As Korea has been an aging society since the 21st century, more welfare facilities are needed in various fields to promote the quality of life for the old. Accordingly, this study is going to work on what other thing will be needed in community for the aging, focused on a senior welfare center. As a result, architectural planning factors of a senior welfare center, designed with the consideration of the special quality of the region, will be presented. and applied as a grounding source for the purpose of this study, $\ulcorner$Building the Community in which the old live with satisfaction and worth of life$\lrcorner$.

At the moment many welfare complexes are being constructed in Korea as the welfare demand of contemporary society increases. However, there are a few useful guidelines for the planning of the welfare complexes. So it is not easy for the local governments to work out the proper plan for the construction of welfare complexes for their own. This study has been started in order to provide basic informations for the planning of Korean welfare complexes. The result of this study can be summarized into two points. The first one is that 8 welfare services (elderly, women, children, nursery, adolescence, handicapped, health care, public support) are necessary in general welfare complexes in local governments. The second one is that 4 welfare zones are desirable for the planning of welfare complexes. For example, the 1st zone is consist of welfare services for the adolescence, women and children, the 2nd zone for the elderly, handicapped, the 3rd zone for the public support and the 4th zone for the health care.

본 연구의 목적은 다양한 사회복지 실천현장에서 활용가능하고 신뢰도와 타당도가 검증된 Client Satisfaction Inventory(CSI)를 국내의 사회복지실천 현장에 적용할 수 있는지를 평가하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 서울 경기지역의 종합사회복지관 6곳을 이용하는 259명의 사회복지서비스 이용자를 대상으로 한국어판 CSI(CSI-K)를 평가하였다. 문항분석을 통해 5개 문항이 부적절한 문항으로 나타나 이들 문항을 제외한 다음 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 분석한 결과 CSI-K는 2개 요인(서비스 공급자에 대한 만족과 서비스 결과에 대한 만족)으로 구성된 척도로 나타났으며 각 요인의 내적일관성 신뢰도는 .964와 .885로 매우 높았다. 타당도 평가에서도 CSI-K는 이론적으로 관련된 변인들과 통계적으로 유의미한 정적인 상관관계를 보였으며 인구사회학적 변인의 영향을 받지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 후속연구를 통해 CSI-K가 우리나라 실천상황에 더욱 적합한 도구로 개발되길 기대한다.
