A Study of Differences in Mindfulness and Psychological Well-being of Art Psychotherapists according to their Demographic Characteristics (예술심리치료사의 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 마음챙김과 심리적 웰빙의 차이검증)

  • This study examined the difference between mindfulness and psychological well-being of art psychotherapists according to their demographic characteristics. The subjects were 127 art psychotherapists working at counseling centers in Ulsan metropolitan city. Statistical software R was used for frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, independent-sample T-test, and one-way ANOVA. A Scheffe test was used for post hoc analysis. The results showed that the difference in mindfulness of art psychotherapists was significant in age and at peer supervision and case study meanings in supervision type only. Second, the difference in the psychological well-being of art psychotherapists was significant at peer supervision and case study meetings in supervision type only. This means that the more art psychotherapists experience peer supervision and case conferences, the more they perceive mindfulness and psychological well-being. These results suggest that age and supervision type are important for the art psychotherapists' mindfulness and psychological well-being. Therefore, to improve artistic psychotherapists' mindfulness and psychological well-being, it is necessary to systematically develop and operate support programs for each developmental stage to improve artistic psychotherapists' demographic characteristics and professional development.

A Study on the Effect of Integrative Art Therapy on Cognitive Function and Depression in Elderly People with Early Dementia (통합예술치료가 초기치매노인의 인지기능과 우울에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to objectively examine the effects of integrated art therapy on cognitive function and depression in the early dementia elderly, and to identify and discuss the process of change in the early dementia elderly through a comprehensive analysis through behavior change observation diary. As a research method, a mixed study was designed using in-depth analysis through qualitative studies as well as quantitative studies on the effect of integrated art therapy on cognitive function and depression in the elderly with early dementia. The quantitative study conducted a pre-post examination of 20 elderly people with early dementia using the day care center in P-gu, Suwon, and the qualitative study analyzed the behavioral change observation diary of 10 elderly people with early dementia. These findings show that first, integrated art therapy had a significant effect on the cognitive function of the elderly with early dementia (p<.001, t=-5.871). Second, integrated art therapy had a significant effect on the depression of the elderly with early dementia (p<.001, t=5.325). Third, the integrated art therapy program changed to a positive attitude before and after cognitive function and depression of the elderly with early dementia. By revealing the effect of integrated art therapy on cognitive function and depression of the elderly with early dementia through the results of this study, it is meaningful as basic data for research related to the elderly with early dementia as well as providing effective information on integrated art therapy programs related to the elderly with early dementia.

  • 농사기술은 어느 한 가지 기술로 성공농사를 좌우하지 않는다. 종합예술처럼 종합기술로 이루어진다. 우리나라에는 농업전문가는 수도 없이 많다. 이 전문가들은 어느 한 분야에서 상당히 조예가 있고 정확한, 말 그대로 전문가이다. 하지만 이 분들은 논리 분야는 잘 모르는 것(?)같고 잘 모르는 것처럼 하는 것이 기본 예의이기도 하다. 즉 수직적 기능의 전문가인 반면에 수평적 기능은 약하다. 이에 비해 본인은 40년의 실전경험을 통해 전문성은 다소 떨어져도 수평적 기능에는 강하다. 그러나 농업현장에서 체득한 기술적인 경험을 전문가에 알리면 보편적으로 잘 안 받아드리는 배타적인 것이 우리의 현실이다. 그래서 의외로 수평적 기능을 가진 사람이 드물다. 어느 한 분야에서 전문가가 아닌 본인은 앞으로의 설명내용 중에 오류도 있을 테곡 논란의 여지도 있을 것이다. 하지만 '꿩 잡는 것'이 매이다. 본인은 농사실전에 막강하다. 앞으로 농사 실전에 진수, 유씨엠티농법으로 무장하고 최상의 농사를 시작하자!

The Influence of the Appearance of 'Robot Actor' on the Features of the Theater ('로봇배우'의 등장이 연극의 특성에 미치는 영향)

  • The positive effects of 'robot actor' born in the age of artificial intelligence on the characteristics of theater (comprehensive, liveness, duality, planning) is due to the collaboration with 'robot' engineers, which increases the comprehensive. It is possible to respond to it, so that various reaction are maintained in every performance, and enhanced illusion can be provided in 'robot' material works in which 'robot actor' plays the role of 'robot'. However, the power focused on the director can reduce the comprehensiceness, the synthesis is reduced, and the 'robot actor' cannot perform the sweat or breath of 'human actor'. In itself, duality is incomplete. In addition, there is a high risk that the improvisation within the scope of planning is likely to occur as a sudden reaction, which may limit the postponement of the 'human actor'. Based on these findings, 'philosophy', 'science' and 'art' can predict the development of artificial intelligence side by side. It is considered necessary to study to redefine the direction and identity of arts and theater that should be moved forward.

A Study on Placeness of Gwangju Art Street Looked through Experience of Life Subjects (생활주체의 경험을 통해 본 광주 예술의 거리 장소성 연구)

  • This study aims to analyze the placeness of Gwangju Art Street and the changing process of the street, looked through the experiences of life subjects living in this street. For this purpose, at first, history before art street was designated was traced by reviewing geographical characteristics and spatial transformation of the Art Street with the trend of Gwangju art scene and economic political situation. And then, in order to analyze the placeness of Gwangju Art Street, formation factors of placeness are extracted into physical element, behavior element and semantic element. Physical element and behavior element were analyzed through in-depth interview and data analysis for individual and microscopic historical process of life subjects being experienced in the street that is contrary to policy and plan. Finally, a semantic element was identified through questionnaire as to how people recognize current art street through a history being experienced as a venue of conflict of meaning. It is implied that bottom up place making policies that may connect context of the formation of placeness with the viewpoint of life subject in the Art Street is required to be presented now.

  • SPA means a speleological-photo-artist who possess speleological knowledge and abilities. To be a SPA, it is necessary to combine the parts of speleology, photography and fine arts. The relative difficulty is depend on the major subject which start from speleology, photography, and fine arts. It is more easy to be a SPA come from speleology, than come from the other parts. After learning basic knowledge about speleology, photography and fine arts and then it is advisable to looking for the way to be a photo-artist in the present system. If the SPA take charge of education, it is very useful for the students.

  • The interactive cinema is based on the interactivity between the cinema and the audience. The discussion of interactive cinema can be divided into two poles. One is to positively look at the possibilities of interactive cinema as a new format and to test with them in various ways. The other is the perspective of a critical warning that the interactivity of interactive cinema risks reinforcing biases while instilling the illusion of freedom and activity in the audience. Considering both of these perspectives, we try to find a way to realize the political and aesthetic possibilities of interactive cinema through characteristic analysis. To this end, we analyzed the interactive film , which has received public and critical attention, based on Brecht's epic theater as a theoretical and practical reference. We analyzed the text/contextual characteristics of this work in three dimensions - an interactive multi-branching structure, a self-reflecting Mise en abyme structure, and an active enjoyment of the audience - and compared them with the epic theater theory. Through this, we examined the conditions and possibilities of interactive cinema as a new epic theater in the new technological/media environment of the 21st century.

  • This study aims not only to address environmental issues caused by indiscriminate fashion consumption, specifically in the context of Fast Fashion but also to find an alternative and a sustainable solution that is 'Upcycling' using the 3D clothing simulation program Z-weave. Upcycling products have limitations in that it is difficult to produce samples since finished products must be produced directly with limited materials and resources like waste clothes. To overcome these limitations, a 3D clothing simulation program is introduced to effectively utilize the limited resources of waste clothing. The purpose of this study is to confirm the similarity between a virtual fabric created through Z-weave and a real fabric, through this, to evaluate the possibility of application in the actual fashion industry. As a research method, surveys and interviews were conducted with related majors on virtual clothing created as similar as possible to actual clothing by adjusting the physical properties within the Z-weave program. This study attempted to describe the impact of digital technology on the fashion industry and how 3D clothing simulation programs can be used in sustainable fashion production.

  • The article concerns the public policy for the development of the arts educator in the field of the comic and animation education. The comic and animation education programs are focused on the promotion of the creativity and communication skills of the student in terms of the arts education. The article seeks to examine the case on the support program for the comic and animation educators, which has been managed by Korea Arts & Culture Education Service(KACES) since 2005. The forty two educators were surveyed. As a result, the support program of the KACES has an effect on the educator's recognition of the comic and animation education in the positive way. The most of the educators suggest that the support program should try to develop the comic and animation educator job as a special work with the full time job. In this repect, the article recommend the policy alternatives such as the promotion of the education program R & D, the knowledge and information system, training system and the establishment of the governance system.

  • Sound Art (Sonic Art) is a branch of contemporary art that has been practiced dominantly in Europe and the Americas since the mid-20th century; and in Korea, it tends to be regarded as a multiple art field or as a subgenre of contemporary music or media art. Since the 2000s, some leading universities in North America and Europe have been opened sound art majors, producing talented people who specialize in this field or work as practical artists, yet it is still considered a non-mainstream art field. It is difficult to find schools that have opened sound arts as their major program in domestic universities. Along with the introduction of a liberal arts curriculum model and teaching methods used in the <Sound Art of Modern Society> course operated in a four-year university in South Korea, this paper discusses the possibility of using sound art as a main subject in liberal arts learning in higher education as a creative fusion liberal arts subject.
