In order to clarify the interspecific variation of Astiphrom jezoense, a morphometric analysis was performed for seven populations using PCA (principle component analysis) and discriminant analysis. As a result of PCA, 25 quantitative characters are grouped into four factors. The characteristics on legs are especially important components both in male and in female. Morphometric analysis indicate that considerable morphological gap is correlated with geographical habitat. Important discriminant characters are MOD (maximum ocellar distance), Fn (first tergite length) in female and MSL (malar space length) in male.

This study is to identify the relationship between cultural physical education class of enjoyment factor, class satisfaction, and exercise continuation behavior. For this purpose, 275 out of 300 copies of survey aimed at students in four universities located in Gyeong-gi province were used. PAWS 18.0 program was used for analysis to present descriptive statistics. Principal component analysis and rotation of Max Berry were used among exploratory factor analysis to check factor extraction and internal consistency. Cronbach's alpha was used for checking reliability. Multiple regression analysis was used to clarify the relationship between enjoyment factor, class satisfaction, and exercise continuation behavior of cultural physical education. These are the following conclusions. First, instructional behavior, grade in physical education, environment, and exercise ability among the enjoyment factors in cultural physical education class have a significant effect on persistence of exercise. Second, instructional behavior and grade in physical education are the factors of class satisfaction and the have a significant effect on persistence of exercise.

This empirical study takes the activation approach for the competitive power of Korean shipping companies in the Korea-China liner routes. Data for this study were collected from Korea/ China/ 3rd flag shipping companies through the 500 questionnaires. The data of 250 respondents were analyzed statistically to verify the hypotheses and to induce Regression Equation which could predicts the influencing level of the determinants to competitive advantage for Korean shipping companies on Korea-China Liner Shipping Routes. Factor Analysis/ Cronbach's Alpha/ Principal Analysis/ Multiple Regression Analysis were used in order to test the hypotheses for the empirical study.

화장품의 개발에서 기계적인 측정결과 뿐만 아니라 소비자가 실제 사용할 때 느껴지는 감성적인 요인의 중요성이 높이 인식되어감에 따라, 관능적인 특성평가의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 그런 관점에서 트원케익에 대한 사용성 테스트의 한 방법으로 기호형 관능평가를 시도하였고, 본 실험에서는 동일한 소비자(28 명)가 9개의 트윈케익을 일정한 시간에 비슷한 화장 조건하에서 사용하여 비교 평가하도록 하여, 평가의 재현성과 신뢰성을 꾀하였다. 평가는 트윈케익의 세부 관능적 특성에 대한 강도 조사와 선호도 조사 및 전체적인 만족도에 대한 것이었다. 수집된 테이터를 주성분분석에 의해 데이터를 분석하였고, 그 결과 크게 커버력 요인과 입자감 요인이라는 2 가지 요인으로 트원케익의 특성을 평가할 수 있음을 알았다. 일반적인 트윈케익의 분류 방법인 촉촉함과 매트함의 경우, 매트함에 있어서는 트원케익의 공통적 속성으로 제품간 차이를 느끼지 못하였고, 촉촉함에 있어서는 트원케익제품간 차이를 약간 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 트윈케익의 관능적 특성별 강도와 선호도의 상관관계를 분석하였고, 그 결과에 따른 트윈케익의 (+)매력품질과 (-)매력품질을 분석하였는데, 선호도가 높은 제품이 되려면 여러 가지 (+)매력품질을 고루 갖추고,(-)매력품질을 적게 가져야 할 것으로 사료된다. 본 실험의 평가자들이 대부분 25∼30 세인 점을 감안하면 이 연령 대에서 선호도가 높은 트윈케익 제품의 특성은 커버력이 있으면서 고운 입자감을 느낄 수 있으며, 너무 촉촉하지도 매트하지도 않은 중간 상태와 자연스러운 화장상태를 유지하는 것으로 나타났다.

We investigate wage differentials in Korea in the manufacturing industry, as well as factors affecting structural change in wage determination for the pre- and post-financial crisis regimes. We use the 1995 and 1999 data from the Survey Report on the Wage Structure (SRWS) from the Ministry of Labor. Principal components regression analysis is used to tackle multicollinearity. We employ factor analysis to reduce a set of variables to a smaller number, which contain observed and latent variables. Our empirical investigation provide evidences for changes in wages structure between 1995 and 1999. In 1995, the job quality factor is the most critical in the determination of wages, while in 1999, the industry attributes factor impacts greatly on the wages.

This study analyzes the impacts of mixed-use development and transportation on housing values in Seoul, Korea. An index measuring the land use mix is proposed using three components of land uses, residence, office, and retail, which are the essential elements for everyday urban life. This index offers a relatively easy way in measuring the level of mixed-use and proves itself useful providing sensible and reliable results in this empirical study. Also surface and underground transportation accessibilities are measured. By covering both surface and underground, a comprehensive view of Seoul's transportation accessibility is provided. Finally, housing value models are constructed with developed variables, i.e. land use mix index and accessibility measures, as well as relevant socio-economic variables. The empirical outcomes verifies that mixed-use development and transportation accessibility positively affect housing values.

This study is a precedent study for deriving transfer function model between growing stock and forest management policies. Its goal is to solve the multicollinearity between forest works inducing growing stock changes through principal component analysis using annual time series data from 1997 to 2008. As the results, the total explanatory power showed 91.4% on the summarized 3 principal components. They were renamed 'good forest management' 'pest & insets management' 'forest fires' for conceptualization on the derived each component.

본 연구는 가전제품의 정보음을 평가할 수 있는 어휘 척도의 개발을 목적으로 행해졌다. 21명의 주부를 대상으로 8개의 주파수혼 정보음을 제시하여 각 정보음에 대해 30개의 형용사 쌍 체크리스트를 이용하여 5점 척도로 평가하게 하였다. 요인분석은 SPSS S/W를 이용하였고 요인추출 방법은 주성분법(principal component method)으로 하였으며 요인추출 갯수는 scree test와 최종요인구조의 심리적 해석에 기초하여 4개로 결정하였으며 해석의 용이성을 위하여 직교회전방법을 적용하였다. 가전제품의 경고음그룹 4개와 종료음그룹 4개로 구성된 주파수혼합 정보음의 적합성평가에 사용된 30개 형용사 쌍의 요인분석 결과, 4가지 요인구조로 가장 잘 설명할 수 있었으며, 첫 번째 요인은 긴박성 요인, 두 번째 요인은 명료성 요인, 세 번째 요인은 역능 요인, 네 번째 요인은 평가 요인으로 나타났다.

The contents of soil organic matter (SOM) and $Al_o+1/2Fe_o$ in soils are important criteria for the classification of new Andisols in Soil Taxonomy system. There are many soil types in Jeju Island with various soil forming environments. This paper was conducted to estimate the contents of soil organic matter and the content of ammonium oxalate extracted Al and Fe ($Al_o+1/2Fe_o$) using various environmental variables and to make soil property maps using a statistical analyses. The soil samples were collected from 321 locations and analyzed to measure the contents of SOM and $Al_o+1/2Fe_o$. It was analyzed the relationships among them and various environmental variables such as temperature, precipitation, net primary product, radiation, evapotranspiration, altitude, soil forming energy, topographic wetness index, elevation, difference surrounded area, and distances from the shore and the peak. We can exclude multi-collinearity among environmental variables with principal component analysis and reduce all the variables to 3 principal components. The contents of SOM and $Al_o+1/2Fe_o$ were estimated by multiple regression models and maps of them were made using the models.

The government announced the Housing Welfare Roadmap (November 2017), to expand the supply of public rental housing by reconstructing aged long-term public rental complexes. Also, remodeling projects for complexes with low business feasibility of reconstruction projects are recognized as an alternative to supplying public rental housing in urban area. This study analyzed influence factors by dividing them into project feasibility, architectural plan, urban & residential environment plan, and legal system groups in order to establish a plan for long-term public rental housing remodeling project. Futhermore, this work conducted the principal component analysis to get the principal component factors among the influence factors of each group, and the weight analysis to calculate weighting of them. In addition, major influence factors were derived by calculating the relative importance score (RIS) of each factor. Lastly this paper validated the major influence factors and applicability of the procedure to select 3 complexes that can be reviewed for remolding project among 33 long-term public rental housing complexes located in Seoul. The results of this study are expected to be useful when establishing a remodeling project plan for long-term public rental housing.
