IP address lookup is one of the essential functions on internet routers, and it determines overall router performance. The most important evaluation factor for software-based IP address lookup is the number of the worst case memory accesses. Binary prefix tree (BPT) scheme gives small number of worst case memory accesses among previous software-based schemes. However the tree structure of BPT is normally unbalanced. In this paper, we propose weighted binary prefix tree (WBP) scheme which generates nearly balanced tree, through combining the concept of weight to the BPT generation process. The proposed WBPT gives very small number of worst case memory accesses compared to the previous software-based schemes. Moreover the WBPT requires comparably small size of memory which can be fit within L2 cache for about 30,000 prefixes, and it is rather simple for prefix addition and deletion. Hence the proposed WBPT can be used for software-based If address lookup in practical routers.

The referents of internet addresses are no longer limited to web sites. A new address service by the international organization for the internet address (ICANN) introduces an open space for the TLD (Top Level Domain) strings so that each service, content, product, and other linguistic expressions may be allowed. The open TLD addresses are more suitable for representing the address of service units, contents, or products. In this paper, as an alternative to static Internet address service to return a consistent mapping result regardless of a user-specific different requirements, we design a dynamic internet address mapping model that returns mapping result to suit user particular requirements. In addition, we propose a method for implementing a internet address service without any changes in the existing domain protocols. It may implement a dynamic internet address by attaching to a encoded user's metadata and environment data within a internet address representation, and adding the module for dynamic mapping to the name servers. Through this proposal, trying to expand the functions of internet address, it is expected to be able to provide customized informaiton retrieval services for each user by using just internet address.

많은 양의 이미지를 포함하고 있는 대용량 데이터베이스에 대한 이미지 검색에서 보다 짧은 시간에 적은 양의 검색공간을 사용하면서 원하는 결과를 얻을 수 있는 이미지 인덱싱 기법에 대한 다양한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 외형 기반의 이미지 검색에서 기존의 인덱싱 기법보다 빠른 검색을 지원할 수 있는 해시 기반의 새로운 인덱싱 기법을 제안한다. 기존의 해시 기반 인덱싱 기법에서는 해시 주소 계산을 위해 인덱스 값의 범위가 미리 정해져야 하기 때문에 색상 정보 등 소수의 특징 정보를 제외하고는 인덱싱에 널리 사용되지 못하고 있다. 한편, 제안된 해시 구조는 값의 범위가 정해지지 않은 정수형의 인덱스 값을 기반으로 효과적으로 이미지 인덱스를 구축할 수 있다. 효과적인 이미지 검색을 위해 제안된 인덱스를 기반한 범위검색(Range Search) 기법을 제안하였으며, 실험을 통해 제안된 인덱스 구조에서의 범위 검색이 기존의 인덱스 구조에 비해 보다 효과적임을 보인다.

This study analyzed media reports on the Address of Things, which are being introduced through the amendment of related law and pilot projects. The titles and its texts in the media's reports were collected by searching for 'Address of Things' on the Naver News Platform. Then, we analyzed the corpus using by topic modeling and network analysis. As a result, there were four topics: 'Promotion of the address of things system', Proof of assigning Address of Things', 'Improvement of usage of the Roadname Address Systems', and 'Education and public relation for the address activation'. It was confirmed that the topic 'Proof of assigning Address of Things' was the main agenda. We presented some implication by comparing the results with the 「3rd Basic Plan for Address Policy (2018-2022)」 of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.

K사에 근무하는 이모씨는 인터넷을 써핑하다가 우연히 모회사의 신입사원 합격자 명단을 보게되었다. 이명단에는 신입사원들의 이름과 주민등록번호가 나와 있었다. 이씨는 명단에 나와있는 이름중에서 김모씨를 골라 무료로 E-mail계정을 제공하는 W사에 접속한후 인명검색을 했다. 많은 사람들이 이용하는 W사에는 이씨의 예상대로 합격자 명단에서 골랐던 김씨가 가입되어 있었다. 인명검색으로 이씨는 김씨의 아이디를 쉽게 알아낼수 있었다. 문제는 비밀번호 이씨는 주민등록번호를 몇번 조합해서 비밀번호를 입력한뒤 로그인을 시도했지만 에러 메세지가 계속 나타났다. 그러나 문제는 곳 해결되었다. 이씨는 로그인 아래 버튼 [비밀번호를 잊으셨나요?]를 클릭했다. 그러자 이름과 주민등록번호, 비밀번호를 받을 E-mail 주소를 입력하는 란이 나왔다. 이씨는 김씨의 이름과 주민등록번호, 이씨 자신의 E-amil 주소를 입력하였다. 약 5분뒤 이씨는 명단에서 골랐던 김씨의 비밀번호를 자신의 E-mail로 받아 볼수 있었다. 아이디와 비밀번호를 알아낸 이씨는 김씨의 전자우편을 낱낱이 볼수 있었다.

기존에 보안을 위해 개발되어온 취약점 검색도구는 최근 들어 불법침입을 위한 도구로 이용되고 있으며 이제는 웹사이트에서도 쉽게 취약점 검색도구와 악의적인 프로그램들을 구할 수 있게 되었다. 이에 대한 방안으로 현재 침입차단 기능을 가지는 방화벽과 침입탐지 기능을 가지는 침입탐지시스템이 개발되어 왔다. 방화벽은 외부 네트워크와 내부 네트워크 사이에 위치하여 인증된 트래픽만을 허용함으로써 보안을 유지할 수 있으나 사전에 미리 IP 주소나 포트 등을 등록하여 해당 IP 주소와 포트로부터의 접근을 허용하거나 막는 정적인 방법이었다. 또한 침입탐지시스템은 침입탐지에 대한 룰을 내장하여 칩입행동을 실시간으로 탐지하는 기능을 가지지만 그에 대한 대응이 실시간 차단이 아니라 공격자와 관리자에게 경고메일을 보내는 수준이므로 침입탐지 이후에 생기는 불법행동에 대한 커다란 위험이 따른다 본 논문에서는 그에 대한 해절 방안으로 방화벽의 침입차단 기능과 침입탐지시스템의 실시간 침입탐지 기능을 갖춘 실시간 침입탐지 및 차단을 위한 시스템을 제안한다.

본 논문은 IPv6 헤더의 플로우 레이블 필드를 이용한 레이블 포워딩 방법을 제안하고 이 방법을 기반으로 리눅스 운영체제에서 멀티캐스팅 라우팅 레몬과 유니 캐스팅 데몬과 구현하여 레이블 포워딩에 의한 유니 캐스트 및 멀티캐스트 전송을 구현하였다. 레이블을 이용한 포워딩은 라우팅 엔트리를 결정하기 위해 If주소 중 가장 많은 부분이 일치되는 엔트리를 찾는 방법(longest prefix match) 을 기본으로 하는 IP주소정색 방법에 비해, 짧은 레이블 값 전체가 일치하는 엔트리를 찾는 방법 (short label exact match)을 원칙으로 하고있어 상대적으로 빠른 속도로 라우팅 테이블을 검색할 수 있으며, 쉽게 QoS를 제공할 수 있는 구조를 제공한다. 실험을 통해 구현된 레이블 포워딩을 이용한 유니캐스트 및 멀티캐스트 전송이 잘 동작함을 확인하였고, 성능비교 실험을 통해 레이불 포워딩이 일반 IP 검색 포워딩 방법보다 더 좋은 성능을 발휘함을 확인할 수 있다.
