The representative design elements of the road geometric structure are longitudinal slope, horizontal curve radius, super elevation, and transition curve. According to the function of a road, the design standards of these elements is applied by diverse combinations of them. This study divided expressway into homogeneous segments based on longitudinal slope and horizontal curve radius. And then, data required for analysis were matched to each segment, and the safety performance function was built by using the established data. crash modification factors which can explain traffic accident exposure rate were calculated. When the threshold value of horizontal curve radius R=1,000 m was set to 1.0, the crash modification factors at R=300 m was calculated as 1.33, which means that the accident exposure rate is increased by 33%. When the threshold value of the longitudinal slope 0% was set to 1.0, the crash modification factors demonstrated that the accident exposure rate decreases on the upward slope and the accident exposure rate increases on the downward slope. The results of this study can be used as basic information in the design of expressway geometries during the improvement or the construction of expressways.

The purpose of this research is to examine the reciprocal relationships between depression and marital satisfaction among older couples. For longitudinal dyadic analysis, this study sets up a research model based on the Actor-Partner Interdependence Model, the Common Fate Model, and Autoregressive Cross-Lagged Model. Data came from four annual waves from the 10th year (2015) to the 13th year (2018) of the Korean Welfare Panel Survey and the final sample comprised a total of 1,383 married couples over 60 years of age in 2015. Structural Equation Modeling identified the reciprocal relationship between depression and marital satisfaction among older couples, with higher marital satisfaction of older couples leading to lower depression of husbands' and wives', and with higher depression of husbands' and wives' inducing lower marital satisfaction of the couples. Thus, this study suggested that longitudinal interplay between depression and marital satisfaction can lead to a vicious cycle. Based on these findings, the need to intervene at both the individual level and the couple level was discussed in order to reduce depression and improve marital satisfaction.

This paper discussed the Multi-PAM inverter for static power supply design. The controller part composed of one-chip microcomputer obtained control pattern simply. The configuration of termination part was composed of double bridge inverter and three-phase, three-winding transformer. The output waveforms using a controller and transformers synthesized the multi-PAM wave form by a voltage level of 22 steps per one-cycle. The output waveforms using the Low Pass Filter approximated to the sine wave.

We propose a structure for implementation to provide ABR service in ATM-LAN consisting of ATM routers and ATM switches. ATM routers are constructed by installing ATM interface block with ABR capability for this purpose. The structure for EFCI, the basic function in ATM switches to support ABR service, is also proposed. Finally the testing procedure after implementation is provided to verify the conformity of the implemented systems.

오버레이 멀티캐스트는 네트워크 구조의 변경 없이 단지 종단 노드가 자신이 받은 패킷을 자신의 다음 노드에게 전달해주는 방법을 이용하여 멀티캐스트를 사용할 수 있는 기법이다. 본 연구에서는 실시간 멀티미디어 서비스를 위하여 트리를 구성할 때 오고가는 메시지 오버헤드를 줄이고 사용자들의 대기를 최소화 하기위한 빠른 조인과정을 고려한 오버레이 멀티캐스트 구성 알고리즘을 제안한다.

오버레이 멀티캐스트는 IP 멀티캐스트와 달리 네트워크의 구조 변경 없이 종단 호스트가 자신이 받은 패킷을 다음 호스트에게 전달해 주는 방법을 사용한 어플리케이션 소프트웨어의 설치만으로 멀티캐스트를 제공받을 수 있는 기법이다. 오버레이 멀티캐스트는 일반적으로 delay에 민감하므로 효율적인 네트워크를 구성하기 위해서는 전체적인 지연시간을 감소시킬 수 있는 방안이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 오버레이 네트워크에서 새로운 노드가 연결될 때 전체적인 지연시간을 감소시킬 수 있는 트리구성 방안에 대해서 제안하고자 한다.

최근 영상회의 시스템과 관련하여 해결해야 할 문제 중 데이터 전송시 발생하는 지연에 관한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 영상회의 구성을 설명하고 영상회의 시 발생하는 전송 지연을 최소화 방법에 대해서 논한다. 전송 지연을 최소화하기 위해서 근원적으로 오디오와 비디오 데이터를 분리 시켜 전송하므로 전송 시 발생하는 지연을 최소화 시켰다. 또한 이를 효과적으로 지원할 수 있는 동시화 알고리즘을 제안하고, 이 알고리즘을 기반으로 영상회의 시스템을 설계하였다.

본 논문은 MPLS 망과 MPOA 망을 ATM을 이용하여 심리스 연결이 가능한 연동 방안을 제시한다. MPOA의 Shortcut VC와 MPLS의 레이블을 이용한 LSP가 IP 룩업 지연을 최소화하고 심리스 연결을 가능하게 하였지만, 이들을 연동하기 위해서는 연동 노드의 IP 룩업이 필요하므로 종단간의 심리스 연결을 위한 연동 방안이 필요하다. MPLS 망과 MPOA 망의 심리스 연동을 위해 치들의 연동 기능을 이용한 연동 방안과 함께 MPLS의 레이블 값과 ATM VC의 VPI/VCI를 이용하여 LIB에 연동기능을 구성한 심리스 연동 방안들을 제시하고 비교 분석한다.

IP 멀티캐스트 기술은 지난 10여년동안 꾸준히 발전해 왔지만 라우터의 편재형 배치(Ubiquitous deployment)가 되지 않음으로 인해 네트워크 라우터가 패킷을 복사, 전달함으로서 종단 호스트와 네트워크 라우터 간에 부가적인 제어와 라우팅 프로토콜이 필요하게 되는 단점이 있다. 이에 대한 대안으로 현재 오버레이 네트워크를 이용한 애플리케이션 레벨 멀티캐스트가 많이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 P2P 오버레이 네트워크를 이용해 확장 (scalability)이 있고 참여지연(Join delay)이 적으면서 효율적인 트리를 구성할수 있는 애플리케이션 레벨 멀티캐스트를 제안한다.
