Effective directional signs for the clear cognition of directions -2-D expression of directional sighs in 3-D spaces (효과적 방향인지를 위한 유도사인에 관한 연구 -3차원 공간에서의 2차원적 방향표식을 중심으로)

  • At public spaces, signs have purposes of communicating their information clearly. Especially directional signs point out the proper route showing our surroundings. The present directional signs which are indicating 3-dimensional direction in a 2-dimensional mode seem to be difficult to understand as we are moving. This study has the purpose of investigating the role of present signs and suggesting visually effective directional signs, in particular arrows. Firstly, this study surveyed the user's attitude on directional signs in case of subway station. The research shows that the present directional signs hardly perform their roles to communicate the directional information, which means the need of newly expressed arrows. In this study we consider a new effective expression on the viewpoint of human cognition mechanism. So it is thought that those trials are helpful to efficient sign system.

  • Opensource LMS Moodle consists of module of various forms and can mount learning materials of various forms. We can mount the number of contents on the Web in Moodle. In doing so, We can configure effective courses for teaching-learning activity. Moodle can reflect course design of a wide variety of teacher using a variety of learning resources and learning activities. The results of operating during 1 semester, all faculty or students were satisfied with course using Moodle. Class in the classroom is interactive systems of teacher and students, but class has one-way system in reality. E-learning can be used to complement this phenomenon. Moodle gives a free and powerful features in designing e-learning courses. In this reserch we made up course applying typical teaching-learning of design and model the process of Glaser. We analyed teaching - learning activity case of Understanding and Application of Information science course of 2010year 1 semester in Seoul national University of Education using LMS Moodle and pursued future expansion plan of Moodle.

  • Coffee houses' key factors to succeed in the market are not only a basic element -the taste of coffees- but also brand image, satisfaction and consumer fidelity that food service industries take into account overall. The goal of this study is to find out the relations among brand image, brand attitude and fidelity. To this end, coffee was selected among other products due to its characteristic that the difference of its quality between brands is not very noticeable. Through an analysis of each coffee house's brand image in this saturated coffee market, the influence of brand image on consumers' preference was found out. In this process, not only a strategy for each coffee house's growth and development but also the relations between brand image, brand attitude and brand fidelity would be researched, resulting in a creation of more systematic strategies.

  • This study was conducted empirically to explore the relationship between transformational and transactional leadership and in-role performance focusing on the mediating effect of motivation, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. To accomplish this, we have thoroughly reviewed the studies and theories related to transformational-transactional leadership and in-role performance. Based on the literature review, I proposed research model and hypothesis and statistically tested. The data for this study was collected via survey. The basic informations involved 159 employees who work for companies in Busan and sourthern Kyunsan province. The results were follows. Transformational and transactional leadership have meaningful influence on in-role performance. The mediating effect of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation between transformational leadership and in-role performance was supported. These results imply that leaders should support the vision of employees as a symbol of success and it could foster the performance.

Effect of Ego-Resilience and Peer Attachment upon Self-Regulation Learning Ability In Early Adolescence: The Mediating Effect of Life Satisfaction (청소년의 자아탄력성과 또래애착이 자기조절학습능력에 미치는 영향: 삶의 만족도의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect which may operate within peer attachment as well as any links which may exist ego-resilience and life satisfaction and self-regulation learning ability in adolescence. The participants in this research consisted of 2,351 middle school students. the main result were as follows: first, each of three ego-resilience and peer attachment had an influence upon life satisfaction and self-regulation learning ability albeit in different ways. second, life satisfaction had a direct influence on self-regulation learning ability. third, the mediating effect of life satisfaction between ego-resilience and peer attachment upon and self-regulation learning ability were significant. finally, the limitation of this study were discussed along with suggestion for further research.

PC용 중소형 S/W개발을 위한 graphic user interface tool kit

  • S/W의 구성은 기능을 실제로 수행하는 계산처리부와 사용자와 정보를 주고받는 User Interface부로 크게 나누어 볼 수 있다. 대부분의 S/W는 그 기능의 충실도와 아울러 편리한 사용법이 잘 어울려야 제역할을 할 수 있다. 따라서 편리한 User Interface를 만드는 일은 훌륭한 기능을 제공하는 것과 마찬가지로 S/W 개발자들이 지향해야 할 목표중 하나라 하겠다. 그러나 편리한 User Interface를 만드는 일은 전체 시스템개발 기간중 상당한 부분을 차지한다. 특히 CAD/CAM관련 S/W와 같이 사용자와 정보를 Graphic으로 주고받는 경우에는 User Interface의 구성이 더욱 더 어려워지며, 개발기간중 User Interace가 차지하는 비중은 더욱 커지게 된다. GUI는 최근들어 상당히 각광을 받고 있는 분야이며, 상당수의 GUI가 개발되어 있고, 이중 Unix용의 X-Window MS-DOS용의 MS-WINDOWS 3.0이 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 Window System들은 매우 다양한 기능을 제공하고 있음에도 불구하고, GUI자체의 덩치가 매우크고, S/W개발자가 익혀야하는 내용이 너무 복잡하여, 중/소형의 S/W개발에 사용하기에는 적합하지 않다. 본 연구에서는 GUI(Graphic User Interface)부분을 계산처리부와 완전분리하여, 범용성있는 개발용 Tool Kit을 구성함으로써 S/W개발자는 계산처리부만을 만들면되는 방안을 제시하고 있다. GS-GUI는 Menu처리부, Mouse/Keyboard입력처리부, Text/Graphic출력처리부로 나뉘어진다. Menu처리부는 Menu File로 주어지는 Menu Tree를 Pop-Up형태로 보여주며 User가 Menu를 선택할 수 있도록하며 선택된 Menu Item에 대한 Action Code를 계산처리부로 넘겨준다. 입력처리부에서는 Mouse와 Keyboard 어느것으로나 입력이 가능하도록 해준다. 출력처리부에서는 Action Code에 따라 계산처리부에서 계산된 결과를 화면에 보여주기 위한 각종 2D/3D Graphic Routine들이 포함되어있어 계산처리부에서 불러쓰도록 되어있다.

  • With Various signs are installed at roadside to display the message which rather confuse the drivers. The technologies using advanced lighting system and LED have improved the visibility at nighttime but the problems with plural signs have yet to be resolved. In order to solve this problem, LED and the prismatic variable message sign have been applied. But, they have been provided limited information by the display limit. This research conducted to study patent and technical trend of the existing variable message signs to understand the present technology. And, we suggested next generation display to improve providing information. Therefore, we conducted to compare the LED and the OLED by technical and economical literature review. Also, this research conducted test of luminance contrast about the LED and the OLED display in order to understand the possibility of replacing road signs.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop New-IT internship and to search for the way to reduce quality mismatch and unemployment ratio and to ultimately enhance its effectiveness of university-industry collaboration(UIC) in the field of information technology in Korea. To achieve the goal of this study, we tried to come up with more job creation than working on educational collaboration between university and industry. The survey based on the reaction of companies and interns participating in IT internship program promoted by MKE(Ministry of Knowledge and Economy) shows that intern experience helped them to get jobs and longer intern period gave them to find job more easily. Intern companies preferred to local college students majoring in special technology area related to regional innovation industry cluster. It also found that intern companies wanted to hire interns who had some project experiences and theoretical knowledges. IT Internship program affected students good images about small and medium enterprises(SME) after finishing internship.

An Analysis of Factors Affecting the Variation of GDP Gap by a Decomposition Method (GDP갭 분해기법을 이용한 변동요인 분석)

  • The GDP gap (also called the output gap) is the difference between potential GDP and actual GDP. Potential GDP is the maximum sustainable output that is achieved when the resources (labor and capital) are used to capacity. Central banks pursuing price and employment stability consider the output gap as an informative variable for monetary policy since the output gap could be regarded as a proxy of demand-supply imbalances. In this paper, the GDP gap of Korea is decomposed following the filtering method in the previous research, and major factors that affect the variation of GDP gap are investigated based on the decomposed series. The analysis results by the Super Smoother algorithm used in Fox et al. (2003)and Fox and Zurlinden (2006) are found consistent with theory. Much of the variation of nominal GDP gap is explained by Total Factor Productivity(TFP) gap, which is the change of productivity due to recent technological innovation and environmental change. It is also found that variation of terms of trade significantly affects the GDP gap of Korea due to its high dependency on international trade; however, the effect of the domestic price is not negligible like other countries.

Analyzing the Type of Recognition for College Students' Department Jumpers

  • In this study, Q methodology was applied to investigate the subjective evaluation of department jumpers and characteristics of each type of recognition for college students. As a result of analyzing, they were classified into three types. Type 1 was recognized that the department jumper plays a role of giving a sense of belonging to the department and promoting the department. In addition, it was analyzed that wearing a department jumper would be cautious, but the activities were comfortable and people around me gave good evaluations and thought it had the effect of enhancing my confidence. In the case of type 2, the department jumper was satisfied because it was an easy-to-work and non-fashionable design, and was always worn when going to university. Type 3 was a type that gives a sense of belonging when wearing the department jumper, and that it was good for the department jumper to follow the fashion. It is thought that a department jumper with a good fit should be developed by reflecting the physical characteristics, showing the image or symbolism, so that the department jumper of college students can function as a uniform.
