공공용 세면대의 적정 높이 기준에 대한 실험연구 (A Laboratory Study on the suitable standard height for the lavatory in public spaces)

  • The purpose of this study was to find a suitable standard height of the lavatory in public spaces through the review of relevant regulations, questionnaire survey, lab works, and experiment to measure lavatory heights. The results of the study were as follows: First, the heights of the current public lavatory were ranged from 68cm to 89cm, and the heights to the faucet were from 71cm to 91cm. The recent lavatory was more likely to be higher in heights. Secondly, the suitable height for public lavatory was ranged from 55% to 65% of the heights of the participants put on shoes. Thirdly, 90cm lavatory in height was considered to be more suitable to use for the majority than was 83cm lavatory. Fourth, the author suggest that the suitable y(lavatory height)=77.818 + 0.117x(put on shoes heights). This study suggested that adopting 95% range, the most suitable height of public lavatory is more than 90cm high for the people whose heights are more than 150cm.

  • This study is under doing to suggest application manual using assembling reference plane design & standard finish material basis upon material classification code as a tool of a linkage between building design and construction standarization in order to enlarge the applicability of house building material that is produced by the module plant. We can say the goal of building standardization intend not only the improvement of construction productibility but also guarantee of subsequent performance through automatization basis upon informationalization of building design. For a etabilishing of this condition, it is neccessary to link the standardization's result of material--design--construction field. According to this neccessity, we are going to suggest information factor that can make relative business manager easily approach to the standardization practical task.

침실분리 연령기준에 대한 청소년 자녀와 어머니의 의견차이 (Adolescents' and their mother's responses to the age standard not to share bedrooms among family members)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out adolescents' and their mothers' responses to the minimum standard of age suggested by previous research not to share bedroom among parents and child, children of the opposite sex, or children of the same sex. The data from 310 pairs of junior school students and their mothers were analyzed. The results showed that the percentages of agreements to the suggested ages were not the same. Adolescents were in general more likely flexible to the minimum age than were their mothers. The age standard of the opposite sex children over 10 years old must not share a bedroom was the most agreeable both to child and mother. Both mother and adolescents' children were more likely flexible to the rule that parents should not should not share a bedroom with a child over age 5. However, they were serious about sharing a bedroom between same sex children regardless age. Further research should reveal precisely the age standard represent the high agreement among the family members.

  • Recently, with the increase of income level, many people desire to have agreeable and quiet surrounding. However, construction noise has caused much annoyance for a number of dwellers and workers in nearby construction field. It has become a very serious issue in our living environment. For the accurate evaluation of construction noise with various frequency spectrums and fluctuation characteristics, the evaluation system should reflect not only physical quantities but also the psychological respects of individual persons. With preceding study of psycho-acoustical experiments, this study attempts to survey the classification of adjectives and sound using the method of selected description and intends to get the basic data for establishment of a standard about construction noise.

  • Precast Concrete apartments were main stream of domestic industrialized housing around 90's , and Steel Houses applying Steel Stud technique with light weighted steel have been dominant portion since 1995. On the other hand, various building techniques including Steel Stud method and highly prefabricated and industrialized Unit method are prevailing in developed countries like Japan. Steel stud and Unit Box have their own merits an demerits, but the more crucial aspect is that the constant design standard should be applied in each design procedure. It entails the necessity of industrial housing development on the Open System basis. In this study, the design standard for Unit house will be established coping with the established preparing standard for design specifications defined by Architectural Law and Promotion Law of Housing Construction. That is for design standard of industrialized private housing on the Open System basis.

코넬대학교 캠퍼스 주택" Maplewood Park"의 이용후 평가 (A Post-Occupancy Evaluation of Maplewood Park : Cornell University's Campus Housing)

  • 본 연구의 대상지는 미국 뉴욕(New York)주 이타카(Ithaca)시에 있는 코넬대학교 (Cornell University)의 미혼자와 기혼자 대학원생 및 그 가족을 위한 캠퍼스 주택인 Maplewood Park이다. 연구자인 동시에 디자이 너의 입장에서 필자는 다음의 4가지 방법을 가지고 이 Maplewood Park에 대한 이용후 평가(post-occupancy evaluation)를 실시하였다: 1)물리적 흔 적 관찰(observing physical traces), 2)행태 관찰(observing physical traces), 3)면담(interviews), 4)설문지(questionnaires). 본 연구는 주거 환경 의 옥외공간이 가지고 있는 물리적 특징과 성질에 초점을 맞추었다. 본 연 구는 행태 자료 수집에서부터 완성된 주택단지의 개선을 위한 디자인 제안 까지의 전 과정을 보여주며 주거 환경의 실제 이용자인 주택 단지 거주자 로부터 획득한 체계적이고 객관적인 행태와 태도에 관한 자료에 근거하여, 장래에 있을 유사한 주택 단지 건설을 위한 디자인 기준을 제시하고자 한다.

  • The fire in Ulsan in 2020 was a 33-story residential and commercial complex with about 90 injuries and more than 10 billion won in property damage, and considering the recent increase in high-rise residential and commercial complexes, the risk of similar fires is high. As can be seen through the residential and commercial complex fire case in Ulsan, life-based fire safety standards need to be established to minimize casualties. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to draw improvements for the development of human safety standards for high-rise residential facilities in the future through comparison with the Korean Building Act, Firefighting-rellated Acts and the U.S. NFPA 101.

  • 본 연구에서는 건축 구조물 용도에 따라 구조물의 직접적인 손상을 방지하기 위하여 규제하는 기준치, 인간의 감각 통하여 느껴지는 진동으로 안락한 주거 환경 또는 작업 환경을 유지하기 위한 규제치, 구조조물에 설치된 장비, 특히 반도체, 통신장비등과 같이 정밀장비의 경우 구조물에서 발생되는 진동으로부터 장비의 성능을 유지시켜주기 위한 기준 등을 확인하여 건물 용도에 최적의 진동 허용 규제치를 제안하며 기준에 따른 초기설계단계에서 최적저감대책을 수립하고자 함이다.
