Development of Risk Assessment Index in Special Management Target Facilities According to the Fire Occurrence Factors (화재발생 요인에 따른 특정관리대상시설등의 위험도 평가 지수의 분석 및 개발)

  • The range of special management target facilities is seperated by the building sector and the field of civil engineering. In the present study, the risk analysis was performed, related to fire occurred for the last five years, in the field of residential and non-residential facilities in buildings. Most of fire incidents occurred in residential and non-residential facilities was the cause of the electrical, and the resulting casualties were also very high. Therefore, based on the results, the risk evaluation index was developed, identifying the causes of fire occur and doing the fire vulnerability analysis for each facility. The result of this study can be utilized safety management to these facilities for the future, especially, inducing a more specialized and intensive safety management.

  • This study is about the case study on the application of modular system to the superstructure of floating architecture in Europe. There are many restraints in the onsite construction of floating architecture. Then, various industrialized construction methods are needed to reduce the portion of the onsite construction in floating architecture. Among the various industrialized construction methods, the modular system can be more suitable for floating architecture. At this background, this study analysed the European cases of the application of modular system and classified the types of applied modular system. As a result, this study could classify the three types of modular system, such as, building unit modular, space unit modular and planning concept modular, and define the characteristics of three types by comparing with each other.

  • This study aims to show the growing popularity in the use of wood in new residential construction and improvements to existing housing throughout Asia. Residents want wood in their house and we also have the problem to reduce carbon dioxide which we can solve by using wood. If well implemented in construction, we can expect Kyoto protocol reduce the average global temperature by 0.02$^{\circ}$C or even up to 0.28$^{\circ}$C by the year 2050. A survey of Korean and Japanese people was conducted targeting unique preferences that may exist between these two Nations. Initial findings showed that residents preferred wood in their homes and reductions in carbon dioxide was also a factor. It is important for architects and those interested in using wood to understand that there are many advantages to using wood materials for construction. From this point of view using wood to can produce appreciable effects such as cutting house maintenance costs, creating a natural home design, and building in a manner that is friendlier on the environment.

A Study on the Effect and Improvement Directions of KGBCC based on the Comparison of Green Residents Satisfaction (친환경 주거단지의 거주자 만족도 비교를 통한 친환경 건축물 인증제도 효과 및 개선방향 연구)

  • The KGBCC(Korean Green Building Certification Criteria), which is the assessment standard of green buildings, is not enough to reflect all the current demands of residents. Therefore, the comparative analysis between the certification score and the residents' satisfaction of a promotional green apartment, a awarded green apartment, and a certified green building apartment was carried out to derive improvements of the KGBCC. The residents of selected three apartments were surveyed through the assessment items of the KGBCC. According to the research, the certified green building apartment shows the highest certification score and residents' satisfaction overall, compared with other two apartments. Finally, the improvements of KGBCC were determined through the reason of the residents' dissatisfaction. The KGBCC that is improved by this study can be used for the new assessment standard of green buildings.

  • The proportion of buildings over 30 years old in Korea has increased, from 29.0% in 2005 to 37.8% in 2019. These old buildings were built during a time in which there was a lack of building-related safety standards in areas such as fire safety performance. Worse, during their years of use, many such old buildings have had illegal changes and extensions made, making them more vulnerable in terms of safety. Fire safety investigations are being conducted to prevent large-scale disasters in multi-use buildings, but no investigation has been conducted at the regional district level, where small-scale old buildings are concentrated. Therefore, to identify fire risk factors in the old building district where old buildings are concentrated, the composition characteristics of the buildings were first analyzed. To examine the spatial characteristics of old building districts in order to derive fire risk factors, the results of this analysis based on the structure, use, roof type, and year of approval for use are as follows. It was found through our analysis that as of the date of approval for the use of the building, the main structure of the building has the greatest impact.

  • The construction wastes have been enormously increased after 90's, but construction wastes have depended on reclamation, therefore the environmental disruption and contamination are getting in the hot issue of society and in controversy with residents. With the consequence that indicates a substitute about an application of construction waste units is the most important thing for studying construction wates of quantity when the construction units are demolished. Nowadays, the area under the housing environment amelioration policies is getting rapidly old, then it is beyond anticipating reconstruction. Likewise, it is common when the process of construction wastes make progress to investigate uneconomically in point of facts, therefore to derive economical effects using construction wastes units should be urgent as soon as possible. In conclusion, the purpose of this study offers the variety of construction wastes and process of treatments, comparison of which the construction is demolished and economical effects of application of construction units.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the meanings of water and water spaces in the Western architecture. The meaning of water is investigated by means of mythology and literature studies. It is found that water has ambivalent meanings, i.e. life and death, creation and destruction, chastity and sensuality. The meanings of water spaces in the Western architecture are dramatic, secret and dynamic, and represent publicity, verticality, formality in addition to desire for authority and realization(embodiment) of paradise. Water space is an essential component of beautiful and dynamic spaces and is used to revitalize dreary spaces.

  • Recently the city construction and the concrete structures are more becoming extra weight and the efficient use of the space by the population intensively and follow in industrial intensive commerce and the residence commerce composition building which leads the high story of the building. Consequently the high rise of the building which space applies efficiently in objective which will increase continuously. Also with high rise of buildings durability it will be able to increase the life of the structure is emphasized and the concrete structure is demanding the more high strength.

  • 파주시는 헤이리 예술인마을과 대규모 출판단지인 파주출판도시를 성공적으로 조성하여 세계적인 명성을 얻고 있는 건축 도시이다. 특히 "국내 건축의 흐름을 보려면 파주를 가보라"는 말이 나올 정도로, 파주는 우수한 건축물을 양산하는 지역이 되고 있다. 헤이리 예술인마을은 "예술인들이 꿈꾸는 지상에서 가장 아름다운 마을"을 기치로 하여 15만평의 부지에 주거와 미술관, 박물관, 공연장들이 어우러진 자연친화적인 마을이며, 파주출판도시는 "인간성 회복을 위한 공간의 창조" 라는 주제로 출판과 건축의 만남을 시도한 실험적이고 창조적인 출판 공동체이다. 이 두 커뮤니티는 건축이 중심이 되어 파주시의 도시 브랜드 가치를 높였으며, 또한 문화 아이콘으로서의 파주시를 전국적으로 널리 홍보하는 효과를 가져왔다. 이 두 커뮤니티를 관광하기 위하여 연중 많은 외지의 관광객들과 여행객들이 방문을 하고 있으며, 건축적인 가치가 실질적인 경제적 효과를 발생시킨다는 사실을 우리에게 보여주고 있다. 본지는 건축도시로서의 파주시의 시정을 이끌고 있는 이인재 파주시장을 만나 도시발전을 위한 계획과 건축행정 등에 대한 이야기를 들어보았다.

Study on the Standardization of customer premises facilities (구내통신선로설비 표준화 연구)

  • 국간망과 가입자망의 초고속화가 이루어지더라도 구내망이 이를 뒷받침하지 않으면 초고속망 서비스의 제공은 이루어질 수 없다. 따라서 구내망의 구내통신선로설비는 구내의 인프라 구축에 매우 중요한 시설물이다. 이를 위해 국내에서는 초고속정보통신의 활성화를 위하여 1999년부터 초고속정보통신건물인증제도를 시행하고 있으며, 2004년1월1일부터는 공동주택의 특등급을 신설하여 세대내 광케이블이 시설되도록 요구하고 있다. 또한 국내의 구내통신선로설비에 대한 표준화는 한국통신기술협회에서 추진하고 있으며 현재까지 25개의 표준이 개발되었다. 주거용 건축물에 대한 표준을 2003년 12월에 개정하였으며 현재는 업무용 건축물에 대한 표준화 개정 연구를 진행하고 있다. 미국의 경우는 TIA를 통하여 자국내의 표준화 연구를 활발히 하고 있으며 이에 대한 내용을 근거로 국제표준화 연구를 진행하는 ISO에 제안하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 구내통신에 대하여 국제표준화와 미국을 중심으로 최근 표준화 동향에 대하여 조사 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 국내에서 제정하려고 하는 기술표준에 기여하고, 초고속정보통신건물인증제도와 국내 기술기준을 비교 분석을 통한 기술기준 개정방향을 기술하고자 한다.
