차로와 주차장 진ㆍ출입로의 기하구조와 주차장 운영현황 및 그 이용실태의 문제점 분석을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 현장에서 실제 조사한 교차로의 도로조건과 주차장의 진ㆍ출입로는 조사된 그림(1. 대포항 교차로, 2. 대포항 주차장 구획도)으로 분석하고 주차자의 운영현황 및 이용실태는 현장조사를 토대로 누적주차대수, 주차회전율, 차량당 평균주차지속시간, 주변도로 혼잡영향 분석 등의 방법을 통해 얻어진 결과로 분석할 것이다. 분석결과, 주차장 인접 교차로에서는 버스정류장과 우회전 차로의 합류, 우회전 차로와 주차장 진ㆍ출입로의 합류 등의 기하구조상의 문제로 직진ㆍ우회전 차량, 주차장 진ㆍ출입 차량의 혼잡을 예상할 수 있었고, 주중에는 13시 51분에, 주말에는 10시55분에 이미 주차장은 포화상태를 보여 최초 대기차량이 발생하였으므로 주차공급이 부족함을 알 수 있었다. 그러나, 관광지라는 특성상 기후나 시기적 영향을 많이 받는다는 점을 감안해야할 것이다. 따라서, 관광지 주차장의 조사는 여러 가지 측면에 더 연구되어질 필요가 있다.

A Study on Improvement of Parking Guidance System to Low-Power Operation for Green Building

  • The parking guidance system can increase driver's convenience with detailed parking information service, but it continuously consumes electrical energy with large amount of sensors, displays and control modules. With the increase of the demand for green and sustainable building design, it becomes a meaningful issue for parking guidance system to reduce operating power. This paper presents the preliminary design and estimated results of a parking guidance system which is optimized to reduce the power consumption mainly on detectors and displays. The system design is based on commercial wireless parking detectors, wireless-loop-detector and earth-magnetic-detector. We have performed system architecture design, communication network design, parking information service scenario planning, battery life regulation and at last operating power estimation. With the 7 years of battery replace cycle, the estimated result for power consumption of designed system was 0.33W/slot, which is 13% of the traditional system's estimation result. The estimated annual maintain cost was similar to the traditional ultrasonic sensor based system's. The low power operable designed system can be expected to reduce CO2 emission.

An Observational Study of Parked Cars' Effect in the Sunshine on the Increase of Air Temperature (자동차 양지주차가 기온상승에 미치는 영향에 관한 관측적 연구)

  • This study investigated the effect of parked cars in the sunshine on the increase of air temperature on a sunny day. Air temperatures were determined both from inside of the parked cars and the top surface of the vehicle at which one car was parked under the sunshine and the other in the shade for the duration of 27 hours. The surface temperatures of asphalt and bare soil were simultaneously measured in both locations, sunshine and shade areas, along with a couple of meteorological factors. The sensible heat fluxes from the surfaces of asphalt, bare soil and two vehicles were estimated by utilizing those observed data. The results are as follows; 1) The surface temperatures of bare soil, asphalt and two vehicles increased with $30{\sim}37^{\circ}C,\;37{\sim}46^{\circ}C\;and\;42{\sim}49^{\circ}C$ respectively during the day. 2) The sensible heat fluxes were noticeably higher from the top surface of the parked vehicle in the sunshine than from the asphalt or bare soil. The differences of sensible heat fluxes between the vehicle's roof and the other two surfaces of asphalt and bare soil were 60 (asphalt) and 85 (bare soil) $W/m^2$ during the daytime.

  • Durability of automotive polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) strongly depends the startup/shutdown procedure. Formation of hydrogen/air boundary in the anode gas channel, so-called reverse current condition, particularly induces fast degradation of the cathode. Under the reverse current condition, high voltage is present at the cathode facing air in the anode gas channel and is a function of residual oxygen concentration in the gas channels, that increases with storage time and reaches 21% (air) eventually. In this study, effects of residual oxygen concentration in a PEMFC on degradation of the PEMFC.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest plans to enhance client satisfaction through improving the quality of hospital administration services. For accomplishing the purpose, we conducted empirical research with classifying hospital administration services into administrative staff service, medical staff service, facility service, and institutional service. Based on the results of this study, suggestions were made as follows for improving the quality of hospital administration services. First, in administrative staff service, detailed explanations should be provided about the items of medical bills, and patients' waiting time should be reduced through fast processing and smooth cooperation among departments. Second, in medical staff service, the process of medical service should be simplified for the accurate observance of appointment schedules, and the time to start outpatient service and the time to complete the discharge process should be earlier than now. Third, in facility service, convenient facilities and resting places should be prepared, parking facilities should be expanded, and menus should be improved for clients. Fourth, in institutional service, detailed medical service costs contents should be disclosed and plans should be made for the efficiency of services.
