The MQV protocol has been regarded as the most efficient authenticated Diffie- Hellman key exchange protocol, and standardized by many organizations including the US NSA. In Crypto 2005, Hugo Krawczyk showed vulnerabilities of MQV to several attacks and suggested a hashed variant of MQV, called HMQV, which provides the same superb performance of MQV and provable security in the random oracle model. In this paper we suggest an efficient authenticated Diffie-Hellman key exchange protocol providing the same functionalities and security of HMQV without random oracles. So far there are no authenticated Diffie-Hellman protocols which are provably secure without using random oracles and achieve the same level of security goals of HMQV efficiently yet.

The crest factor properties of 16-QAM modulated one- and two-code assisted multi-carrier code-division multiple-access (MC-CDMA) signals employing complementary pair as spreading sequences are characterized. It is shown that a set of relationship between the two 16-QAM symbols entirely characterize the power envelope waveforms of the signals. There exists 60 different sets of relationship, which results in 16 different crest factors as a result of various equivalent transforms on the corresponding message symbols. It is also shown that the individual crest factor corresponding to each message combination is always bounded by 3dB.

데이터베이스 시스템은 전통적으로 트랜잭션의 동시 접근 시 발생할 수 있는 문제들을 해결하고 동시성 향상을 위해 다양한 연구를 진행해 왔다. 다중 버전 기반의 동시성 제어 기법은 데이터 레코드에 대한 여러 버전을 전용 공간에 유지하고 이것을 통해 트랜잭션들의 동시 접근 시 블로킹 없이 원하는 데이터를 읽고 쓸 수 있게 된다. 그러나 데이터 레코드가 포함된 데이터 블록에 대해 여러 개의 트랜잭션이 동시에 데이터를 덮어쓰기 했을 경우 다수의 버전이 생성된다. 그래서 트랜잭션 별로 적합한 데이터 버전을 찾기 위해 버전들이 저장되어 있는 전용공간을 랜덤하게 검색해 데이터 블록을 찾아내야 하므로 많은 시간이 소모된다. 따라서 다중 버전 읽기의 부하를 줄이기 위해 차세대 저장 매체로 부상하고 있는 플래시 메모리를 이용할 경우 랜덤 읽기에 의한 데이터베이스 시스템의 성능저하를 줄일 수 있다. 플래시 메모리는 디스크와 달리 기계적인 파트가 존재하지 않기 때문에 저장된 모든 블록에 대해 빠른 랜덤 읽기를 가능하게 한다. 본 논문에서는 플래시 메모리를 다중 버전 기반의 동시성 기법에 적용했을 경우의 성능 평가를 통해 하드 디스크에 비해 3.5배 이상의 높은 성능을 보임을 증명한다.

We propose an RFID system based on range-free localization method. This method recognizes pre-determined reference tags first, and then checks within which reference tag the target tag is placed closest. It estimates target tag's position relative to the reference tag's position. We use Aging Counter to estimate the distance between reference and target tags using the read ratio of RFID tags. Practicality of the proposed method is verified by applying it to a library book locating system.

NEMO 기본 지원 (NEMO-BS, NEMO Basic Support) 프로토콜에서 MNN(Mobile Network Node)가 CN(Correspondent Node) 과 통신을 하기 위해서는 항상 MR(Mobile Router)과 HA(Home Agent) 사이의 양방향 터널을 이용해야 한다. 그러나 NEMO-BS 방식은 노드 간 데이터 전송 지연과 부분 구간에 대한 공격 가능성이 존재한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 NEMO를 위한 인증된 경로 최적화(ATRO) 프로토콜을 제안한다. MR은 홈 링크로부터 멀어졌다고 판단되면 MNN으로부터 위임 권한을 얻기 위해 권한 위임 프로토콜을 수행한다. 그런 후에 MR과 CN은 공개키 암호 방식을 이용하여 자신의 의탁주소(CoA, Care-of Address)를 MNN의 홈 주소(HoA, Home-of Address)와 매핑하기 위한 등록 과정을 수행한다. 이때 각 노드의 주소 소유권 증명을 위해 암호학적으로 생성한 주소(CGA, Cryptographically Generated Address)를 이용한다. 성능분석에서는 구간별 안전성과 종단간 패킷 전송 지연 시간을 통해 프로토콜을 분석한다.

In this paper, we design the circular slits in the parch antenna for size reduction and high gain working at 900 MHz. Modifying the rectangular type patch, we decrease the antenna real-estate, leading to antenna miniaturization with added circular slits in itself. The antenna is tuned for under -30 dB return loss by adjusting the number of circular slits and their radii, and its design is performed for the maxim bean pattern of 4 dBi gain. Compared with the antenna without circular slits, the designed antenna shows 20 MHz downward shift of frequency, proving that the size reduction is achieved with this antenna design.

Historically the relation between the power and archives is inseparable. Archives are the recorded traces of political actions and an intention of power has a considerable effect on the existence of archives. In the democratic society the power serves people on the basis of the archives adopted as an evidence of political actions. Archives play an important role for the balance of power, which is a principle point of democracy. Considering the function and symbolism of archives, its proper and reasonable management is connected directly to the protection of people's rights.

모바일 기기의 디자인은 제약적인 물리적 조건하에서 이루어지기 때문에, 사용자는 제품을 손으로 만지는 순간부터 제품 혹은 디자인의 물리적 사용성을 평가하게 된다. 근래 사용자들이 모바일를 장시간, 밀착해서 소지/사용하는 행태를 볼 때, 사용 초기에는 물리적 사용성 위주로 제품 사용성을 평가하고 이런 평가 결과는 사용 후반 까지 영향을 미친다. 이런 물리적 사용성에 관해서는 전 연구를 통해 제품 제품 개발 과정에서 모바일 기기의 물리적 사용성 문제 (PUI)가 발생하는 영역과 특성을 정의하였다. 또한, 물리적 사용성 문제가 개발 과정상에서 체크되고 개선 / 반영 하기 위한 하였다. 본 사례 연구에서는 QWERTY 키 패드 모바일 기기를 디자인 하기 위해 물리적 사용성 고려 요소를 평가 하고, 사용자의 인지적 사용성에도 영향을 미치는 물리적 요소를 평가하는 과정을 소개한다. 제품 디자인 전제 벤치마킹/ 컨셉 회의는 의례적으로 이루어 지지만, 사용성 관점에서 디자인시 고려할 요소를 평가하는 과정을 논의하고자 한다. 본 사례 연구 결과 본 연구를 통해 사용자가 느끼는 컨텐츠 만족도를 제외한 모바일 기기의 만족도는 다분히 물리적 사용성 부분에 존재하며 제품 디자인시 물리적 사용성 고려 요소를 조사하고 반영해야 한다는 필수성을 증명하고 있다.

In this paper, the dependence of interconnect line-induced delay time on the size of CMOSFET gate width is characterized. In case of capacitance dominant interconnect line, the total delay time decreases as transistor size increases. However, there exists a transistor size for minimum total delay time when both of resistance and capacitance of interconnect line become larger than those of transistor. The optimum transistor size for minimum total delay time is obtained using an analytic equation and the experimental results showed good agreement with the calculation.

In this paper, we design a dynamic state feedback smooth stabilizer for a nonlinear system whose Jacobian linearization may have uncontrollable mode because its eigenvalues are on the right half-plane. After designing an augmented system, a dynamic exponent scaling and backstepping enable one to explicitly design a smooth stabilizer and a continuously differentiable Lyapunov function which is positive definite and proper. The convergence of the designed controller is proved by the new notion 'degree indicator'.
