  • Bosnia has a unique political and social structure of 'One State-Two Systems' according to the 'Dayton Peace Agreement'. It is true that since the end of the 1995 civil war, the problem of nation and peace in Bosnia has been attracted by the broad concept of Europe as a whole, beyond the local dimension of the Balkans. Bosnia is a typical 'Mosaic of Religion and Culture' region in Europe. And Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia, where various religious and cultural features of Europe are gathered, is called 'Jerusalem in Europe'. For this reason Bosnia has repeated a history of cultural and religious conflict since the Middle Ages. However, before the civil war in the late 20th century, the nations in Bosnia also had experience of 'harmony among various nations, religions and cultures of East and West'. The international community, including the EU, has paid attention to this point as it promotes Bosnia's reconstruction and peace settlement. And these are working to restore the history of harmony among nations in Bosnia today. In the past, research on Bosnia has focused primarily on national conflicts between religions and cultures. However, in this study, I will try to analyze the practical cases of peace settlement and harmony among nations in Bosnia as follows: First, 'Bosnia's accession to the EU' which means active intervention and continued interest of the international community. Second, 'the resolution of war crimes and liquidation of past history' through the end of ICTY mission in December 2017. And third, 'reflection of international society and historical reconciliation of Serbia' through the reinterpretation of the Srebrenica massacre.

At early periods methodism diffused rapidly and relocated toward marine routes. Lately hierarchical diffusion and contagious diffusion was typical, centering on the Gangwha Jungang Church. This successful acception was influenced with confusianism's acculturation. One of the reason why Gangwha people could accept the Christianity was reinterpretation and selective strategy by Hagok fraction that became one of confusinism, It seemed that several cultural elements of Hagok fraction was coincided with some elements of methodism. • The background of this study was the fact that the religious spaces require sacred space devices in addition to aesthetic aspects. This study began with the definition that 'philosophical phenomenology provides one of the theoretical frameworks for religious phenomenology'. Seeing that 'philosophical phenomenology has limitations in drawing out the characteristics, this study attempted to study religious spaces through the method of specialized and refined religious phenomenology for the religious spaces alone. The purpose of this study was to understand the characteristics of religious spaces and the fact that the religious spaces are divided into 'profane' domains and 'sacred' ones and to analyze the characteristics of space and light in terms of religious phenomenology through Dutch religious architect Dom Hans van der Laan's architectural projects of monasteries. The study method was to present the relationship between space and light in terms of religious phenomenology and to summarize Van der Laan's interpretational method of the religious spaces through the architect's life and architectural philosophy. The conclusion of this study was that Dom Hans van der Laan's entire works were judged to have sufficient research value in studying the religious spaces as they were all created in the special category of 'religion'. With his project, it is possible for us to study 'hierophany' as experience of space and light through the methodology of religious phenomenology. This study has significant meaning in that it introduced an architect of religious spaces and a related new view on architecture.

However, the lack of understanding and consideration of the church records and archives makes it very difficult to have an actual grasp of its status and practical supports, such as budget and personnel, for records management. In this study, literature reviews and current status of domestic Protestant church archives, user survey of Saemoonan Presbyterian church and interviews of church archives records officer were carried out. Based on the results of the study, three parts of the proposed plan of the Saemoonan Presbyterian Archives were suggested.
